Another biggest mistake of Meerab was to attend the call of her class fellow Rohail and going to his apartment alone. Meerab’s last mistake is horrendous when she took side of Maryam and helped her in running away from home, just a day before her wedding. She sent her with Anas (Malik Zubair) who was on a mission to disgrace Murtasim’s family ladies. Meerab is continuously being selfish, stubborn, rebiliious, disobedient and thankless human being on earth who is inviting countless troubles for her husband who loves him selflessly.
Haya from Tere Bin
Tere Bin’s Haya, played by Sabeena Farooq, is the most negative character on television. She is paying the character of an orphan child who lives in her aunty’s (mother’s sister) house after the death of her parents. As a young adopted child, her thankless behaviour towards the guardians is disturbing . She lives in her aunt’s house and has kept her eyes on her son, shown as an obsessed lover of Murtasim, she thinks it’s her right to be with Murtasim all the time or anytime. Haya can go in Murtasim’s room at any hour of the day even after his marriage. She can even go to the village with him for countless days and she’s allowed to do that. Haya also indulges in black magic practices to fetch her love Murtasim. She’s plotting against Meerab, she’s hating Meerab, she’s refusing from marriage by plotting against Maryam. Haya is the most obnoxious character found on the television.
Huriya from Agar
Huriya from Agar, played by Hina Altaf, is a girl who became a widow at a very young age. In the drama, she was forced to remarry but she could not forget her first husband, well, her second husband’s average looks and normal financial status could not win Huriya’s heart. Huriya rejected her second husband and came back to her home. Huriya is now keeping an eye on her sister Ainee’s husband after developing a soft side for her brother in law because he’s rich and good looking. Huriya is a selfish and mindless character, who despite being married, is thinking about marrying another man. Huriya’s character is disturbing the audiences and they are saying that she’s setting a bad example of thinking about other man being in the nikah of Meheryar.
Mariyam from Tere Bin
Mariyam, played by Hira Soomro, is a young girl’s character who is rich, dignified and a sensible girl, she is doing masters and you will always find her with books. Maryam wears decent dresses and prefers to cover her head all the time. She is a loving sister in law and protects Meerab as well but there is another side of Maryam which is opposite to her portrayal of a decent girl. In reality, Maryam has an affair with a young guy Anas, not only this, she often invites Anas in her house during night for meetups. In the recent episode, Maryam ran away with Anas, not knowing he is her family’s enemy and was on a mission to destroy her. Audiences are angry on Maryam, they are saying that she has been the most disgraceful character because she pretended to be an obedient and decent girl but did all the wrongdoings under the cover.
Haya From Hook
Haya from Hook, played by Kinza Hashmi, is a young girl’s character who is clueless about her life. Well, Haya was forced to marry an older guy Jaffer because she was responsible of the death of Jaffer’s younger brother (played by Shahroz Sabzwari). Jaffer kidnapped Haya and she was abandoned by her family. Haya had the chance to marry her lover but she preferred a forced marriage with Jaffer. Haya marrying Jaffer, was totally an unacceptable thing because he was already a married man. Jaffer’s family was also not happy from this marriage. He threw her in another room after Nikah. Haya accepted the man who abducted her and now her purpose of life has changed, her life’s sole purpose is to be an obedient wife to an old married guy who forcefully married her. Haya has now forgotten her past, her family and her love and seems to be invested in a place where she is hardly fitting in.
Farah From Mere Ban Jao
Farah from Mere Ban Jao, played by Mehrunnisa, is a beautiful and young girl who is Fardeen’s first cousin. She loves Fardeen and marrying Fardeen after his horrible treatment with Azmia. Yes, Wahaj Ali is handsome and talented and these qualities are helping him play his role as Murtasim in the blockbuster drama Tere Bin. But let’s talk about the Khan of the village, Khan Murtasim Khan and his being showcased as the biggest phenomenon in his universe. The entry of the character was phenomenal. The whole fandom was in awe of the strength and stubbornness shown by the character. They again loved the way he fell in love with his lady love Meerab played by Yumna Zaidi. The drama is progressing and now we think that he may not be the KHAN that the makers wanted him to look like and maybe the man lacks basic self-respect.
There have been many instances when Murtasim was shown not having the sought of self-respect a feudal and angry guy like him should have and it just does not make any sense now. Yes, there have been instances when he was slapping Meerab or asked her to jump off the roof and those were also out of character as Murtasim is not a cruel man but he still should have that self-respect which he lacks and here is the evidence:
Cannot Take A Stand For Himself:
Murtasim cannot speak for himself. He was married off to a girl he did not want to marry which now seems to like was a good idea on his part. He was asked to become the “gaddinasheen” and abandon his real passion which he did. He is always getting told off by other his mother or his wife and frankly never speaks for himself.
Signed A Weirdo Contract:
We respect Murtasim for always respecting the consent or the lack of it from his wife but why was he marrying a girl who was asking him to sign such a frivolous contract to not consummate their marriage? Though it was shown that he would do it to maintain his “izzat” but he kind of went against his own izzat when he signed it despite being in a powerful position.
Meerab Never Respects His Decisions:
Many would say that Murtasim can be more forthcoming with Meerab but the man is never reciprocated from the other side so why would he? And then his wife went on and defied him in front of a whole panchayat and he just takes it. I mean wasn’t he Khan Murtasim Khan? Then she went on and got kidnapped just because she cannot listen to his advice and stayed in the car in a very deserted area.
His Wife’s Communication With Her Ex-Friend:
Meerab now knows that her friend was in love with her and she still meets him, talks to him and even went to his house (She could have stopped him from dragging her to his flat) and when confronted she says she has done nothing wrong. Murtasim on the other hand is just looking miserable and doing some aerial firing because the man has no self-respect and cannot accept separation from the lady who does not want him. No need for violence but man! Just say enough is enough.
Always Begging For Love:
Anyone who has watched even a single episode of Tere Bin can not understand why Murtasim fell so fiercely in love with Meerab. She is pretty but that is where the attraction should end. But he is in full Ranjha mode and he is always begging for her love and affection which she may not have inside her as is evident by her actions.
Meerab Made His Sister Elope:
Planning a whole elopement for Murtasim’s sister and not being even sorry about it is wrong of Meerab. Everyone in this scenario is at fault from different points of view but Meerab simply tried to destroy her husband and sent her sister-in-law with a man she does not know. A man who has not shown enough courage to come forward and is only meeting them in the shadows. But Murtsaim’s self-respect is still dead as the man does not show half the reaction he did when his wife was kidnapped. He is still cozying up to Meerab who tried to destroy him and his family.
In short, Murtasim is just another Saad with more money and a bigger moustache at this point and he needs to do more if he is Khan Murtasim Khan!
Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha started with the virality of its title song and a male lead character who people were dying for. Saad played by Wahaj Ali is soft, caring, loving and most of all respectful. Yes, these are traits that should be normal in dramas but unfortunately, it was unique to watch such a character on our screens. The drama had both Wahaj Ali and Hania Aamir, tbh a fail-proof combo for any drama right now but it still managed to go south with the story being so crazy that people are getting annoyed.
Maheer is always crying whenever you tune into the drama, Areeb is always in the hospital for whatever reason and then there is the beloved Saad making himself miserable for thankless people over and over again. All parents are crazy in their own right with Salma Hassan’s character being the craziest.

The leading cast includes Hiba Bukhari, Usama Khan, Zaviyar Nauman and Yashma Gill. The first episode of the drama has steadily managed to get 3.2 million views. Well, the fans seems to be a bit critical about the drama, firstly, they criticized the show for having a similar story like the drama serial Mujhey Pyaar Hua Tha.
