Pakistan is going through a very devastating time. The country which contributes less than 1% to the carbon emissions is one of the greatest effected by climate change. Being the host of largest glaciers outside the Arctic, raising global temperatures are wrecking the country with millions of lives lost and billions in property damages.
Our lack of infrastructure and poor governance for over 5 decades has also played their role in such large scale devastation.

Amid all this devastation, International celebrities are also visiting Pakistan to raise awareness and help the flood victims in their capacities. Angelina Jolie is also visiting Pakistan and after meeting the victims and seeing the wiped out areas, she said that she has never seen anything like this before, such is the scale of destruction post floods.

Sharmila Faruqui who is an active member of the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party and also friends with most of the showbiz celebrities was however disappointed. She posted on her Instagram and called out actors for attending an award show as their country is suffering and an international celebrity is making time to help them.

Pakistani celebrities are sharing their videos and pictures on social media about how they are spending their quarantine days. Everyone seems to be busy doing stuff they love to do. Some are painting after a long time while many of them are doing home chores; from cleaning their messy cupboards to rearranging living rooms and cooking delicious food for the whole family. 

Sharmila Faruqi, like other celebrities, shared her cooking videos over social media. Many of her followers loved to see her videos and appreciated her for entertaining them with new recipes. Most of them even tried to follow her steps. One of her latest videos went viral all over the internet because of some funny reason. 

During the start of the video, Sharmila said that she was going to cook chicken fillet, but then she referred the chicken fillet as red snapper. She even talked about cutting the tail of the chicken fillet which confused the audience. 

People started criticizing her that she doesn’t even know what she is actually cooking. She doesn’t know the difference between a chicken fillet and a red snapper or between garnishing and marinating. How can she teach others when she doesn’t even know the basic differences?
