The Pakistani thriller drama Ishq Zahe Naseeb focuses on split personality disorder portrayed by Zahid Ahmed alongside Sonya Hussyn.

Sonya Hussain talks about how ‘Dissociative Identity Disorder’ is a serious issue and our society has no knowledge about it.

“Before signing this project i too was unaware of the fact that (MPD), also known as “Dissociative Identity Disorder” does exist. This is one of the first signs of mental illness and at times patients may not be aware of the multiple personality trait.”

She further added, “90% of the cases of (DID) involve some history of abuse. We are hoping that through this play we are able to educate our audience about this and how to handle such patients if we ever encounter anyone going through the same state of mind. And yes thankyou for such overwhelming response!”

Following Hamesha with Uzair Jaswal, Momina Mustehsan has now released another duet, this time alongside the heartthrob singer Bilal Saeed. Title Baari, this one is a beautiful track featuring Bilal Saeed and Momina Mustehsan on the vocals. A beautiful composition with meaningful lyrics, the song talks about giving love another chance and will definitely make you fall in love.

Baari has been written, directed, composed and produced by Bilal Saeed. While Momina Mustehsan has given Punjabi a worthwhile try in this song, it is Bilal Saeed who completely owns Baari with his vocals, his singing style and of course his composition for the track.

For Momina Mustehsan, Baari, is a completely different track than Hamesha with Uzair Jaswal and therefore will give you a flavor, if you happen to be a Mustehsan fan.

As far as the video is concerned, Baari also features the Nasreen sensation Rahim Pardesi as well. Although Pardesi has a small role to play, he looks good and so do Momina and Bilal. The video for Baari again makes you feel good as does the song itself.

Yeh Dil Mera is a romantic thriller television series. Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Aly are in the lead role. The drama is loved by the audience so far and it has gathered much praise.

One of her followers inquired why was this violent scene was even in the script? She replied, “thanks for clarifying. I find it even more disturbing that the actor in question also thought it was acceptable to make this improv. Absolutely okay to follow your own rules however I raised the issue because the same discretion the channel has adopted in the kind of content they share, celebrities or anyone with influence, or really anybody, should also consider what impact their thousand word image could have. Kangana Ranaut has transformed herself for her upcoming project. She has gained six kilos for her film Thalaivi. She is playing the role of an actor turned politician J.Jayalalithaa.

She gained weight by taking hormone pills. She revealed, “The pills were needed so as to look voluptuous, especially around the belly and thighs. It was earlier this month when actor cum host Hamza Ali Abbasi announced that he would be quitting acting to follow the greater cause of preaching Islam. Although Hamza did not denounce acting as a profession, he still maintained the thought that he wanted to use the medium only to spread the message of Islam and Allah further. Hamza also stated that since people had always associated media with glamour, he had taken the decision to quit the industry so that he would be taken seriously.

While many people lauded Hamza’s decision to quit acting at the peak of his career, there have been others who criticized the actor’s decision, stating it demeaned the whole profession of acting further. One such critic happens to be Deedan famed director Amin Iqbal.

Amin Iqbal in a recent video interview expressed his disappoinmnet on Hamza Ali Abbasi’s decision stating that it had demeaned the profession.

“The showbiz profession already receives resentment from the public, and people usually discourage their loved ones from joining the industry. In the given scenario, Hamza’s decision will only add fuel to the fire,” said Amin Iqbal.

Amin Iqbal added that when a banker or any other person left their profession they didn’t cite religion as the reason and as people already had resentment towards the field of showbiz and acting, Hamza’s decision has only added more fuel to a fire ignited already.

“Media industry is a celebration of art, and it should be respected,” Amin Iqbal said. However, the director did wish Hamza Ali Abbasi all the luck for his future endeavors.

Kubra Khan recently made headlines after her interview with BBC Asian Network. In the particular interview, Kubra not only talked about her currently on air drama Alif, and her character Husn E Jahan and how she could relate well to the spiritual journey of the character.

Another statement that created a lot of hype was Kubra stating how she had spent her past year  herself walking down a more spiritual path. After the interview news was ripe that Kubra too was looking towards quitting the media industry and acting very soon.

However, the Alif Allah aur Insan actor has now made clarifications that she indeed, has no plans of quitting acting anytime soon.

Talking to a media outlet, Kubra Khan stated, “I’m not leaving the industry. Unless, years down, I feel like I’m not doing what I set out to do, then yes I will change paths and this has nothing to do with money”.

“I’m no religious scholar. I’m just somebody who wants to learn the right way of life and I will try my best to do everything in my power to do that. I’m just somebody who wants to be guided on a path that makes Allah happy and not the path that makes him upset at me,” added Kubra further.

Earlier, in her interview Kubra had added that she did not want to be scared to look her Creator in the eye on her deathbed. The actress had also stated that it all boiled down to being a good human being because without that, being the next big thing with 50 awards to your name, was no accomplishment at all.
