The Pantene Bridal Couture Week this year has been one of the most starlit nights with some of the biggest brands showcasing their best designs. The second day of the Bridal Couture Week was just as impressive and eventful as the first one. Some of the most known celebrities were seen looking breathtaking on this second day. Reema Khan and Saba Qamar’s overall look was a clear winner on this second day. Both of them wore heavy bridal outfits and they carried them with great confidence. Zaid Ali was also seen walking the ramp as showstopper with his wife Yumna Zaidi. Urwa Hocane and Hira Mani were also among some of the big names seen on this second day.

It’s that time of the year again when Pakistanis are busy in weddings which bring with them a whole new influx of fashion trends and glamour ideas. In the bling of the season, Pantene Bridal Couture week started from the 8th of December. It was a star studded affair with all the designers putting their best foot forward. These are some of celebrities who stole the show.

Team Arth 2 were the show stoppers for Fahd Hussayn. Shan and Mohib Mirza wore short black sherwanis while Humaima Malick wore a pink and gold gown and Uzma Hassan was stunning in maroon and gold traditional lehnga.

Mifrah’s collection has all the muted shades includes peaches and golds and were presented by models Cybil Chowdhry, Sadaf Kanwal, Saheefa and Sunita Marshal.

Showstopper for Reema Ahsan, Mira Sethi stunned in a luxurious plum lehnga and golden shirt that was heavily embellished. All her models were adorned in deep dark colours.

Humayun Alamgir presented a collection called “Poshak” which was full of dark velvet sherwanis. Bilal Abbas Khan walked the ramp for him in a deep red velvet sherwani.

Sajal Aly walked the ramp for Mohsin Ranjha. His collection was called “Gulab Sandesh” and  Sajal was beautiful in a mint blue short peplum  shirt and double layered flared lehnga.

The beautiful makeup for all the models was done by Team Nabila. It graviatated towards sheer base, highlighted skin, golden eyes and pink lips. Jewellery pieces were by Hamna Amir and included beautiful heavy birdal pieces.

First day’s collections were all gorgeous and we are excited to see what comes in the next two days.

Bridal Couture Week 2018 started at a high note with some of the biggest celebrities walking on the ramp for the most well-known designers. The collections and the overall environment of the show was simply amazing. This first day was one of the biggest opening in the past few years. Famous celebrities like Bushra Ansari, Ahsan Khan, Sonya Hussyn, Kubran Khan and many others dazzled on the ramp. Ayeza Khan and Mawra Hocane were also seem looking gorgeous in fancy bridal outfits designed by the best designers.

Shahid Afridi usually stays in the lime light. Lately a controversy has surfaced between Shahid Afridi and Pakistani cricket, Javed Miandad.

The series of argument started when Javed Miandad made a comment regarding Afridi’s desire for a farewell match. Miandad said “Afridi is always after money’. While answering Miandad’s comment Afridi said, “Money has always been an issue with Miandad. That is the difference between him and Imran Khan”.

A young Pakistani boy Ahmed Ali Riaz is coming today with an inspirational story that how young you may be, you can still stand for justice and what is right. The young lad was coming home on his bicycle after attending his after school tuitions and saw something happening in the street. Robbers were running away stealing a bike in broad day light.

A student of 8th class, Ahmed decided that he would hit the bike they were robbing with his bicycle when they come near him and that is what he did while other people in the street were scared to do something. He hit the robbers and ran behind them.

This act of bravery was the reason police caught the robbers. Police from Ahmed’s area have announced a reward for his bravery while the local residents have bought a new cycle for him.

1. Hazrat Fatima Bint e Muhammad RA:

Hazrat Fatima RA, Khatoon e Jannat was the mother of Imam e Hassan and Imam e Hussain. Though long gone before the tragedy of Karbala, she instilled the true teachings of Islam in the hearts of her brave sons.

2. Hazrat Zainab Bint e Ali RA:

The daughter of Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Fatima, the brave sister of a brave brother Hussain ibn e Ali, Syeda Zainab’s stpry is the story of standing against Baatil when all odds were against her, courage, valour and belief. She immortalized the tragedy of Karbala. She single handedly destroyed Yazid’s power with her voice. She would gather people and lament the message of Hussain. She kept the message of Hussain, the message of truth alive. May Peace Be Upon Her!

3. Hazrat Umm e Kulsum RA (Zainab Sughra):

The younger daughter of Hazrat Ali, sister of Imam e Hussain. She is known for her strong eulogy ad condemning the people of Kufa for abandoning her brother during the battle which led to his Shahadat.

4.Hazrat Fatima Kubra RA:

The daughter of Hussain RA who married Hassan e Muthana, the son of Imam e Hassan to fulfil a promise she made to her father.

5. Hazrat Fatima Sughra RA:

Daughter of Imam e Hussain who could not travel with her family due to ill-health and was left waiting in Madinah for their safe arrival, a day that never came.

6. Hazrat Sakina Bint e Hussain RA:

The 4 year old daughter of Imam e Hussain would run into the battle field to find the body of her father as she could never sleep without placing her little head on her father’s chest. The pain she went through and the tale of her shahadat is enough to awaken the pain felt by Muslim children living in apartheid today. She was the most beloved daughter of Imam e Hussain.

7. Hazrat Umm ul Baneen RA:

The wife of Hazrat Ali RA, mother of Hazrat Abbas RA, brother and commander in chief of Imam e Hussain. Hazrat Umm ul Baneen raised her son with a soul objective, to live and die for Hussain.

8. Hazrat Umme Farwa RA:

Hazrat Umm e Farwa was the wife of Imam e Hassan, the elder brother of Imam e Hussain and mother of Qasim RA, the young martyr of Karbala. She always wanted to see her son get married but the fate had other plans and he was martyred in the battlefield of Karbala.

9. Hazrat Umm e Layla RA:

The wife of Imam e Hussain and mother of Ali Akbar RA, she prepared her 18 year old son to send him to the battle field knowing he will not come back alive. Ali Akbar was loved by everyone due to his uncanny resemblance with his great grandfather Hazrat Muhammad SAW.

10. Hazrat Umm e Rabab RA:

The wife of Imam e Hussain and mother to Ali Asghar, a 6 month old child who is also named by the name of Abdullah. She handed her child to Imam e Hussain knowing he won’t return alive.

These are the brave women of Karbala whom we should all know and follow. They stood shoulder to shoulder with their men when they were killed in front of their eyes and it is them who told the world what happened in Karbala. It is them who kept Hussainiyat alive even when he was no more. May peace be upon the Ahl e Bait and may we all learn their faith in Allah, bravery to stand with the right and resilience.

On 18th of July a sad incident occurred in DHA Lahore, where two unidentified persons kidnapped a female who was an advocate by profession in broad daylight. The video circulating on social media shows the woman walking towards the parking lot when those men came and forcefully took over the driving seat and drove the car along with the woman. Luckily, the woman manage to escape the kidnapping but the thieves took her car and other valuable stuff.

Recently, the woman who escaped kidnapping appeared in an interview with ARY News Morning Show “Bakhabar Savera” and narrated the entire story. The girls while sharing the story, mentioned that “I was just going to lock the doors of my car when they suddenly opened the door and sat in my car. I tried to scream but the person sitting on the front seat grabbed my neck and just pushed me on the back seat. They tortured for almost 40 to 50 minutes.”

“Somehow, I managed to call my husband. I had my cell so I quickly sent my husband the live location. They suspected that I had called someone and someone is coming after them so what they did was they blindfold my face with my own scarf and threw me out of the car” added the victim.

She further added that “I’m so terrified that weeks have passed away but still I’m not able to sit in car, I’m not able to go to DHA. I’m not able to sleep since last two weeks due to this trauma.”

The woman while expressing her dissatisfaction over the investigation, stated that “I’m dissatisfied with the investigation and the behavior of police. It’s been a long time they haven’t approached us for any kind of information.”

“The reason why I shared this trauma with audience is that this incident took place in DHA which is called as one of the safest area of the city but where is this country heading to? Because of this fear should woman stop leaving their house for any kind of work, should the girls stop going to school or colleges?”, she concluded.

However, Zara has not released any statement regarding their campaign till now!

There’s been growing anticipation for musician Hamza Jafri’s new project, Braadri Broadcast, a compilation of 10 fusion tracks featuring 15 artistes from all over Pakistan.

After a launch event on Monday night, Braadri Orchestra’s first single was released online.The video “Karma Walay” is a fusion of Punjabi folk and Urdu ghazal,featuring vocals by Sarfraz Ali, Akram Khan and Zarnab Rashid and lyrics by Tauqeer Chugtai.The Rest of Braadri Orchestra’s 10 original tracks will release through the course of the next year.

The main composer and music director for the project Bradaari Orchestra is Akram Raja, the videos have been produced by Rola, audio recorded by Bilal Nasir Khan and costumes designed by Yousuf Bashir Qureshi. Hamza’s band member from Co-VEN and Coke Studio percussionist Sikandar Mufti is the tech head and creative associate.Nida Butt is the creative director of the project.

In an earlier interview with Images, Hamza said,“There is all this East-West fusion music happening, but no cross-ethnic fusion. Pakistan has such rich musical traditions from its provinces. It would be amazing to create a fusion between them, such as mixing Punjabi folk with Balochi, Sindhi with Urdu, Pashto with Shina, and so on.”

The boy then being the nicest ex of this world ordered pizza for the girl that too of her own choice with some extra ketchup.

Boy asked girl not to pay for the order as he has already paid for it through his credit card.

This is where the whole story took a new turn. Everything was going great until the rider arrived and asked for money.

The boy also shared the screenshots of the food he has ordered. He ordered bulk of food costing rupees 13 thousand and then he blocked the girl.
