It was the 26th of August, 2011 ( Ramadan), when I became the Taliban’s new prey. They had put me in a jail. They didn’t have the proper facilities. They kept me in their mini slaughterhouse which was also used as jail. They kept me with the scapegoats, I was just another addition in the scapegoats of the Talibans.

He further said, “Whenever we had to move, they made me wear a Burqa (a veil worn by women). However, I questioned them, ‘Isn’t it strange for a woman to be running after you in a burqa? While bombs are exploding and we’re all hiding?’ Surprisingly, they replied, ‘No, we don’t find it strange.’ They believed that the burqa could keep me safe.”

Shahbaz Taseer is the son of the late governor of Punjab Salman Taseer who was a force to be reckoned with and who always stood by his principles, no matter how the world took it. He was assassinated by his guard while his family went through another trauma as his son was kidnapped by the Taliban right after. Shahbaz Taseer remained for years in captivity until he got back, thanks to the Almighty’s mercy.

He was a guest on Ahsan Khan’s new show and he shared how he went through hell and he has since gotten more religious and he has learnt a lot about life and faith, faith that got him through everything. He shared that one day he just left for the office in his sportscar, the car that belonged to his late father and he just got kidnapped by people with guns. He thought those people were after the car but later found out that it was way more sinister.

Shahbaz also revealed that he was taken by the Uzbeks but the man was speaking such fluent Urdu that he did not even realize that he was not a Pakistani. He was later kept in captivity by Uzbeks, later the Taliban and he reached Pakistan after a journey of a lifetime. He revealed that multiple nationalities were working in Afghanistan in those terrorist rings and the guy who used to negotiate with his mother was a SOuth Korean.

SRK and Deepika were all praises for Pakistan’s drama industry. According to reports, SRK praised Farheen’s work and offered her to work on his new project. Deepika congratulated Farheen on the success of Pakistan’s fashion industry and said that Pakistani dramas are loved by Indians.

Shah (شاہ) is an upcoming film scheduled to release on 14th August 2015. “SHAH” is based on the incredible true story of Olympian Boxer Syed Hussain Shah. Long time forgotten Syed Hussain Shah hails from Layari, an impoverished sub district of Karachi. In the past Layari was known for its boxers and footballers but in recent times its name is associated with crime and gang wars. Ethnic Baloch form the majority in Layari and it is the only stronghold of Pakistani Peoples Party in the city of Karachi.

From a homeless child who slept on a footpath in Karachi to Olympic glory – Hussain Shah became the only Pakistani in history and the first South Asian to win a Bronze Medal in Olympics Boxing at the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games. Traditionally Hockey has been the main sports for Pakistan in the Olympics, however in 1988 Pakistani Hockey team presented below average performance and failed to qualify for the semi final securing fifth position overall. In 1988, Syed Hussain Shah emerged as a surprise winner when Hockey team failed to meet the expectations.
