The shooting for the upcoming Pakistani film Two + Two is already half way and the film is all set to be released in year 2016. Ayesha Omer will be playing a cameo role in the film. The pictures from the sets suggest that Ayesha Omer might be doing a dance number in the film but it is not going to be an item number because the film is being promoted as one which is against item numbers. Stars like Saleem Mairaj, Urwa Hocane, Babra Sharif, Mustafa Qureshi and Ali Azmat will also be seen in the film. the film was titled Jhol initially.
The producer of the film Hamza Ansari while giving an interview said that there will be no item numbers in the film. He also said that there will be remixes of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s songs in the film to give it a different touch. He said,
“We have gone totally experimental in the song’s dramatics and design.”

Narrated as a “love story with a twist,” Rehbara is Amin Iqbal’s first project as a film director. Counted among the top directors of the Pakistani drama industry, his debut on the silver screen was a much-welcomed project when the film was announced back in 2016.
Starring Ahsan Khan and Ayesha Omar as leads, the movie started its shooting after the announcement and was due to release last year.
Although the news regarding the ‘near-completion’ status of the film did float around, and that too with the film’s posters, but there was a complete silence afterward and no sign whatsoever of the promised release in 2018.

Under a picture in which Ayesha Omar is posing at Lux Style Awards wearing a local label run by two women, a social media user commented, “If she is promoting women to expose of their body (via such clothes), then that surely is not ‘women empowerment’.”
Responding to the comment, Ayesha wrote, “I’m definitely not promoting/ asking/urging women to expose their bodies. That is their own choice as wearing this dress was mine. As wearing whatever you want is yours.” Commenting on her outfit, Ayesha said, “This dress was sent to me as it is. I had no input in the design, length, structure or type of dress they were making for me. They only asked for my size. They contacted me themselves and sent me this outfit in June.” “I wasn’t paid to wear or promote it either and was waiting for an appropriate opportunity to wear it.

On her equation with the director she said, “Khalil Sahab may have a reputation for being a tough taskmaster on the sets, but to me he is an institution to work with. Yes, he can be extremely tough with unprofessional people but for the most part, he is full of knowledge and expertise, he knows his script, characters and most importantly, his craft. He brings out a creatively-enriching feeling in me as an actor. The way he pushes you and challenges you, you just let him guide you. It was surprising that Khalil sahib and I were always on the same page. He used to call me “Cheeti” as I was quick to perceive his vision. The actor was on her way to a clothing brand’s store launch, which she says she only agreed to attend because of her good friends Azfar and actor-VJ Anoushey Ashraf who were also invited. Ayesha and fellow actor Azfar Rehman were travelling to Hyderabad from Karachi when, in an attempt to avoid collision with an oncoming trailer truck, their car was hit by another truck from behind before it went on to hit the oncoming truck anyway.
Ayesha broke her collar bone. She was in so much pain and could barely move. The police had arrived but there was no sign of an ambulance, Azfar convinced them to take me to a hospital in the police car,I was crying from the pain, says Ayesha Omer. Ayesha was taken to a government hospital, which, she said, was essentially a run-down clinic with no facilities.
If there is one thing Ayesha learnt from her near-death experience, it is to have faith. Have faith in God and everything will fall into place, she says. You don’t have to worry about anything. God will take care of you.
