Pakistani politics is a polarizing field with people always standing with their leaders and in some cases even their generations in one way or another. The biggest example of this is late Benazir Bhutto who became the head of her party and then the first female Prime Minister of Pakistan as she was late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s daughter. Her family is a prominent part of Pakistani politics with her husband Asif Ali Zardari becoming the President after her death and her son Bilawal Zardari her party’s chairman. He is currently the Foreign Minister of Pakistan. Benazir Bhutto was also mom to two daughters: Bakhtawar Zardari and Asifa Zardari. The year 2022 can definitely be dubbed as the year of celebrity divorces. Among the couples who parted ways is Feroze Kahn and Syeda Aliza Sultan. The two have had a very ugly separation with accusations of domestic violence on Feroze Khan. They are parents to two kids, Sultan and Fatima and right now there is an ugly custody battle going on between the two. Aliza wants Feroze to pay a certain amount for the maintenance of children while Feroze has not agreed to the terms yet. Firdous Jamal is a veteran actor of Pakistani drama industry and he has been a part of some of the most memorable work that has come out from the drama industry in its four decades. Firdous Jamal is going through a huge health scare as the actor has recently been diagnosed with cancer. His son, actor Hamza Firdous took to his social media where he shared that his father has cancer and requested prayers for the early recovery of his father. The Legend of Maula Jatt is not just a film, it is a phenomenon. After hanging in the balance for several years, the film was finally released in 2022 and it has become the first ever [Pakistani film to cross 200 crores, breaking several records for South Asian films abroad and still shows no signs of slowing down. Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi starrer magnum opus brought back Bilal Lashari’s magic to big screens and people are simple in love.

The film is still ruling the Pakistani cinemas and was a massive hit in several European markets as well as the UK. The hype made the film’s release a demand in India but Pakistani films are banned from releasing there while Indian films are banned from largely releasing in Pakistan. There have been a few exceptions as a few films from Indian Punjab have released here and now The Legend of Maula Jatt is going to release in Indian Punjab and Delhi despite the bans.

This is definitely a treat for all Fawad Khan fans across the border who was banned from working there by Hindu extremists a few years ago. A recent order by Delhi court has for the time being suspended the release of the film in the capital though. Drama serial Wehshi is a Hum Television soap serial which has been produced by Momina Duraid under the banner of MD Productions, the drama is directed by ace director Iqbal Hussain. The drama has been written by Shumaila Zaki. The series stars Khushhal Khan, Komal Meer, Subhan Awan, Nadia Khan, Babar Ali, Madiha Rizvi and many other actors.

Well, the story of the drama revolved around a guy who became victim of child abuse in his early life. The drama features his complexed behaviour towards others. Today, the last episode of the drama aired on Hum television network. Viewers didn’t like the ending of the drama because Asif divorced his wife for Sobia but Sobia refused to marry him. Fans didn’t like Asif’s hasty decision of divorce. Viewers felt sad for Sadaf who used to love Asif but had to face loneliness in the end. Well, fans didn’t like Sobia’s double game with two guys. However, many fans said that the character of Asif was the real depiction of the title Wehshi. Fans said that the drama was good but the end was truly messed up, a few fans said that they changed the ending of the drama as it is different and worst than the novel’s ending. In the recent T-20 World Cup, Zimbabwe vs Pakistan went on to become a big match as Zimbabweans accused Pakistanis of sending them a fake Mr Bean for some event of theirs. The news became huge and went on to receive a lot of international traction. Later on when Zimbabwe beat Pakistan, it became a sensation as the President of Zimbabwe and the Prime Minister of Pakistan were also discussing the whole Mr bean scenario. Here is Pakistani Mr Bean in Zimbabwe and what followed:

Waseem Badami got in touch with our own local Mr Bean and he shared what his journey is. He said that he used to work in the textile industry but as things with business went down, his friends suggested him to become Mr Bean as he resembled the real Mr Bean Rowan Atkinson a lot.

That is when he started picking up on the act by which watching the original series as he did not even know who Mr Bean was at that time.

He then went on to reveal that he was actually invited by an Indian origin businessman in Zimbabwe and he was marketed there as the Pakistani Mr Bean but as soon as he arrived there, he was given world class security and protocol. Those who had not seen the advertisements thought he was probably the original Mr Bean and were therefore angry.

Pakistani Mr Bean now works in the property sector and does these events and shows as his bread and butter. This is how his journey went and his brush with Zimbabweans:
