Ali Kazmi is the son of veteran actors Rahat and Sahira Kazmi. We best know him from Jackson Heights, where he played Sikandar, an abusive husband. Viewers loathed Sikandar and that says a lot about Ali Kazmi’s convincing performance. Currently, we can see him in Sehra Mein Safar on HUMTV.

It is revealed that Ali Kazmi is currently shooting for the television prequel of The Taken trilogy by Liam Neeson. Talking to Dawn Images, he shared, ”I play Marzoki, a fast talking, sharp, quirky analyst,” He explained that the Taken TV series will explore the character of Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson – one of my favourite actors) in great detail.

“I am proud to be a part of the main cast. I play one of the good guys, no ridiculous casting or dressing. I’m really ecstatic to be representing South Asians in a good light and I’m happy that NBC is taking bigger and better steps for more diverse smart casting! The world is full of so many colours, why not the casting for TV, so it’s a step in the right direction.”
Talking to Express Tribune, Kazmi speaks about his selection, “It was a coveted role to bag. I returned from working on Dobara Phir Se and sent my tapes and they loved it. The director, Alex Graves has previously worked on The Newsroom, West Wing and Game of Thrones. For him to choose me for the role was a big deal.”

We wish him all the best for his projects!

Ali Kazmi is a versatile Pakistani television and film actor known for his films like Baaji, Motorcycle Girl and Dobra Phir Se. His notable dramas are Baaghi, Badnam, Jaal, Jackson Heights, Sehra Main Safar, Moray Saiyan, Jaal, Tu Ishq Hai and others. The actor lives in Canada with his parents and family. He is the son of popular Pakistani senior actors and producers Rahat Kazmi and Sahira Kazmi.

Recently, Ali Kazmi gave a short interview to Ambreen Fatima. In the interview, he talked about his parents. Ali also requested fans to keep his parents in prayers.

Talking about it, Ali said, “I don’t post about my parents on social media because they aren’t on it. If you truly love someone, you spend time with them. Like, my father is turning 80 on June 30th, so I will make sure to spend time with him. Please pray for my parents.”

He further added, “My father looks strict, but he isn’t like that. Although my grandfather was very strict with my father, he didn’t allow my father to become an artist but after he completed his law degree — he fought for it and pursued his career as artists” Here is the link to the video:

He also added, “May Allah always keep my parents happy. My mother has never been strict with me — my sister always complains that she is too lenient with me. Our parents have taught us so much; they always maintained open dialogue with us and never stopped us from doing anything. They always preached humanity and pure-heartedness, and taught us to work with sheer honesty.”

Ali Hyderabadi is a famous Pakistani Tiktoker with a massive following of 21 million on the social media application Tiktok. The Tiktoker got married in March 2023 and his wedding pictures went viral on social media. Fans loved Ali Hyderabadi’s wife and sent best wishes to the couple.

Today, a video of Ali Hyderabadi divorcing his wife circulated on social media. In the video Ali could be seen divorcing his wife and saying he won’t see his wife again. Wife in the video came towards husband after which the video was turned off. His wife later accused Ali of fracturing her finger.

Ali Hyderabadi has now come up with his side of the story after his ex-wife’s allegations. He was holding Quran e Pak in his hand and denied all the allegations of physical abuse on his ex.

Ali Hyderabadi said, “Assalamu Alaikum. I am Ali Hyderabadi. This is my first and last video. First of all, I did not want to speak about this topic because it is a family matter. However, when I saw videos being made against me and false statements being given by Zainab—such as the claim that I broke her finger—I felt compelled to respond. Look, the divorce-related video that has gone viral clearly shows that I did not hit her. I recorded that video because I feared that one day she would use some video against me and try to blackmail me. I am holding the Holy Quran, and I swear I am telling the truth: I did not hit her.”

He further added, “Secondly, in the video you can see that, towards the end, they were trying to grab my mobile phone because I was recording the video and leaving with it. Why? Because they had already packed my belongings—you can probably see my clothes, shopping bags, and other items on the floor. The truth is that before the video even started, they had already decided to throw me out of the house. Yes, I was living in their home, but they had invited me to stay there. I had rented houses before—a five-marla house—but she did not want to live there. Then I rented a flat, and she still did not want to stay. I wanted to take her to Hyderabad, but she refused to go. I kept doing everything according to her wishes. During these three years, we had many arguments like this. Now I am being accused of threatening her. I am holding the Holy Quran and saying that I never threatened her, nor did I break her finger. This is a family matter, and I did not want to make it public, but she posted these videos. I honestly cannot say anything except that I never expected her to stoop to this level. I respect all institutions. If any authority calls me, I am fully prepared to provide evidence.” Watch here:

The music industry of Pakistan has gone through many ups and downs. Pakistan always had big stars in the world of music and Pakistani music is loved worldwide. Ali Haider is one such name who was a phenomenon in the 90s while Hassan Jahangir is also a big name of his era. His song Hawa Hawa is still as loved today as it was when it was released.

Ali Haider recently appeared on a podcast and he had a hilarious story to share about Hassan Jahangir. Ali talked about how Pakistani stars get most of their due after they get famous in India. Talking about the virality of Hawa Hawa at that time, he revealed that Hassan Jahangir had become a phenomenon after his song. He got a massive response in India and also performed there.

Quoting metaphorical figures, Ali revealed that if Hassan was taking 500 for his performance back then, he was asked by an organizer in Pakistan what he will take now as he is super famous. He said that 15 would be okay and then performed for his event. After Hassan Jahangir went home, he had gotten 1500 rupees while he had asked for 15000 rupees.

Ali Haider is one of the most well-known singers from the 2000s era. He is a big star and his work is recognized and loved by millions. His presence is still very strong and he spoke about his journey and work as he appeared as a guest on Ahmad Ali Butt’s podcast. He spoke about his journey in music and the difficulties he faced in Pakistan.

Ali Haider shared that he has seen all the ins and outs of the music industry while he was performing in the 2000s and music was at its peak. From parties to drugs, everything that happened, he has witnessed it. He also shared that he was able to save himself from a lot of it as he had to go home to his family at the end of the night. Yes, he has partied and his family realized that he was doing it. But he always kept himself in check and he later on completely changed. He kept his wedding simple and he has never showed off his wealth or stardom.

This is what he had to say:

Ali Haider also revealed that he had to relocate to the USA with his family due to threats he was getting. He added that during the 2013-2014 era, Pakistan was facing serious security threats. He also received extortion warnings and he had to flee on the roads in his car while his children were with him. All of this combined became too much for him and his family. When an opportunity came where he could shift to the USA and work there, he took it and relocated to Houston.

Listen to what Ali revealed:

Aamir Zaki, the renowned legendary guitarist passed away on Friday at the age of 49. Zaki suffered from heart failure after a long battle with health problems.

However, Waqar Zaka came out with a video following the demise of legendary guitarist. He criticised the artist community for being insensitive and abandoning Zaki. He further claimed that Aamir Zaki was lying dead all alone with no one to take care of his body.

According to Waqar, he went to the Edhi morgue located in the Sohrab Goth area of Karachi where the idol’s body was kept.

He also said that the deceased’s family was not concerned about his body. “Artists should come and see how Aamir is kept here. This day can also come in our lives,” he said in his live video on Facebook.

Zaka alleged that singers Ali Haider, Hadiqa Kiani and Ahmed Jahanzaib, who worked with Zaki were not there to his death.

Singer Ali Haider now responded to Zaka’s live video, Ali released a video recently and slammed Zaka for naming him and Hadiqa Kiani among others, he also claimed that Zaka is trying to seek attention using Aamir Zaki’s death.

He said, “Everyone knows that I have been living in the United Staes for over two years now and Hadiqa lives in Lahore. But you [Waqar] were in Karachi. Why couldn’t you do anything for Zaki when we all knew the tough time he was going through?”

“If I want to do something good or charitable, I will do it in secret. Gabbing a mobile phone and shooting a video to seek attention is very easy,” he said.

The whole episode is surely getting uglier.

Soon after the launch of his new album, Ali haider is now all set and motivated for his acting career and will soon be seen on screen in a comedy sitcom “Ek aur Ek Dhai”. The drama enjoys a rich production of ‘Showcase productions’ and the direction is done by none other than the popular director ‘Wajahat Rauf’. The script is been done by Mohsin Ali, making it further entertaining and worthy to follow.

What adds more colors to the upcoming venture is its cast which includes Ali Haider, Ali Safina, Aashir Wajahat, Ayesha Toor and this would be the first time that you will be watching Mansha Pasha doing comedy on screen. Mansha has won the hearts of her fans through her phenomenal acting in supporting roles like Shehr-zaat and Zindagi Gulzar Hai.

These days when we see the comedy shows and sitcoms excelling in the entertainment industry, the market holds a good opportunity of success for the upcoming dramas following the same pattern. Thanks to Bulbulay, people are now finally enjoying their home products to laugh out and this has been a real motivation for the actors who are able to make people laugh.

Pakistan is going through the worst of times economically, socially and politically. It is one bad news after another and the nation is suffering the brunt of it. The latest incident occurred in the Icchra market Lahore where a woman was harassed by fanatics for wearing a shirt with Arabic calligraphy. The fanatics termed it blasphemy and were trying to lynch the woman. Police came and secured the lady but later on made that lady sit between those fanatics and apologize for wearing a kurta.

People all over the country are scared not just because of the way this incident occurred but also by the way police handled it and made the innocent apologize to the perpetrators. Ali Gul Pir has come up with a message of common sense in this situation. He made a satire of the situation and tried to teach people that Arabic is simply a language and not everything written in it will be religious scripture.

Ali Gul Pir is a Pakistani rapper famous for his much-hyped song ‘Wadera Ka Beta’. He is a rapper too and highlights social issues in his songs. His earlier numbers such as Waderey ka beta and V.I.P tackled serious issues.

Ali Gul Pir is back again with his new hit Karle Jo Karna Hai. The song is just amazing and people are absolutely loving it.

This song is about the feud that happened between Ali Gul Pir and Ali Zafar. Ali Gul Pir gave his opinion about Zafar saying he will forgive Meesha Shafi when his wife Ayesha Fazli does.

“Only in Pakistan; An alleged harasser is so high up on his horse that instead of being defensive, he is talking about forgiving the victim if his wife gives permission,” Ali Gul Pir tweeted.

After this, Zafar lodged a complaint with FIA. Ali Gul Pir was summoned by FIA and then he released a statement to clarify his stance.

Now, Ali Gul Pir has released a song titled as Karle Jo Karna. He did not hold back and some of the lyrics are pinpointing Ali Zafar directly.

Let’s check out some of the lyrics:

“Meine sunna hai jab log tujhe award shows mei bulatay hain tu kehta hai mujhe award milna chaiyeh warna mei nai aonga!”

“Ab bakwas ki toh duga mei joota”

“I’m joking, I love you a lot, I’m calling this song ‘Channo ki Maut’”

“Chup nahi bethu ga, sab kuch mei kehduga, sab ki mei leluga, KARLE JO KARNA HAI”

“Tujhe lagta hai mujhe notice aur dramay se dara deyga?”

“India ja kar Ranbir ke utha yar”

“PR ka bhooka, aik joke se tera ego hai toota!”

Here is the complete song:

NEW SONG ALERT! I dedicate this song to all those who try and have tried to silence me. Watch it and share #KarleJoKarnaHai https://t.co/T8rjnUACeb

This song is obviously about Ali Zafar but it also says a lot about censorship of art in Pakistan by powerful individuals and authorities.

The Solis festival 2020 in Islamabad was a complete disaster. Famous comedian Ali Gul Pir speaks against harassment and mismanagement at the festival.

He spoke against harassment and said, “Anyone saying “what were they expecting” or “men and women together dancing then this is expected” needs to visit other Islamic countries.”

He further added, “This is not an Islamic country issue, this is lack of law and order and jahalat. If you the educated lot is victim-blaming then what can be expected from the masses.”

The popular comedian gave examples of Muslim countries and said, “Saudi, Dubai, Malaysia all have such events, but they don’t grope girls who are collapsed under the stage. We all should be ashamed and demand justice!”

Ali Gul Pir posted a series of tweets and said, “Except for #solis managements utter failure n their lame excuses of fake tickets in this day and age of QR code. Pakistanis really need to question themselves why they would grope a woman whose leg is trapped under a fallen stage or call her a “gashti” if she’s wearing a top.”

He further posted, “Or gang up and molest a girl in a concert if she’s seen alone or with just one guy (I have personally seen this as a teenager at least thrice). These people are Pakistanis, they are not aliens or foreigners. Sad to see this side of our country. Truly harrowing.”

Ali Gul Pir is known for his great comedy and satire and he has always created great content for the public. From his Waderay Ka Beta getting viral to his photoshoot recreations and his takes on different viral videos of celebrities, Ali Gul Pir knows how to strike a chord and he successfully does it everytime. He was a guest on FHM podcast and talked about how his satire is received by the public.

Ali talked about how celebrities do not have thick skin and how egoistic they can be. The rapper revealed that he is followed by many big politicians on Twitter and they are the ones he targets the most but they are still very tolerant and never take his satire to heart. Celebrities i.e. actors and singers are though very different in this regard.

He said that celebrities have big egos and they cannot digest a little humour. Referring to the video he made about Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s Dum Wali Pani, he said that especially stars who get over 1 crore for one show should have a big heart and learn to receive criticism if something of theirs in public domain gets criticism.

Here is what he had to say:
