The propaganda was rampant but it helped the lead star Ranveer Singh revive his career. Mera Lyari was termed as an answer to that propaganda. The movie was supposed to show the real face of Lyari. People are now sharing their opinions on the movie and whether is it a hit or a miss.

His entire day was spent in busy schedules, and thousands of people come to meet him daily. Sometimes, due to sheer exhaustion, such things happen. This certainly does not mean he had any ill intent toward the child or that he is arrogant. The child belonged to our madrassa, and Maulana meets these children on a daily basis.
