Cricket is the only sport in this country that brings monetary benefits. It is the only sport that is watched and gets state support. Businesses flock towards it and you become a hit among the masses if you are a cricketer even if you are massively average. The stardom linked with cricket has elevated it in Pakistan and it gets all the investments. Cricketers are however still not very good and they are generally seen disappointing the fans.

Arshad Nadeem is the most decorated athlete in the country right now with the country’s first ever and only Olympic gold medal in any track events. He has reached this position after a lot of hard work and resilience. He had no support and brought glory for Pakistan single-handedly.

The athlete spoke to the international media after his gold win and shared his journey with the world. He revealed that he wanted to be a cricketer and he used to play as a fast bowler. He could not continue it due to lack of resources and later on tried playing football, kabbadi and other athletics. He then discovered javelin throw and he has managed to become world no. 1 in the sport. Arshad Mehmood further added, “I never thought of acting. It was MD Productions and Mahesh who wanted to cast me in their drama. At that time, I was serving at NAPA. They got to know late that I had resigned from NAPA. Once they found out that I had left the academy, they signed me for Meem Se Mohabbat which they wanted for so long. The audience was so loving. Once, a girl came to me for a photograph, looked at me and asked, ‘Are all Dadas really like you?’ Maybe she was really immersed in the character.”

The famous music composer and the director for programs and administration at the National Academy of Performing Arts (Napa) Arshad Mehmood  has designed a web- based music for promoting and encouraging the new talent in the field of music. Arshad Khan has been getting fame since the very first moment, people not just in Pakistani but whole Asia went gaga over his looks. He was hired as a model, went on to do music videos and has signed a film too, and the recent one is a photoshoot. Famous photographer Azeem Sani recently had Arshad pose for a ‘wet look’ photoshoot.

In conversation with the Images, Azeem said, “When I told him that we’ll be shooting in the pool, he was cool about it. He said, ‘The water will be cold, but I’ll do it.’ I think wo shalwar kameez pehen pehen ke bore ho gia tha (he was bored of doing shalwar kameez shoots) and wanted to do something different. I shot him for five to 10 minutes in the water and uss ne mujhay tang nahi kia (he didn’t cause any problems).”

Still, Azeem thinks Arshad has a long way to go.

“The problem right now is that he’s very desi. He has a totally plain look and until someone gives him a proper haircut and wardrobe, he can’t be transformed. And he’s not easy at all to work with. I had to tell him everything, but he was listening to and understanding what I was saying, so that’s good.”

Photographer/stylist Azeem Sani weighs in on Arshad Khan’s potential, “As people like him and respond to him, Arshad’s getting more and more energy. He’ll do better with practice.”

“I see him doing better in commercials as opposed to modelling. He looks better chalta phirta (while moving). He has great hair, great skin. Shampoo, soap commercials can totally be his thing, even if starts with a small brand.”

“He’s only 17 years old, I want to see what he’s doing five years down. As people like him and respond to him, he’s getting more and more energy. He’ll do better with practice.”

Rumour has it that Arshad Khan, the famous chaiwala who gained overnight fame is going to make an appearance at the PSL 2017.

He has decided to set up a tea stall outside of the stadium.

Arshad has also reportedly shown his disappointment over the fact that he was unable to get tickets for the PSL 2017 Lahore Final.

Previously, a very steamy photo shoot featuring Arshad with a female singer became the talk of town. While some cheered for him, others were all critical. They bashed him for earlier stating that he won’t do anything which would defame his family.

There was also news which talked about how Arshad might leave the showbiz but he denied all such rumors.

We are sure that his tea is going to be a hit at the PSL final.

The handsome guy, Arshad Khan will continue shooting for his debut film Kabeer. Reports of him leaving showbiz and returning to his dhaba were surfing on the internet as one of his managers confirmed his departure from the Industry.

Soon after, the new statement released by his another manager popped out and confused us, but the recent reports confirm that Arshad will continue his career in industry and has been restricted to do any sort of intimate scenes. His family has allowed him to continue his career only if he doesn’t do any intimate or bold scenes.

“It all started when one of Khan’s team members leaked his photos on social media and showed them to his family members in Mardan,” Rizwan Kazmi, one of Khan’s two managers told The Express Tribune. “He belongs to a religious family so obviously the photos didn’t go too well with them and they asked him to quit immediately because it brought a bad name to the family.”

Kazmi further added that Khan has now convinced his relatives and promised his father that he will never perform intimate scenes or participate in an objectionable photo shoot. “We have also fired the person who leaked these photos from our team because Khan had no clue how and when the pictures were leaked and what this all could do to his reputation,” added Kazmi.

However, sources told The Express Tribune that Arshad has actually left the entertainment industry and is making an exception for Kabeer to avoid legal complications. “Khan along with six of his family members have signed a contract to guarantee his participation in the film Kabeer. 40 % of the shoot has already been completed while the second spell commences on January 20, ” said Kazmi.

He has been away from the limelight for some time now, however, he’s back with a new look! With his good looks and dreamy blue eyes, Arshad Khan is now sporting a blond streak in his hair.

Arshad’s manager Rizwan Kazmi told The Express Tribune, “Arshad is getting good modelling opportunities abroad. He will be attending two big fashion events in Canada and the UK.” He said Arshad would be heading to the UK next month and Canada later in July.

He further revealed that Arshad will not do any movie after this and his family is quite supportive now.

“Arshad will just model from now on. He is not interested in films. Khan’s family is really supporting him now because he is taking care of their needs. He still has the money he earned from his first projects including Muskan Jay’s Beparwai,” Rizwan said.

Arshad Khan, who became an internet sensation after a picture of his working at a tea stall went viral over the internet in 2016. He started his modeling career after overnight fame and has acted in a movie too which is going to be released in December 2019. 

Arshad Khan started making tea for people once again. While talking on SAMAA TV, he said that he started making tea for others because this is his identity. He added that he doesn’t drink tea himself but loves to make it for others. 

Arshad Khan hasn’t left modeling. He has been shooting for different advertisements and modeling projects. He is going to appear as the main role of a Pakistan Army Officer in an upcoming movie 24 hours. 

In the future, he plans to open a tea cafe in different cities of Pakistan but right now he is waiting for the right partner who shares the same passion for tea like him. He knows that some people visit his tea stall for selfies while some come to enjoy the hot tea.
