The singer Abrar Ul Haq is extremely angry and he has given a long video statement on the matter. Upon a question, “There is an Indian Movie Jug Jug Jio, your song Nach Punjaban has been added into their film, what would you say?

The singer replied, “I was told by someone that my song has been stolen, I haven’t sold my song, I don’t even know about it, it is a theft, no one even asked and its my fourth or fifth song,copied by Bollywood, they make movies worth billions of rupees and astonishingly they don’t have their own content for those movies. I have hired lawyers’ team, it’s a digital world and it is the game of revenues and they still believe in copying, also, I could give song to them but they have sung it so bad, one puts effort in singing, they didn’t even do that, I don’t want to give my song this way, I will give away if I would want, I will ask my people”.

“Maybe I can give them on a single thing like showing solidarity with Kashmir. Bollywood has no content, no creativity, yes, they have good writers but they are failed in music. A good music piece like Billo changes life and stealing a song is a biggest crime”, he further added.

I saw if she was breathing, which she was. I went outside but then I thought to check again, my mother’s heart wasn’t beating, she peacefully passed, the way she used to pray. I was just shocked, I could not cry. We started reciting Darood Sharif. My father, also came into the room, he was seeing her again and again. I didn’t let my family cry. One of my sisters said, ‘Ya Allah we accepted your decision, now you forgive her’. Then I cried.

He also said that children should do charity after the passing of their parents. He said, “I urge my friends to do maximum charity in the name of their parents”.

He also gave message to the people who treat their parents badly. He said, “it is unacceptable and unforgivable deed. Ask for forgiveness from parents otherwise you won’t be forgiven by Allah”

Abrar ul Haq and Mishi Khan are two big names of the industry. They have been engaged in a war of words for some days now after Mishi Khan gave her opinion on Abrar ul Haq’s statement. What happened was Abrar ul Haq appeared on Hafiz Ahmed’s podcast and opened up about getting a film offer opposite Katrina Kaif. He revealed that he rejected the offer as he was not comfortable with the contract and gag on freedom of speech. Mishi Khan came out and criticized him that if he had gotten an offer, why is he even sharing this now.

Veteran singer, Abida Parveen has agreed to sing for a film for the very first time in her long career spanning over decades. Abida Parveen has a dedicated fan following in Pakistan and is duly respected by all walks of life. However despite an esteemed career, Abida has never rendered her voice for any filmi song. Though in some films her non-filmi songs are used for overlap over some particular situation like in Punjabi film Zill-e-Shaah her pre-recorded kaafi (a genre of sufi poetry) is included as overlap.

Now finally TV director Farooq Mengal has persuaded Abida Parveen, to render magic of her voice for Title Song of the his new film ‘Raabta’. It is also first time ever that Abida is singing an OST exclusively for a TV Drama or film. Though some of her pre-recorded songs are included in drama as OST like ‘Yaar ko hum ne’  for Shehr-e-Zaat.

Mohabbat Karna Mana Hai is an upcoming drama serial with a star studded cast including Adnan Siddiqui, Samiya Mumtaz , Aly Khan, Adeel Chaudhry and Noor Khan. It is a story of love and loss directed by Furqan Siddiqui and all set to air on Bol Entertainment.

The OST of the play was recently released and to the listeners’ and viewers’ delight, it is sung by the very magnificent app Abida Parveen. Listen to the wonderful lyrics written by Gulzar and vocalized magically by Abida Parveen.

Veteran Pakistani actor Abid Kashmiri passed away today in Lahore, Pakistan. He was a popular PTV actor who appeared in multiple hit films and dramas including Samundar, Suraj Kay Sath Sath, Teesra Kinara, Apnay Log, Lahori Gate, Pesa Nach Nachaway, Home Sweet Home and others. Abid Kashmiri also performed in multiple stage dramas. Abid Kashmiri rose to fame through his popular PTV drama serial Samundar in which fans loved his popular character Gullu Badshah.

According to the family, Abid Kashmiri wasn’t suffering from any critical diseases. His wife shared details in her interview with Urdu Point.

Talking about Abid Kashmiri’s last moments, his wife said, “Two days ago, he caught malaria after that he regained health and was perfectly fine. The next day, he woke up and was sitting, he was probably waiting for me. I took him to the washroom, his eyes suddenly turned to the opposite side. His lips turned white. I instantly called my granddaughter and my son-in-law, who is a doctor. Dr. Saab tried hard, but my husband couldn’t breathe. He passed away on the spot due to a heart attack”.

She further added, “He was perfectly healthy, though he was diabetic and weak due to his age. Otherwise, he was doing well. We were supposed to go back to the USA on the 20th of October. We had been here for a month. The funeral will be held after my son arrives from the USA”

Social media users and fans are praying for the forgiveness of senior Pakistani actor Abid Kashmiri. Read a few comments:

Abid Kashmiri is a legendary artist who worked in dramas, film and theatre. He was loved for all his comedy and the characters he created throughout his career. The star just left this mortal world after he was visiting Pakistan from the USA where he was living. Before his demise, he gave his last interview to Mazaq Raat which was aired last night and he appeared alongside his son.

Abid Kashmiri’s son shared what has been difficult in his life being a star’s son. His son said that he always had to be careful in life as his father was such a respectable figure. He made sure to never cross any lines and be cautious in life.

Abid Kashmiri is a veteran superstar of Pakistan. He has worked in all mediums including film, television and theatre. His comedy is loved by millions and he is a straight forward man who has always said what he felt was the truth. He lives in the USA right now but he was in Pakistan and appeared on Wasi Shah’s show.

Abid Kashmiri expressed the love he has for his wife. He shared that his wife is the most beautiful woman with blue eyes and he always admired her. He has always given her respect and having respect for your wife is not being joru ka ghulam. It was just the love and appreciation that a husband should have for his wife.

He also spoke about how many actors have married more than once. They had multiple wives and many kids. They did not think how they will be able to provide for these families once their prime is over. Therefore, he will never ever be able to understand this practice of having more than one wife.

Abid Brohi, the rapper from Sibbi who collaborated with SomeWhatSuper with the Sibbi Song through the platform of Patari made his voice and presence heard and felt.

The song took the social media by a storm. It was part of Tabeer, a project by Patari which aimed to feature those voices of Pakistan which would never find big platforms. It featured office boys and people from rural and working class backgrounds.

Instep got into touch with Abid Brohi and Talha Dar and Feroze Faisal from SomeWhatSuper related to his newfound fame and success.

Brohi had to say:

“People used to laugh at me, everyone would just tell me to give up; ‘this will not take you anywhere in life’ they said to me.”

Whatever he was earning wasn’t enough for him to travel far in order to meet musicians who would appreciate his talent. He talked about the kind of jobs he was doing:

“I was working in a cloth store for Rs.100 a day. I then shifted to Quetta and got a better paying job that gave me Rs.6000 per month.”

He even tried his best to reach Lahore and he did when a Pakistani established musician invited him. However, when he reached Lahore, the musician was unavailable on his cellphone and later, Brohi found out that the musician wasn’t even in the country. Brohi expressed:

“I was so heartbroken that day. I came all the way to Lahore facing so many difficulties. I had really high hopes.”

Later, a documentary filmmaker met him at Sibbi’s  annual mela.

“Raza (Shah) met Brohi and heard him sing. He then recorded his vocals and sent them over to us, and we started working on the song,” shared Dar with instep.

“I kept pestering SomeWhatSuper for a whole year then,” said Brohi.

And, after a year, he received a phone call to come to Karachi.

“I was prepared this time. I asked for the contact details of at least five, six other people. Someone or the other had to answer my call!”

And hence, the Sibbi song came into being.

“One day my brother came running to tell me I’m on TV. And there I saw myself. I couldn’t believe it. I started shivering and crying out of happiness. My dream had finally come true.I couldn’t even eat for a whole week because I was so happy!”

This response by Brohi is rather heartwarming and amazing.

All three of them now have corporates lined behind them wanting to work with them. SomeWhatSuper is currently working on a film’s soundtrack while Brohi has a big corporate project to look forward to.

“My friends now call me ‘kadday’ jokingly from the song’s line ‘Kadday milda se’ meaning when will we meet again?” concluded Brohi.

Abid Ali’s both daughters Rahma Ali and Iman Ali requested to all the Media channels to stop breaking news of their father’s death atleast let him live till he is alive. There were a lot of news channels who break this false news to get TRP, 92 news has reported that we have talked to his daughters after his demise and later on they deleted that video.

Feroze Khan and Shamoon Abbasi has also posted to Media that stop spreading false news about Abid Ali and pray for his recovery. And we also want to say to the channels it is not the time of ratings and breaking news its time to peacefully pray for a living legend.

Legendary actor Abid Ali’s daughter Raahmaa Ali shared the marriage story of her father and mother and how they were deeply in love with each other.

Abid Ali married Humaira Chaudhry and the couple has three daughters Maryam Ali, Iman Ali and Raahmaa Ali.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote, “A beautiful picture from the day my parents got married. They were insanely in love! My mother was a very young yet known actor and singer at PTV. My father, a boy who had come all the way from Quetta to Lahore to become an actor, walked into PTV Station and eventually my mother’s life. They had both developed a liking for each other from a distance and had their little ‘stare at each other’ contest going on till they finally worked in a project together.Papa fell in love with the pretty and happy-go-lucky girl and kept chasing her till she finally said yes (who wouldn’t, he was one handsome guy with a very charming personality) and the two started ‘going out’.”

Raahmaa Ali shared, “They decided to get married a cpl of years later. The families weren’t too happy but my parents forced their parents and made it happen because they couldn’t ‘live without each other’ anymore. But like, almost every other love, their’s started to fade too. He’d be too busy working and being indulged in all the things men do outside of marriages. It all started to fall apart. She was home (back in Lahore tho) giving birth to and raising children and he was out there, shining bright like a diamond. It does get annoying. They had serious problems but somehow managed to hold it together for good 30 years.”

“It had become weak enough for another woman to take full advantage of the gap between the two. So the second, unannounced, marriage happened. And whatever little, imperfect world we had, came crashing down. Nothing ever went back to normal! And now he’s gone forever.”

In the end, she said, “I wonder why love is so fragile. I wonder why it almost never lasts forever. P.S. This is what I like abt pictures. They’re proof that once, even if just for a heartbeat, everything was perfect!”
