Hum Style Awards 2024 took place last night. The show had some big names in the nominees for all the categories and people were able to vote for their favourite stars. The awards night saw some performances, the deliverance of awards to the winners while many out of the box fashion looks on the red carpet. The award went to Shahroz Sabzwari last night and it was a popular vote award.

Wahaj Ali is right now the nation’s sweetheart. He has also polished his style a lot in the last few years and his wardrobe as Murtasim Khan was one of the things that people fell in love with. The shawl he wore became iconic and he has been a face of many big fashion houses since playing Murtasim Khan on TV. He once again changed his style for Mein and went into a more laid back casual fashion alongside strong business suits. Wahaj obviously was a big contender for the award but did not win.

A couple of months ago Shahroz’s father Behroze Sabzwari, announced the good news at a show that Shahroz and Sadaf are expecting their first child together. The veteran Meera Jee’s younger sister Shaista is all set to make her debut in the Pakistani entertainment industry alongside Shahroz Sabzwari in the new drama serial ‘Seep’.

In a recent interview the ‘Chain Na Aye’ star shed some light on the upcoming drama serial and said,

“The upcoming serial, titled Seep, is a Seema Tahir production and is being directed by Barkat Siddiqui. Seep is written by Samra Bukhari, the same writer who wrote the Gul-e-Rana masterpiece. That’s part of the reason why I said yes to this play. Samra Bukhari’s plays are simply amazing. Also Barkat Siddiqui is directing after a long time, so it’s a good opportunity to learn from where it comes best.”

When asked of his experience working with Shaista Abbas he was all praises,

“Shaista is a very nice girl. She’s much talented, very educated and down to earth. Its been a wonderful experience sharing screen with her,” 

According to Shahroz, the story revolves around a rich man who lost his wealth, but still doesn’t accept his changed circumstances and continues to treat all others below him. The ‘Teri Raza’ star continued,

“We’re currently working on the scenes and if all goes well, the play is expected to go on air by January 2018,”

Qulfee will go on the floors soon and is expected to release on Eid ul Azha 2020.

In the beginning, Shahroz said, “90 percent of the Pakistani population agrees with her statements. Sadaf was not on gunpoint to give statements in favor of her husband nor she was an oppressed woman, it was just her way to love and respect her husband and that’s what our religion, Allah and His Prophet (SAW) has taught us”.

He further said, “Sadaf’s statements were not digested by 10 percent people in the public and they said that her statement has oppressed the weak women in the society. We live in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and in our country, a woman must be given the respect and honor our religion has taught.”

“If my wife has expressed her love and respect for me, on which 10% public disagreed with her and said, “practice what your preach”, they have resurfaced her old videos and made their own case weak”.

Addressing the public, Shahroz clarifies that “infidelity” was never the cause of his and Syra’s separation.

“I swear by Allah, His Last Prophet and our Holy Quran, that when Syra and I separated back in August 2019, infidelity, cheating or Sadaf Kanwal was never the cause,” says Shahroz claiming he will defend himself and his family till his last breath.

“I met Sadaf after a few months of our separation and she was a colleague till then. Even the last video I made was also based on truth because Syra was still my wife and we were working on reconciling the differences,” added Shahroz further challenging anybody who could prove he cheated on Syra to come forward and say it in front of everyone.

Shahroz also claimed that he never wanted to divorce Syra but he did so because the differences in them couldn’t be resolved. “I never wanted Syra to take khula because it involved a lot of court and paper work so we mutually decided to part ways with dignity,” added the Chain Aaye Na actor.

On an ending note Shahroz added that he was making the video for the sake of his daughter, Nooreh. “After a few years, if my daughter questions me, I will be able to answer her that I had gone on record and challenged anyone who could prove I had cheated on Syra because of a woman and answer her,” said Shahroz.

Shahroz stated that he would protect his family, his wife Sadaf and himself till the last breath as he had decided not to be quiet and challenge anyone who said that he had cheated on Syra to prove it on his face.

Showbiz celebrity couple, Shahroz Sabzwari and Sadaf Kanwal are one of the most loved celebrity couple in town. Shahroz Sabzwari and Sadaf Kanwal tied the knot in May, 2020 in an intimate private family affair, following the latter’s separation with ex-wife, actor Syra Yousuf.

Congratulations are in order for Shahroz Sabzwari and Sadaf Kanwal as the couple welcomed their first child together, a baby girl. Actor Zuhab Khan turned to his official Instagram account to break the news among the audience. “Meri Shehzadi”, wrote Zuhab Khan while sharing an adorable picture of Shahroz Sabzwari with his newly born daughter.

In a very surprising turn of events, it has come to light that Sadaf Kanwal and Shahroz Sabzwari who recently announced their nikkah had actually gotten married one month ago.

The news was confirmed when Sadaf Kanwal shared a picture and it showed that it had been taken a month from now.

Sadaf is seen with the same mehendi in the blue dress as her nikkah pictures.

It is being guessed that when Shahroz’s picture, cycling with Sadaf went viral, the two had already been married.

Whatever the reason or date, its good that Shahroz and Sadaf tied the knot and put end to all speculations. However, it would have been bigger of Shahroz, had he announced his interest in Sadaf back when the controversy actually began. As it is, Syra and he had been separated already (as he stated in the video). It wasn’t a good thing to refer to Sadaf as a friend and then later on negate everything by marrying her.

Shahroz Sabzwari and Sadaf Kanwal have made a happy household for themselves after the two had a very stormy courtship and marriage. The addition of their baby daughter Zahra into their lives started a new chapter for them and people sent a lot of good wishes and blessings to the little one.
