Zahid Ahmed talks about working with Khalil-ur-Rehman in the future and he shared how he won’t work with him if Qamar doesn’t change his behaviour.
He said, “I have worked very closely with him in drama serial ‘Zara Yaad Kar’ and ‘Tou Dil Ka Kya Huwa’. We have very close discussions and he is somebody who is very close to me in my profession.”
“I respect and care for him and even the entire country celebrates his talent. Because of this association and closeness with Khalil Sahab, this kind of behaviour cant be accepted by anyone and this is out of control. So you must apologize from that lady and from the entire country that he misbehaved and in anger, he used language which must not be used by anyone. He must say sorry for his behaviour.”
“If Khalil Sahab won’t work on his attitude and he keeps on defending this attitude there will come a point that I and other people from the industry will boycott from him and won’t work with him,” Zahid Ahmed said clearly.
He further added, “This time he has come on national television and made remarks about somebody’s body. I value him and care about him and this is why I am saying that you must apologize so please work on these things. I will not work on his script if he won’t apologize and I will take a stand if he refuses to apologize and continues with this behaviour. Although he is not the last writer of this world.”

“There is enough drama in the world, the society has completely changed. Karachi is the second most popular city when it comes to marijuana consumption so we should talk about it. My sons are growing and in their surroundings, people use it because it’s common,” he said.
“In Islamabad, crystal meth is being sold in school campuses and crystal meth is death. The person who uses it dies in 2-3 years.”
Zahid Ahmed talked about drugs and said, “Why are we not talking about it? When will we talk about it? Why are you judging it as a sin? It is in our society and I have made a whole video on this topic on my channel. If you see youngsters they say that marijuana and hash are not haraam in Islam and it has no side effects.”
Talking about his experience, he said, “It’s my 10-15 years of experience and I want to say, if it has no side effect then it has no advantage as well. When I left drugs I felt a lot of change. “
“I can say when you are high it becomes damn easy to not give a damn about anything and because of this people use it. After listening to this, it must sound positive but if you see it from another perspective it is about ‘you are not giving damn about anything in life’. When you are high you are not giving damn about relationships and not bother about anything in life. You are detached, numb, and it is an easy escape from life. You stop growing as a person completely,” Zahid Ahmed added.
Zahid Ahmed advised the youth to think about this and stop using drugs because its harmful for your mental health and physical health.

The drama became a hot favorite with the masses and a topic of debate amongst actors in the country about the state channel spending so much money on airing foreign content and broadcasting it in Pakistan, dubbed in Urdu.
However all the claims and doubts were put to rest when Senator Faisal Javed Khan revealed that Ertuğrul had been a gift to Pakistan from Turkey.
In an interview with The Current, Senator and Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Faisal Javed Khan revealed that the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, had gifted the drama series to Pakistan as a goodwill gesture.
“When President Erdogan met PM Imran Khan, he gifted the series to him as a goodwill gesture,” said Khan.
Adding further, Faisal Javed stated that, “PTV did not have to purchase the drama or its rights. TRT gave the drama free of cost to PTV.”
Senator Faisal Javed also mentioned that PM Imran Khan’s main aim was to enable the youth to learn about the rich Islamic history when he requested the state-owned channel to air Diriliş: Ertuğrul.
However mentioning that the government didn’t intend to explore the topic further, Khan added, “Islamic history has been extensively explored by different cinemas across the world including Turkey and Iran, which is why it doesn’t make any sense to spend further resources on the subject.”
