Floods in Pakistan have caused widespread devastation. Recent cloudbursts in Buner, Swabi, Kashmir, Khushab, and other cities triggered massive flash floods in several areas of Swat. This year, five Pakistani films were released on Eid UL Fitr. All the film makers of Pakistan had higher hopes and expectations from the public and some how they managed to pull people towards cinema. Ghabrana Nahi Hai and Dam Mastam collected decent revenew on their first three days. Film makers were also amused that movies were smoothly running in the cinema but an international release “Dr Strange” came and affected local films. Dr Strange was released on 6th May after which all the Pakistani movies were taken down without any notice and information.

All the film makers are of the view that the international film could have been released with short delay or at least cinema owners should have not taken down Pakistani “New Releases”, that too on the fourth day of their release.
