Anaa Episode 22 Story Review – The Reactions
Tonight’s episode was relatively slow paced considering this was the 22nd episode and something major happened last week. This episode covered almost all the tracks and some of the tracks are going around in circles. This drama continues to be not-so-desi and at the same time there are some characters which play the zalim samaj with great dedication.
The Love Triangles
Anya’s role tonight was surprising as well as really difficult to connect to since her actual feelings were not shown. The fact that she was willing to do anything at all to please Areesh wasn’t surprising or unbelievable but surely this was not easy for her. There wasn’t a single scene in this episode which covered her true emotions at this moment. It was however good to see her being relieved when she left her in law’s house. Daneen and Areesh are planning to run away but no one talked about how Daneen was going to get a divorce from Saif. Daneen feels for Anya and she is ‘thankful’ but she does not want to let go of Areesh. Daneen is back to being her careless self mainly because of the fact that no one really looked out for her when she needed support. Daneen however is making yet another mistake and Saif even after all this is not willing to give her a divorce.
After giving up on Ezza, Altamash decided to call his ex and ended up meeting Ezza unexpectedly yet again. Kabir bhai’s outburst was completely unexpected and I don’t understand why the men in this drama manhandle the women whenever they are upset. One thing is for sure that Ezza’s ‘no’ always means a yes since after refusing to go out for coffee with Kabir, she was at the coffee shop with him in the next scene. The scene at the coffee shop was really cute until Kabir lost it! Naimal Khawar is especially cute in scenes covering her discomfort while she is around Altamash. Altamash once again mistook Kabir as Ezza’s ‘love interest’ which was slightly disappointing considering he is a smart guy who really should know better. Hopefully after finding out what Nazia has done, he will figure out why Ezza was too embarrassed to talk to him even. Altamash’s reaction after he found out everything that had happened was quite ‘thanda’ considering he is so over protective about Anya. Also, Ghazanfar didn’t try hard enough to find Areesh since he had an inkling that Anya was in touch with him.
Final Remarks
Tonight’s episode covered some of the reactions, the viewers have yet to see how Daneen’s father will react to the latest developments. The preview of the next episode suggested that something tragic is about to happen. It would have been nice if we got to see more of Daneen’s father since he was not shown thinking about Daneen even once after that visit. Waiting to find out how these complicated situations are eventually resolved. Anaa has definitely been an interesting watch but some of the situations are getting highly repetitive. It is certainly time to wrap things up since the drama so far has been well paced. Daneen, even with all her flaws, continues to be the most appealing aspect of this drama. I am still hoping that she will eventually be the one who will convince Areesh to go back to Anya.
Do share your thoughts about tonight’s episode of Anaa.
Hina Altaf Took Revenge from Aiman Khan – Old Video is a proof
Hina Altaf has been in the news lately for criticizing co-star Muneeb Butt because according to her he cannot act. Aiman Butt and Minal Butt were quick to react when they watched Hina Altaf passing comments about Muneeb Butt which were degrading. Most of the people found it difficult to understand why Hina Altaf would do something like that.
Well, looks like the mystery has been solved since an old video from Yasir Hussain’s talk show in which Aiman Khan and Minal Khan were invited as guests has gone viral on the internet. In this video clip, Aiman Khan is seen criticizing Hina Altaf’s acting skills. When Yasir Hussain asked Aiman Khan to choose one actress who wasn’t good at what she did, Aiman Khan chose Hina Altaf saying that the other two choices i.e. Saboor Aly and Iqra Aziz were really good actors.
Is it possible that there was a cold war going on between these actresses even before which is why Hina Altaf made fun of Aiman Khan and Muneeb Butt of the show To Be Honest? Some of the celebrities are not happy with this situation, they are questioning whether it really is neccessary to give actors such choices and they are also asking why some actors make fun of others like this.
Aiman Khan Got Angry With Hina Altaf’s Remarks About Her Husband
Aiman Khan termed the host and the guest ‘uneducated’ for criticizing them like this. Now it seems like Aiman Khan too has done the same thing in the past. Now that this video has gone viral, people are putting two and two together. Some people are saying that it looks like Hina Altaf was simply getting back at Aiman Khan.

Cheekh Episode 25 & 26 – Story Review
Opening Thoughts – Drag:
Oh yawn, I mean Ohkay so, these two episodes of Cheekh were full of cheekhs & this drama has become such a drag that I couldn’t bring myself to review it last week, that is why I thought it would be a good idea to do a combined review of two episodes. The story has moved forward & this episode was quite happening but I could sense that they are now wrapping the drama up which actually makes me so happy that I am doing an imaginary bhangra in my head. Imagine, how desensitized this drama has made us by showing so many tragedies that even though in this episode one of the nicest characters have died but I am not feeling a thing rather I’m looking forward to the end!
Hospital Is The New Home:
In the previous episode, the only important scene was of Shariq’s meeting with Wajih, where he deliberately made him confess everything so that Haya could believe & find out the truth. Even though they have not revealed it yet & they might be saving it as a final nail in the coffin but I do hope Shariq was wise & sharp enough to record Wajih’s confession on his phone. I hope he has done that because in that entire scene his hands were in his pocket, so let’s hope that has happened. Also, if Shariq has not done that then I’m not sure why making Wajih confess only for Haya to hear was so important? But I hope some recording was done. In this episode, Shariq recorded Wajih partying only to send it to Haya so it does show that Shariq does know how recording works, so here’s to hoping!!!
Mannat was being treated so that her mental health deteriorates & she can be declared a cynic but one of the doctors saved the day & then Shayan’s dramatic move also made Yawar stop Aqil from doing whatever he was doing.
To be honest, in the quest of showing how to stand for the right & all that jazz, I feel the writer & team Cheekh has taken it toooooooooo far. This far that now anyone would think a million times before standing up for the right or challenging the powerful. I know they have shown a reality, I know this is the ghissa pitta excuse they give for churning out so much of negativity but still, I think in stead of putting the right message across, they have done enough to scare people to the core. It all started from Mannat losing her friend but then later Mannat went on a losing spree – she lost her baby, she lost her mother, she was at the brink of losing her sanity & eventually she has lost her husband!?! So not needed & so unnecessary. Also, it is funny that half of this drama was shot in a hospital! I wonder why couldn’t they show that after Shayan met some injuries, Mannat took it on her to teach Wajih a lesson because she has had enough? Why couldn’t they show that a supportive husband like Shayan was by Mannat’s side & saw her win the case. Nahi jee, killing & deaths of characters mean more ratings to chalo, aisay hi sahi. This drama might be showing how difficult the fight for justice is, but that thing is long forgotten & now it has just turned into something super depressive!!!
Finally, it has taken a loss of his brother Shayan for Yawar to now finally realize that he has been wrong all along by supporting Wajih. Unfortunately, he had to go through such a big shock to come to his senses & now when the maid testified against Wajih, Yawar knew he could not do anything because Wajih dug his own grave. I so hope that the writer doesn’t show Wajih losing his senses, rather he should totally stay mentally conscious to feel the guilt & regret all that he has done!
Closing Thoughts – I Have A Headache:
These two episodes of Cheekh were alright. This drama is popular but then, apart from negativity, there’s nothing that I see in it. It is a typical Zanjabeel Asim Shah script & next time if I see her name, I will switch the TV off because my mental sanity & health comes first. It is beyond shocking how this much of negativity can come from someone’s mind. Also, in the last couple of weeks I have had reruns of beautiful dramas like Malal & Doraha & while watching them, I really enjoyed how quiet those dramas were, even if there was a background music, it was instrumental & lasted for a few seconds & when there were conversations, there was no music. This is something that our drama makers especially those associated with ARY Digital should consider because there is so much noise & so much usage of music/OST in every single episode that it literally gives you a headache. No joke, I have been watching Cheekh on volume as low as 5 because the loud background music just gets to me & tonight was no different, I have a headache because I just watched this episode. Anyways, acting of all the actors has been good no doubts about it but this drama on the whole is meh. Zanjabeel Asim Shah needs to go on a long break & probably never return as a writer. The fact that after Balaa, she became the content head of ARY Digital is alarming. Please share your thoughts about this episode of Cheekh!

Deewar-e-Shab Episode 6 Story Review – Fast Paced
This was another fast paced episode of Deewar-e-Shab and the most significant development in it was Nagina’s growing resentment and changed personality. Apart from that, few of the characters from the new generation were introduced in this episode. Some of the scenarios were rushed, which is okay, as long as the writer has enough to keep the viewers entertained right till the end or at least for more than 10 weeks. Most of the characters in this play so far are black and white, Nagina is the only dynamic character which is why her track is that part of the story which makes you feel connected. Sitara Jahan and Dildar begum’s personalities and their relationship did not change in all these years. I am not surprised that Sarah Khan is playing Geeti Ara’s role because she has continuously been seen taking up such roles in dramas. Nausheen Shah’s performance continues to be the best part of this play since some of the other performances have been over-dramatic. The young actress playing Geeti Ara’s role was also quite impressive.
Khayyam’s Welcome
The first half of this episode covered in detail how different family members reacted to Khayyam’s arrival and the news of Feroza’s death. Islam’s character was further revealed and his dialogues were beautifully written. He is definitely the most positive character in this play and Kamran Jillani is well-suited for playing this role. Sitara Jahan’s reaction was shown in an overdramatic manner and just like always Dildar begum was there to remind her how Feroza had betrayed her. Nagina’s reaction could have been covered in a better way since she was more excited to meet Khayyam instead of showing the shock she felt knowing that her sister was dead. I am glad the viewers got to hear how Feroza suffered and they were not shown this scenario as a backstory since the way the backstory was covered in the most rushed and unconvincing manner in the previous episode. Gaiti Ara immediately welcomed Khayyam, noticed that he was a sad little boy and decided she was going to do whatever it took to make him happy. Although I absolutely loved the performance of the child star playing Gaiti Ara’s role but I must say that the character so far has too good to be true written all over it. Hopefully, Gaiti Ara will have more to offer in the future.
Sandal on the other hand wanted Khayyam out of the house right away and the fact that her nanni hit her because of him probably made her hate him even more. Sandal therefore is a complete opposite in every single way. There hasn’t been a single scene in which she was shown in a good light. All of this also seems like a repeat of Feroza and Nagina. Khayyam’s confusion and his discomfort was also translated well on screen. He had no idea who these people were and was obviously distant even though he was getting all this love. Another thing which stood out more than any other was his hatred for everything which was musical or which in any way was related to the actual profession of the family he now belonged to. These scenes were meaningful as well as alarming since his mother also left this life because she did not like it, was Khayyam going to cause more problems for Sitara Jahan?
Present Day Story
The second half of this episode covered the present day story and some of the characters from present day were introduced. Sarah Khan is playing the role of Gaiti Ara, who is about to complete her studies. Gaiti Ara is a studious young girl who is still close to her cousin Khayyam (Shehroze Sabzwari). Khayyam seemed like an angry young man who hated the family profession more than ever. Nagina changed the most in all these years. After working hard and compromising on roles, she had still achieved nothing. She blamed Feroza more than ever and her dialogues about Khayyam also suggested that she didn’t think highly of him. While Dildar begum’s granddaughter took the family business forward and earned well for them, things in Sitara Mahal were quite different. Sitara Jahan was still finding it hard to make ends meet but was unwilling to compromise on her rules and integrity.
Kinza Hasmi, Osama Tahir and Anmol Baloch were among some of the actors from the new generation which were introduced in this episode. Quite surprisingly Islam and Izhaar’s children are engaged. Islam mentioned that there was a huge class difference between them but his wife was more than eager to get the children married.
These characters and their stories were covered for a short duration therefore right now it is too early to say anything about them. I am waiting to find out more about them but definitely not looking forward to Khayyam’s father making an appearance since Raja Haider’s performance last week was extremely disappointing.
Final Remarks
Overall, this was an entertaining episode with the story moving forward considerably. Although Deewar-e-Shab is a decent play but the over-dramatic performances sometimes undermine the impact of certain important developments. I am however looking forward to the next episode and waiting to see what the Deewar-e-Shab team has in store for us next.
Do share your thoughts about tonight’s episode.

Maya Ali And Sheheryar Munawar Love Locked Around The World
Maya Ali and Sheheryar Munawar will be playing the lead roles in the upcoming star-studded film Parey Hut Love. The stars have been seen promoting their film all around the world in order to convince the viewers to go to the cinema halls to watch their film.
Maya Ali and Sheheryar Munawar also came up with a new idea to promote their film. They have been putting love locks around the world which have Parey Hut Love written on them. This novel concept of promoting the film is getting them the attention which they are looking for in order to market their film.
The concept of love locks started in Paris when tourists started putting love locks under the famous bridge Pont des Arts. These love locks had messages of love and humanity. Some of the people after tying the locks under the bridge used to throw the key in the Seine River below.
The Parey Hut Love team got the idea from there and is leaving these custom made Parey Hut Love , love locks around the world. Maya Ali and Sheheryar Munawar have been seen putting love locks in Paris near the Eiffel Tower and in London Town. While promoting their film in Lucky One Mall Karachi, they also promoted the idea of these love locks.
This concept is fresh which is being liked by the viewers. The locks themselves have been designed beautifully. Maya Ali and Sheheryar Munawar have never shared screen space before but they have really enjoyed this experience. They have been actively promoting their film, cheering each other on.
Kun Faya Kun Episode 2 – Story Review
Opening Thoughts – A Good Episode:
Ohkay so, this episode of Kun Faya Kun was good. The drama has started on a note where the family politics and family dynamics are being made obvious. Even though the first two episodes showed what we have seen before in quite a lot of dramas, the direction and acting of all the actors really are elevating the level of this drama.
Appa Jee Took A Stand:
Shama & Faseeha made sure to let Appa Jee know that she was being burdensome to her sons. I have said this before & I’d say this again, I am loving Appa Jee’s character & I am sure she is going to become the favourite grandparent of the Pakistani drama buffs in the near future. I actually thought that Appa Jee will take it all on her & she will keep things from Ubaid & Abbas but she really took me by surprise when she made it very obvious that it was Shama who insinuated all of this. I hooted for Appa Jee when she told Ubaid & Abbas everything but then it kind of broke my heart that despite knowing everything & wanting to do so much for Appa Jee, both Ubaid & Abbas were not in a position as their wives were a bit too controlling.
It was beautifully shown by the writer that Appa Jee did not even think for a second before coming to this decision & letting it all out because first & foremost she had this strong belief in Allah. Appa Jee could have ignored what Shama said if she had relied on her sons but Appa Jee made it very clear that she only believed in relying on Allah that is why it was very easy for her to let go of her sons. Even though Appa Jee tries really hard to instil this level of faith in Mashal too but by being a living example of it, she is teaching that to Mashal effortlessly!
I loved the way things unravelled in both the households where both Shama & Faseeha were shown their right place but fortunately for them, the fate is in their favor right now but karma will obviously get back to them. I kind of enjoyed that the scenes, especially of Shama’s household had that comic touch to them, like Shama overdoing it & then forgetting all about it & having food while chilling with her daughter. She really is mean & she is unapologetic about it. Faseeha is mean too but she is still subtle about it whereas Shama is all out & she is funny!
Hashir & Mashal are the only sane ones from the younger lot, even Armaan is too but the remaining three; Burhan, Areesha & Bisma are hopeless. Hashir & Mashal’s interaction was sweet. Appa Jee has a support system in the form of Hashir but again, she knows Faseeha is eventually going to make sure he stops helping Appa Jee out that is why, she wasn’t really keen on letting Hashir help her. Mashal & Appa Jee’s scenes were heart-touching & I am so glad we’re getting to hear some meaningful conversations in this drama where Appa Jee continues to guide Mashal & make her understand the importance of having strong faith in Allah.
Areesha & Bisma didn’t have much going on for them except to show how mean & shallow they both equally are. Burhan is no different too. To be honest, I know both these girls are just negative but their scenes had cringe written all over them. Also, I found it interesting how all these girls were reflecting the kind of influence they’ve had all their lives, Faseeha & Shama’s daughters being evil just like them but Mashal was clean-hearted like Appa Jee.
Closing Thoughts – Nargis Rasheed; The Star of This Episode:
Overall, this episode of Kun Faya Kun was quite engaging. I must say, the star of this episode definitely was Nargis Rasheed, I enjoyed her performance so much, she was phenomenal as Shama with every expression being so on-point. I really don’t say this in a negative way but if this is makeup & a deliberate effort of looking evil then Areej Mohyuddin has succeeded, like I could feel the negative vibes in her scenes, she has created that aura perfectly but I hope it is only projected for this drama. Zarnish Khan, I know is a very good actor but the amount of over-acting she has done is putting Sahir Lodhi to shame. I know Bisma is the ‘papa ki pari’ sort of a character & Zarnish Khan has given it the right kind of treatment as far as her styling is concerned but she actually could’ve refrained from the over-acting & it would’ve worked wonders. The amount of expressions she has given was actually making my eyes hurt, like it was hard to grasp all of that in a few second scenes. I hope her acting settles down in the future episodes. Imran Abbas did good but I want to see more of his character, I kind of giggled when he called Mashal his ‘chutki’ as we all know what’s in store for them. Alizeh Shah, though she might not be such an experienced actor but she is doing well as innocent Mashal. Nargis Rasheed was amazing in this episode & I know it sounds funny but I will be looking forward to her scenes in the episodes to come. I am glad they have not relied too much on background music, makes it easy to watch it without hurting your eardrums. The direction is great but I loved the aerial shots & different angles, camera work is brilliant. Please share your thoughts about this episode of Kun Faya Kun.

Aiman Khan Got Angry With Hina Altaf’s Remarks About Her Husband
Aiman Khan Got Angry with Hina Altaf’s Remarks about Her Husband and Marriage – Hina Altaf and Aiman Khan are popular celebrities but there is a definite difference between the personalities of the two celebrities. While Aiman Khan is always calculated and to the point in interviews, Hina Altaf never shies away from speaking her mind. Hina Altaf was invited as a guest on the show To Be Honest which is hosted by Tabish Hashmi and directed by Azfar Ali.
A clip of this show has gone viral in which Hina Altaf and the host Tabish are seen talking about Muneeb Butt and Aiman Khan in a way which wasn’t liked by the celebrities concerned, for obvious reasons. The host asked Hina Altaf to name an actor who doesn’t know a thing about acting but is all airs and graces. Hina Altaf immediately named Muneeb Butt. What was even more belittling was that the host said that he had no idea who she was talking about since he did not follow television. He turned to google to search for answers. This clearly was another way of questioning Muneeb Butt’s fame and recognition. Hina Altaf’s reply to this was equally offensive when she said he is the one who had that expensive wedding , suggesting that that’s all he has to his credit.
As if this was not enough, the host replied by saying that he remembered this wedding because the bride Aiman Khan posted a picture discouraging people from giving and taking jahez right after her marriage. Aiman Khan and Minal Khan immediately expressed their anger via facebook statuses. Aiman Khan called Hina Altaf and the host ‘uneducated’ because in her opinion it was really upsetting to watch them making fun of their co-stars in such a manner. Minal Khan also questioned why there was so much hatred in the industry.
This was either something which was planned or perhaps the content of the show is such that they get ratings because of bashing celebrities.

Meer Abru Episode 26 & 27 – Story Review
Opening Thoughts – Full Points:
Ohkay so, these two episodes of Meer Abru took the story forward & while showing how everyone was dealing with the absence of Saim in their lives, they all were still trying to move on. When it comes to pace & the change of scenario, Meer Abru scores full points for it. This drama has remained consistently good & I feel other drama-makers should take notes from Team Meer Abru.
Meer Is Trying To Redeem Himself:
Abru was sent to her father’s place & even before she left, she was humiliated. Neither Saira nor Meer could do anything otherwise Abru would’ve never faced what Zaibi put her through. Meer has finally realized that he was wrong all along & that he doubted Saim for no good reason. Where it was good to see that a stubborn person like Meer was now reflecting upon his mistakes & trying his best to make amends, Zaibi as well as Waleed once again took the wrong direction & continued with their agendas. It is unfortunate that even after losing her son, Zaibi has still not learnt her lesson.
I liked the conversation between Jamal & Meer where he apologized but then Jamal told him he could have all that he ever wanted. Jamal realized that nothing was worth more than his own son & that all of the wealth that he has can never bring Saim back, his aloofness was so realistic but it is sad that Zaibi is not even thinking straight & Saim’s death has not altered her perspective!
Meer was trying his best to let everyone know that he has changed & that he will now do everything to bring them all together. It was bittersweet how Meer was learning every step of the way about all the things that Saim used to do, all the roles that he played & how he acted like a binding force to keep the entire family together. Meer learnt it the hard way that he had Saim’s shoes to fill but then this was his path of redemption where he had already started walking on it!
Abru was shattered & just the thought of having Meer around her made her bitter but then Meer finally had a conversation with her & made her understand that this was something that Saim had wanted for her & Meer was just making that happen on his behalf. I love the fact that even though Meer & Abru are so distant but still every time they are around each other, they still have that connection. Their past is not forgotten & even though Abru has moved on, Meer’s heart still beats for her.
Zaibi & Waleed are upto no good & this time around yet again, they are using Haya as a stooge for their ulterior motives. To be honest, now when something wrong will happen with Haya, I don’t think I will feel anything for her. She’d actually deserve all that Zaibi & Waleed will put her through because of her own stupidity & also for doubting her own sister.
Closing Thoughts – So Far So Good:
Overall, these episodes of Meer Abru were really good. I am loving this drama so far & I am totally impressed with how everything has been unfolding without any delays or dragging. It is truly amazing that even after so many episodes have passed, I have only good things to say about Meer Abru. Please share your thoughts about this episode of Meer Abru.

Nida Yasir’s VS Kanwal Ahmed of Soul Sister | Emotional Response To Critics
Nida Yasir was criticized a lot by ladies in a particular well-known closed social media forum titled Soul Sisters of Pakistan when she flaunted her shopping after she came back from her trip abroad on live television. Although this was an old show which was aired again because Nida Yasir wasn’t available but the ladies at the forum criticized Nida Yasir not only for showing off her expensive shopping but also the timing of this show since Nida’s mother-in-law had recently passed away. According to Nida Yasir, a lady from the forum also messaged her husband Yasir Nawaz to cause a ‘rift’ between the two. In her show Nida Yasir said that she had ignored her critics for too long and now she was not going to sit back and watch them do and say whatever they were doing against her.
Nida Yasir accused all these ladies of ‘harassment’ and also vowed to take action against Kanwal Ahmed, who runs the group. She accused Kanwal Ahmed, who runs the page Soul Sisters Pakistan saying that she had an agenda. She also criticized Kanwal Ahmed for running a show which basically ‘used’ the stories of women who had gone through traumatic experiences to attract the audience. Kanwal Ahmed has her own show ‘Conversations With Kanwal’, which is available on her YouTube channel and on her official page. Kanwal Ahmed invited different women to her show who share their personal stories and the main reason of these shows is to inspire other women.
Nida Yasir was quite emotional while sharing how she felt about all this criticism and she also said that the thing that worried and angered her the most was that these women actually tried to cause a rift between her and her husband. Some of these accusations obviously are baseless since Yasir Nawaz surely knew about all this and no stranger can cause a rift just like that. Nida Yasir also defended herself saying that all the things she showed from her shopping spree were brought on sale therefore saying that she was promoting expensive brands or making others feel bad about not having the finances to buy them was absolutely wrong. Some of the women even suggested that Kanwal Ahmed should host the host the show instead of Nida Yasir because Nida’s show was shallow.
There were some people who also said that Nida Yasir was actually feeling insecure because Kanwal Ahmed’s show was doing so well. There were others who felt that Nida Yasir’s ranting on television was an extremely immature act since these people who were sharing their opinion were from general public and they were merely voicing their opinions, there was no agenda involved. People have been asking Nida Yasir to work on the content of her show and now once again, it is in the news for the wrong reasons. Kanwal Ahmed decided to stay quiet about the issue for now but while replying to one of the social media users, she replied that she could not stop people from sharing their opinions. She also said that there were other people running the group on her behalf and she was not the one moderating the page.
It remains to be seen what ‘action’ Nida Yasir is going to take against the ladies involved. She named Kanwal Ahmed in particular therefore she is going to be the main person who will be held accountable by Nida Yasir.
Khaas Episode 12 – Story Review
Opening Thoughts – Brilliantly Executed:
Ohkay so, this episode of Khaas was again brilliantly executed. As the episodes are progressing, all the issues that Saba has with Ammar are making more and more sense because they now seem realistic & are being conveyed in a brilliant manner. The direction surely has improved a lot & it is now becoming such a drama that appeals to me.
Saba Is Being Held Responsible:
Saba was brought back to Ammar’s house but no one was actually trying to understand what her issues with Ammar were. Everyone around Saba tried to make her feel guilty & responsible for the miscarriage. The way Saba’s deteriorating mental health was shown was perfect, it was like she was feeling helpless & slowly & steadily she was losing hope of being heard too. In the middle of all those lectures that Saba was getting, it was Farah who was feeling for Saba. It would be good to see Farah having a conversation with Saba on a personal level because now even Farah is a little convinced that Ammar is not such an ideal husband as he poses to be & as everyone around him thinks he is!
Ammar failed to take any responsibility yet again & even though he did bring Saba back to put an impression on everyone, he was barely there for her. Ammar has found a new activity in the form of Salma & she is now spending quite a lot of time with Ammar. Even though at this stage Ammar thinks no one really questions him or doubts his intentions but finally, his friend and colleague did put two & two together & concluded that it was Ammar’s behaviour & mistreatment with Saba that must’ve caused the miscarriage. Even though this does seem like a bit of a stretch but yes, at times smallest of mistakes do make women go through a miscarriage. Ammar is guilty & he pretty much knows what he has done but he is obviously never going to admit his mistakes, therefore he continued to make Saba feel that it was her fault!
Saba did try to confront Ammar, it was one of the most powerful scenes of this episode but then even after she said what was in her heart & the truth, Ammar couldn’t take it. Ammar’s entire family is bent on proving that Saba has psychological issues because she sees faults in her perfect husband.
Faakhir gave Saba a shoulder to cry on & even though at first Saba did not tell him anything, he ended up finding out everything from his & Ammar’s mutual friend & Fakhir felt broken. Nida has decided to confess her feelings to Fakhir but then Saba’s friendship with Fakhir will be used against her. Faraz’s approach regarding this entire matter is disgusting. Just because Faraz got what he wanted from Ammar, he now thinks Saba belongs to him & he is free to treat Saba whichever way he pleases. Faraz has shown to be quite a doting husband so for him to completely ignore the fact that his daughter was having a tiff with her husband is ridiculous. The least Faraz could have done as a father is ask Saba once to find out what was running through her mind.
Closing Thoughts – Intense:
Overall, this episode of Khaas was definitely good. It is nice to see that the script now has some seriousness to it & all the problems are now surfacing in a very convincing manner. Slowly & steadily the writer has showed how things are getting beyond difficult for Saba but what’s worse is that no one is trying to even listen to her. Everyone has done a great job but Ali Rehman was really good in this episode. Sanam Baloch should have gargled with hot water before her scenes because she really had a hard time delivering her dialogues & she didn’t sound too good. The direction of Khaas surely has improved & every situation has that perfect intensity that it requires. Please share your thoughts about this episode of Khaas.
