Such a story came about little 8 year old Naghma when she visited a camp by an animal rescue nd rehabilitation center ACF.
Naghma is only 8 years of age and she is sole bread winner of her house. She drives a donkey cart and transports wood all over Karachi. She came to a camp by ACF to get a new leash and cart for her donkey.
Her 7 year old brother accompanies her as she goes out to work everyday. She started working at the meagre age of 6 and it has been two years already. Naghma said that no one helps in this world. She had kept her donkey very healthy. This is her story:
Chief Justice Islamabad High Court (IHC) Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui has said that the court will take a decision on whether Facebook ban should be implemented in Pakistan or not in the next hearing.
The hearing will be held on March 27th, the idea behind this ban is to have all controversial content removed from the social media platform.
A suspect was arrested on account of sharing and spreading controversial content via social media.
The DG FIA apprised the IHC that the agency was keeping at least three suspects under constant surveillance and that the names of a few more suspected persons were also placed on the Exit Control List (ECL).
“A mobile phone and a laptop have also been recovered from the suspect’s possession which now rests with forensic officials,” said an FIA Official
Justice Siddiqui, remarked that time should be given to the Facebook management and until then he said:
“it was important to ban Facebook in Pakistan.”
According to Monthly Brands, Siddiqui also added “if we do not have the platform to update selfies, check-ins & food images then we will surely not die.”
Designer Amir Adnan will “create awareness about the deaf community” as he showcases his collection at Fashion Pakistan Week (FPW) Spring/Summer 2018 in Karachi.
The designer will have two segments as he showcases his collection on the first day of FPW which is being held on April 10 and 11.
In Adnan’s first segment, six models who are part of the JS Academy for the Deaf will walk the runway wearing clothes from the designer’s When in Karachi series.
The segment will be headed by Adnan’s head designer, who is also hearing-impaired and a graduate of the JS Academy for the Deaf.
Adnan’s daughter Parishae stated,
“The purpose of the show is to create awareness of the hearing impaired community,”
She continued stating that the aim of the segment is not to show to people that “deaf model can model too”,
“The senior most designer of the brand is hearing impaired and his work is outstanding and that’s what we want to show.”
The House of Amir Adnan said in a statement,
“The purpose of this show is to create awareness about the deaf community and symbolise that it does not matter if it is fashion or modelling or any other field, having a hearing impairment does not mean that you should not chase your dreams,”
The models while walking down the runway will use universal sign language to say “Deaf can do anything”.
Apart from the first segment, Amir’s second segment will be showcasing a environmentally conscious collection featuring ‘upcycled’ vintage Sherwanis.

HBL PSL is about to kick off today and cricket fever is high in the whole country. PSL is the time of the year when the whole country celebrates the true spirit of cricket. International cricket stars come to Pakistan become a part of PSL taking PSL hues to another level. From the past few years since PSL came home and the world can witness the passion of cricket in Pakistan.
PSL includes 5 teams in total naming Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultan, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, and Karachi Kings. Every year the owners of the team hire celebrities as the brand ambassadors of the relevant teams and they also make appearances in the anthem video of the teams. HBL PSL is the most anticipated time of the year ever since it has been started. HBL PSL 6 has just started and like every other year, the passion is really high this year too. People are enjoying the true spirit of cricket and were eagerly waiting for the opening ceremony as “Groove Mera” had already triggered the emotions. Star-studded opening ceremony pf PSL 6 started off with the speech of Chairman PCB Ehsan Mani followed by the speech of CEO HBL Mohammad Aurangzeb and then the most entertaining part of the ceremony initiated. The performances started off with Atif Aslam lighting up the stage with the medley he also flaunted a few of his dance moves.
