Following how Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide, there has been an uproar in the industry across the border. Sushant was deemed as a lively person but as reports suggest, he had been depressed for sometime now.
Sushant’s death has now sparked a debate in Pakistan as well. However, it is a good thing to see our celebrities taking an initiative and calling out to everyone who needs help with depression or anxiety.

Nadia Khan is a renowned Pakistani television host and actor who often makes headlines for her morning show Rise and Shine, where she called out Talha Anjum for waving the Indian flag during his concert in Nepal. Not only this, she invited Talha Anjum to her show and held him accountable for an act that hurt the sentiments of the majority of the Pakistani nation. Talha Anjum, on the other hand, admitted his mistake and apologized. Social media users praised Nadia Khan, while Talha’s fans and friends defended him.

Celebrities have been on the receiving end of online harassment and bullying, with details of their private lives being made public and assumptions circulated in order to humiliate them, for years. The most recent actor to get caught up in a web of trolls was Hania Aamir, with the barrage of hate spiraling into a very public spat between her and ex Asim Azhar.
In a surprising and honestly quite unnecessary turn of events, singer Asim Azhar took this opportunity to post a cryptic tweet on social media. People were quick to figure out that the gif was a jab at ex Hania Aamir who was on the receiving end of a lot of hate. Replying to Asim Azhar Hania said “You can either be a celebrity, or a bitter ex with no dignity.” This did not sit well with Asim who has never publicly spoken about their relationship and breakup, despite being on the receiving end of mocking jokes and jabs. In a retaliatory message, Asim was quick to remind Hania of the time he was on the receiving end of trolling after their breakup.

Sardaar Ji 3 is an Indian Punjabi movie which has been scheduled to release on 27th June 2025. The film features a stellar cast, including Diljit Dosanjh, Neeru Bajwa, Hania Aamir, Nasir Chinioti, and other popular Indian Punjabi actors. The film isn’t releasing in India due to the presence of Pakistani actors in it. Hania Aamir is playing one of the main leads in the movie. Indian actors, news anchors and people are angry at Diljit Dosanjh for his bold decision of releasing the movie worldwide but Pakistani celebrities are supporting his decision and the release of Sardaar Ji 3 in Pakistan.
Yasir Hussain expressed his happiness on the the release on the film. He wrote, “Bajaey India Janey Ke Yeh Larki Neeru Bajwa or Diljit Dosanjh KO Pakistan Le Ai he – Instead of going to India, this girl brought Neeru Bajwa and Diljit Dosanjh to Pakistan. PTV is the oldest channel in the country. There was a time that Pakistanis only had the national channel for entertainment as well as news. All the dramas used to air from PTV and it had the monopoly over all the work in the industry. This also explains the reverence old Pakistani actors and actresses still hold for their old channel. Corona Virus is not taking any break. Right now Corona Virus has affected more than 4500 people in Pakistan and number of casualties have raised from 60. Iqra and Yasir made a protective suit altogether and they persuaded that its time to do something practically and everyone must stitch such suits in their houses to help doctors and paramedical staff.

An unfortunate event in Indian state Kerala took place in which an ill-fated plane carrying 191 passengers crashed at an airport in the southern state of Kerala. The plane crashed on its way back from Dubai.
The plane was taking the Indians who were stuck in Dubai due to Covid-19 back to their country. According to the news till now 18 peoples have died including the two pilots where as dozens are injured.

We are hearing people committing suicides due to the incendary bills thrown at them this month while many cities are blocked and witnessing massive protests against electricity prices. The average unit price has reached nearly 60 rupees and it will reach up to 90 rupees if the reports are to be believed. People cannot afford food or to pay their bills anymore and life is getting more and more difficult for everyone.
The electricity prices have become sky high due to the IPP projects of the previous government and now with the IMF deal and economic mismanagement, even the most privileged are crying and are not able to easily afford the tariffs. Sadia Imam shared that her electricity bill was 67000 and she has now converted her house to solar energy as the prices are insane. She still got a 19000 bill after converting her house to solar.
Nida Yasir revealed that she was not at her home for half a month as the whoel famil went for vacations and she still got 1 lakh rupees bill. Now, she is trying to control the energy consumption as much as she can and even converting to solar is difficult as it is very expensive.
