Shahid Afridi said that he doesn’t like it at all and wants a ban. Shehzad Roy then said that he is not on TikTok he will think of getting it banned after seeing it. Shahid Afridi then said that it is easy for him to get it banned. Shahid further said to Shehzad, “as you are going to Islamabad, please get this thing done too”.

Shahid Afridi was really furious at the TikTok App. Shehzad Roy however, was of the view that Afridi is a world known figure so he can also work for the ban of TikTok. Shahid said that this job only belongs to Shehzad as he is the one who talks on social issues more than him. Afridi said that TikTok is a bigger issue and the voice should be raised in this regard.

The movie is directed and produced by Humayun Saeed. According to Jang Newspaper, Humayun hoped to launch the film concurrently in various countries. Promotion of the film will be started from 2013. Director excitedly said, “We want to take the movie to the global audience and would also try to organize a special screening for our audiences in India.”

The film will be starring some megastars of Pakistan including Javed Sheikh, Aisha Khan, Noman Habib, Humayon Saeed and on top Afridi himself. This is not it! Legendary Pakistani singers Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shafqat Amanat Ali have been
rope in for two songs in the movie.

Seeing that the movie entails the efforts of really big names of Pakistan as well as the charm of Boom Boom is pretty enough to make the viewers crazy about the film, I also have very high expectations, the same as most of the people are already comparing it with ‘Lagaan’, ‘Chak De India’, but I am positive it will be different and fairly as worth watching as them.

Humayun Saeed said, “if we can clap on the fact that their teams won, then why not ours.” I must say it’s a very smart yet reasonable concept to go with as a first move for a movie not only of his career but Pakistan as-well.

Shahid further told that he has constructed a sixteen bed maternity hospital in tangi banda, near Khoat in the KPK province. He always planned to make a clinic in his hometown, which is now realized in the form of a hospital. He chose the remote area for this effort, as urban areas already have many facilities where as mortality rate in remote areas is much higher due to lack of facilities.

In past Shahid Afridi has actively participated in many humanitarian projects, and now he wants to provide some permenant center of facilities to his home town and province.

Like Shaukat Khanum hospital, Shahid Afridi also want to provide health facility center but in remote and distant areas where such centers are scarce.

Afridi had hurt his right hand when he was fielding during the second innings of Friday’s playoff match against Karachi Kings. He received 12 stitches on his hand after the injury. In a video message, he confirmed his withdrawal from the final match, saying doctors have advised him to rest for 10 days.

Shahid Afridi said, “I felt scared yesterday, we were sitting in a conference where Razzaq was saying something, I didn’t hear what he exactly said and started laughing. Almost everyone has seen by now the vulgar song with obscene scenes in the upcoming movie “Mein Hoon Shahid Afridi”. There was a lot of debate even in this forum about how appropriate or inappropriate it was and many thought that it was a stunt to get some much needed publicity for the venture.

Shahid Afridi said, “”I had given permission for the film with an aim to give kids some positive healthy entertainment, to divert their minds towards cricket and it should not have obscene things.”

He also added, “I want to tell the people that the film is not related to my life…A lot of kids and families would go to watch the movie because of me and if they see things like that they will feel bad, so I hope they remove those scenes and run the film.”

Shahid Afridi’s statements clearly go to show that this film is NOT going to be about the life of Shahid Afridi but the story actually is that the film is about a boy who idealizes the icon and wants to be like him.

Shahid Afridi further added that he was not part of the movie also, he was asked to make a guest appearance but he refused, “”I had declined the offer to act because my elders are against acting, nor did I charge a single penny from them,” he said. Shahid Afridi had to make this statement because the promo of the movie suggested that he was part of the film.

The film has already been delayed due to technical problems and now it seems like there are more problems ahead.
