After a lot of Twitter banter and ideas about starring together, Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa were finally roped in to play the leads in Nabeel Qureshi’s Quaid E Azam Zindabad. The shoot kick started last year and the two have now successfully wrapped up the shooting of the film now.

Recently appearing on a web talk show, Fahad Mustafa talked about his instant connection with Mahira Khan when they met on the sets of the film.

“Mahira Khan is an absolutely positive person. There are people you work with and yet you cannot form a connection with, but my connection with Mahira was instant. It was an absolute delight to work with her,” said Fahad.

Fahad went on to state that he and Mahira had danced amazingly together. “I feel mine and Mahira’s dance number will be the best till date,” claimed the Actor in Law star.

Actor Fahad Mustafa takes a stand for captain Sarfaraz Ahmed. Fahad believes Sarfaraz deserves better.

Jeeto Pakistan is a Pakistani game show, hosted by actor Fahad Mustafa on ARY Digital. The show was inspired from Inaam Ghar & was launched on 18 May 2014. It has been called the “biggest game show” of Pakistan. Jeeto Pakistan’s participants are selected randomly from a studio audience, who require passes to attend the show. The show is divided into several segments, each one offering contestants prizes in return for achieving a set of challenges or game tasks given by the host. In the Ramadan season of 2020, the show’s format was changed in light of the coronavirus pandemic and the studio audience was eliminated. Instead, a “league” based format was introduced where teams representing five major cities would compete against each other, with each team led by a notable celebrity.

KMKT actor also said, “Nobody was expecting that I will do a drama until I reached the set and meanwhile we were also talking to many A listers for this character who refused the drama. Hania Aamir was always there and she was the one who asked me to do the drama. We had Javed Sheikh with us and Emmad was always there. Bushra Ansari was also in my mind”

He further added, “Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum script was not written for me, I was about to do Burns Road Kay Romeo Juliet because an actor left the show. I could have done that but I was busy somewhere”.

He further said that he did Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum for Jarjees Seja because he wanted to do something for him. He also said that Jarjees always regarded him and he also thought that ARY needed him.

Recently, he appeared in Had Kardi hosted by Momin Saqib. While talking about facing the trolling when he touched Govinda’s feet, Fahad Mustafa said, “I don’t really care about social media trolling, its not the point, also, all my followers can’t love me, it’s my manager who keeps on telling me that you need this phone or you need to be on social media but I say to him that get me an old style phone. I don’t want to be part of that social media race, I use social media when I am free. Social media is good if you are using it for a good purpose”.

Fahad Mustafa replied very decently to what Aamir Liaquat said. He got his point across without sounding rude. Fahad Mustafa clearly said that he did not consider hosting real work, this was more of relaxation for him. He also said that he had great respect for Aamir Liaquat. Talented star Fahad Mustafa has recently produced two highly controversial dramas Jalan and Nand. Due to its content, Jalan was banned by PEMRA but later it was unbanned.

In a recent interview with BBC Urdu, Fahad Mustafa has talked about frequent banning of dramas by PEMRA.

He said, “We want to keep PEMRA busy, they also have the heart to do something. So you see, I say to every blogger and others that if we don’t make this kind of dramas what are you going to talk about? At least we are giving you something to talk about. Same is with PEMRA, we have great interactions with PEMRA. They have been very kind.”

To justify his controversial dramas, Fahad Mustafa gave the example of Ishq-e-Mamnoon drama and said, “When that drama went on air streets used to get empty what was happening in that serial? If I keep Shakespeare’s Macbeth then it will be a classy thing but if I am doing it then it will be Jalan. Its as simple as that so you see adaptation or central idea can come from anywhere.”

“In a nutshell, everybody saw it (Jalan) and it hit them so its fine but if anyone finds it uncomfortable then I still completely disagree with. As you see many people are working on one agenda because they have nothing else to do so its okay,” Fahad Mustafa added.

According to the latest news Fahad Mustafa has decided to quit hosting Hum TV’s Morning Show Jago Pakistan Jago. Fahad Mustafa has been attached with Hum TV for a few years but as we can see now that after he set up his production house, he has been more involved with ARY. Also, a production house needs a great deal of attention which he can only give if he has more time. He is also acting in almost all of the plays that are being made by his production house.

Fahad Mustafa is also part of Anjum Shehzad’s upcoming film which stars Sanam Saeed and Eman Ali too. He is also playing the lead role in Na Maloom Afraad alongside Javed Sheikh among others. He has many dramas in the pipeline too.

“You know my first ever serial which I did for television, I played his son – which he never tells anyone!”

“He is one person, who is not insecure at all. And he gives you due respect which I think is the best thing the guy has. I have never felt a single day that some way or the other he is trying to cut my scenes. That is why he is so successful.”
