She has loved Maqsood all her life but just because she realizes that he has a life of his own, she feels burdened being around him. Sakina has never denied loving Maqsood yet at this stage of her life, she is still in a denial. Hadiqa Kiyani’s portrayal of Sakina is so measured that actually makes you feel her pain.

He knows that his children and tribe look up to him therefore no matter how hurt he is with the betrayal of his brother, he always takes the higher road. You understand why Ertugrul has such strong values looking at how resilient Suleyman Shah is when faced with hardship. He never lets his anger gets the best of him.

Suleyman Shah sense that his younger son Gundogdu felt insecure and unworthy, instead of giving him a lecture, he decided to give him responsibilities which he would usually trust Ertugrul with. He made him feel secure and loved even though he was clearly disappointed in him. There are times when you wish that Suleyman Shah wouldn’t be so forgiving especially when it comes to his brother. But then that is what makes him a better person, someone you truly end up looking up to.

While watching the series Suleyman Shah continues to be the most impressive character. His wisdom often surprises you and you understand how he managed to rule for all these years while keeping his values intact. Serdar Gokhan has played this multilayered character in the best way possible. The soft and gentle expressions on his face always make you root for Suleyman Shah and side with him even when you feel that he is being a little too flexible.

Hayma Khatun

Hayma Khatun is a strong and balanced female character. She has a gentle side but at the same time, there have been so many times when she has been able to see through people the way her husband Suleman Shah couldn’t. A really wise ruler, courageous leader, a supporting wife with a vision, and a supportive mother, Hayma Khatun continues to be a powerful character in the series.

Just like the men in her tribe, she is shown taking up many different roles and excelling in all of them. Apart from all her other duties, she also manages the business run by women in the tribe. Deli Dameer

Dameer’s role in the series has been vital right from the beginning. He is not just a goldsmith who makes the best weapons but most importantly, he is a loyal friend to Suleman Shah, a mentor to the alps and also someone who is there to guide Suleman Shah’s sons whenever they feel disillusioned. Dameer is also a really wise character. He is sensitive at the same time. His back story is being revealed as the story progresses. This back story definitely makes you fall in love with his character even more.

Dameer’s constant support for Suleman Shah is one of the best aspects of his personality and character. His relationship with his daughter shows what a caring and loving father he is. Dameer has a big heart and a human side which makes him even more appealing. He knows how to differentiate between friends and foes. With years of experience behind him, the advice he gives those he wants to guide sometimes prove to be game-changing.

Mehmet Çevik’s superb performance throughout definitely adds to the appeal of a character which is truly marvelous in more ways than one.

Ibn Arabi

Ibn Arabi is the kind of character which guides not only the characters in the series but in many ways the viewers too. The writer and the actor have done complete justice to this epic character which represents the actual personality of Ibn Arabi with utmost precision. Osman Soykut, the actor who is playing Ibn Arabi’s character in the drama, has an off-screen persona which is quite different from the way he translated his character on-screen. Translating a historic character like this one must have been a huge responsibility and he has proven that he was most suitable for doing so.

Halima Sultan

Halima Sultan is even more likable because Esra Bilgiç’s on-screen persona is really appealing. Halima Sultan proved from the beginning that even in captivity she was not afraid of questioning her captors. She is brave as well as skilled in many ways. Without her character, we wouldn’t have seen the romantic side of Ertugrul. Even though she loves Ertugrul but she refuses to leave her brother and father to live a comfortable life with someone she loves. This goes to show that she is a really strong woman who is not afraid of fighting battles alongside the men.

Halima Sultan saved Ertugrul’s life and for now, it remains to be seen where her track will go from here. You root for Halima and Ertugrul and want to see them together.

Bamsi

Bamsi is one of Ertugrul’s three alps. Although all these three alps are extremely likable because they are fearless, experts at what they do and completely loyal to Ertugrul but Bamsi’s character is especially interesting since he adds a comic element to the series. He is the strongest of all the alps, he fights with not one but two swords. But, most of the time he does not even need a sword to kill his enemies but at the same time, he has a child-like personality. He loves to fight and when he finds no one else to fight with Dogan is the one who is always willing to help him practice his fighting skills. Their fights add light-heartedness to even the most serious scenes.

Nurettin Sönmez is so well-suited for Bamsi’s character. He brings out Bamsi’s strength and also his angry outbursts brilliantly on screen. He does especially well with highlighting Bamsi’s innocent side.

Shahabuddin

Shahabuddin joined the series after a few episodes had already gone on air and he is not faultless but there are many reasons why he is likable. He tries his best to guide his nephew and even after getting tired of doing so, he returns to his duties when Ibn Arabi asks him to do so. He makes a few mistakes because of which he is lured into a trap and he ends up paying a price for it. As the story progresses, he becomes more aware of the mistakes he has made and he does not bow down to all the pressure.

Even with his flaws, you find yourself rooting for Shahabuddin and hope that one day he will be out of prison. His track is interesting since it keeps you intrigued and wondering if Al-Aziz will ever see things for what they are. Gökhan Atalay owns these characters completely. Pakistani Award Shows are generally a mix of ups and downs. There are always triumphs for fans when their favourite stars win and many get disappointed either by categories or how the stars performed or if the attendance is not as starry as they wanted it to be. Hum Awards 2024 took place last night in London this time. Many big names were seen in attendance and awards for the years 2022-2023 were distributed. Fashion is an integral part of such shows and celebrities bring their A-game to the red carpet when they arrive. Here is a list of Best & Worst dressed celebrities at Hum Awards 2024:

Best Dressed Celebrities

Mahira Khan

Mahira Khan brought the old Hollywood glam to Hum Awards. She chose a beautiful Faraz Manan gown in champagne colour. With natural makeup and big, poofy hair, Mahira Khan looked perect. She later also had to perform on the show but the star really showed her style and she definitely knows what works in an award show.

Hania Aamir

Hania Aamir chanelled her inner Barbie for Hum Awards 2024. She wore a beautiful, fitted pink gown. Her makeup and hair perfectly complimented her look. Hania looked ethereal and she is definitely a winner at this year’s Hum Awards.

Sehar Khan

Sehar Khan opted for a mermaid style gown in green and she did well despite not being too old on these award shows. he was able to carry her outfit well and if we can remove the neckpiece, she would be perfect.

Dananeer Mobeen

Dananeer Mobeen wore a white gown inspired by her Pushtoon roots. The dress looked like a mixture of ethnic Pushtoon wear and a western gown. She looked beautiful in white and her makeup looked perfect with the dress.

Urwa Hocane & Farhan Saeed

Farhan Saeed performed at the Hum Awards 2024 and he unlike all his male colleagues experimented with his style. He chose a white outfit with some quirky styling and statement shoes. He got noticed and he looked good. Urwa Hocane wore a royal blue angrakha that many could think looks a bit like shaadi wear. But Urwa is a new mom and she is still on her fitness journey thus she chose what she will feel comfortable in. They also revealed Baby Aara’s face and this family looked gorgeous.

Sami Khan went out of his comfort zone this time. He chose to wear all black but not a simple suit. A black suit is what generally all men opt for and it becomes difficult to tell them apart sometimes. Sami chose to wear a coat style achkin paired with tailored slacks. With the visuals that have come out, the fit may have been a bit better but he was definitely one of the best dressed celebrities at this Hum Awards.

Javed Sheikh

Javed Sheikh is a veteran of Pakistani entertainment industry. He has always been known for wearing the best outfits, something that his brother-in-law and closest friend Behroze Sabzwari always talks about and he once again showed that he is among the most dapper men of tgis industry even if you gather all the nation’s heartthrobs under one roof.

Bushra Ansari loves to dress up and she always says that she wears what she likes. People have judged her style sense in the past but she never gets bothered and does her thing. She chose a beautiful black and gold saaree with big hair, glamourous makeup and bangles for Hum Awards 2024. Everything looked good on her and she has landed a spot on the Best Dressed List.

Asif Raza Mir

Asif Raza Mir made his television comeback with Jhok Sarkar and he won an award foe it. He came looking like his usual dapper self and he is showing the boys how it is done. He looked elegant and handsome in his suit as he came to receive his award.

Ramsha Khan-Saree Look

Ramsha Khan chose to wear a silver saaree for one of her looks on stage and she looked fabulous. With no jewellery and glamorous hair and makeup, Ramsha is definitely winning in this one. Her other look was not up to par but this one manages to get an applause.

Though Hum Awards 2024 did not see many disasters fashion-wise, some still managed to land on the Worst Dressed List.

Hiba Bukhari

Hiba Bukhari is expecting and it is her choice to wear what she wants. So, after getting this out of the way, Hiba is also one of the biggest stars in the country and her stylist did her dirty. She was wearing a gown with a middle cut-out which obviously looked ill-fitted as Hiba is expecting. It also looked bunched up from back and side and the fitting as well as the colour did nothing for Hiba. She is gorgeous and she has that glow about her right now. A star as big as Hiba should have been given better options to choose from especially while she made such a big announcement.

Mamya Shajaffar

Mamya Shajaffar is a new entrant in the industry and she is already making waves. She is not just beautiful but also confident. She can probably make a burlap sack work but this gown is doing nothing for her. It just looked incomplete and the colour is not complimenting her either.

Ramsha Khan

Ramsha won with the saaree but this gown did not do much for her. It just looked like something pulled off a rack and a lot too costume-like and not very red-carpet worthy.

Mawra Hocane

Mawra Hocane took home the biggest trophy of the night but she did not do much for her look at Hum Awards. In a white outfit with hair and makeup that did not suit her at all, Mawra unfortunately landed on the worst dressed list. She is a beautiful woman and she looks way better without makeup than she did in this full glam.
