Many know how good of an actress Laila is but not a lot of people know that this talented actress suffered from a very rare type of Leukemia about 10 years ago.
In a recent show, Laila, shared her ordeal and fight with AML, a rare form of Leukemia and how she emerged as a survivor.
“I was diagnosed with AML back in the US, ten years ago. My blood count had dropped significantly and I was lifted to John Hopkins where I was told that my Lukemia was very rare and that I would go through chemotherapy and radiation,” shared Laila.
Adding further, Laila stated, “I needed bone marrow transplant but none of my siblings matched. However I was grateful to find 19 donors internationally. But my body didn’t accept the blood and I fell further and very critically ill after the transfusion.”
Laila narrated her tale of being put on steroids to battle the disease and then losing her bone strength because of which she had to get hip and knee replacements done.
During the course of her critical treatment, Laila also lost her parents but she didn’t lose hope. Laila also shared that her husband had been her biggest support during her treatment and had helped her cope up with life like a true life partner.
News recently went ripe that actress Sumbul Iqbal Khan had been in a live in relationship with a married man. Sumbul was termed a home wrecker as her relationship with Nadeem Kiani turned out to be illicit and his children blamed the actress for snatching away their father.
Earlier daughter of Nadeem Kiyani also voiced her concerns on social media, naming Sumbul and accusing her of snatching away her father.

Mantasha also shared how Sumbul had complained about her in a government office for trying to defame her with her social media post and she was treated harshly by the lady inspector present at the office. Mantasha added that she had removed the post and pictures after she was warned at the office.

Turkish drama series Dirilis Ertugrul is receiving love and appreciation of Pakistanis.
People are going crazy over the Turkish version of Game of Thrones and they are absolutely loving it.
However, many celebrities came out and spoke against airing Ertugrul and they recommended that we must support Pakistani artists and our own content.
In a recent live session, Saba Qamar lashed out on actors who spoke against airing Ertugrul.
She said, “If you are talking about PTV that it is not earning much. These same actors who are speaking against Ertugrul are those same actors who never attend a call from PTV.”
“These actors have not done anything and they never offered PTV anything for free so that PTV can raise its bar. But now if Imran Khan has done something good and the rating of PTV is raising more than private channels, so now people have a problem with this.”
Saba Qamar further said, “Where were you when PTV was nothing? You could have offered your free acting service to PTV and helped them in running content. Everyone knows how to criticize but nobody is thinking about growth. We all are stuck. Nobody calls and appreciate when you do something good but as soon as one mishap happens people start calling you out.”
She also said, “I have an answer for all of them who are speaking against it. Have you done something for PTV? You are saying that we will die due to this but they don’t know that we all are already dying.”
The Baaghi actress recommended that people must focus on making quality content and stop criticizing others.
In the end, she said, “I support the airing of Ertugrul on PTV because it is helping us to generate money and it is not harming us in any way. We are losing nothing.”
