In an interview with Dawn Images, Naveen Waqar revealed that she was approached by Sakina Samo for her upcoming short film, Musafir, which will deal with some tough topics. “The character I’m playing is of a girl who suffers from severe depression and is suicidal. The movie is about life and how people that you least expect can give you hope for a brighter future. I found the script just beautiful when Sakina offered it to me.”

She also went to say that this isn’t her first time working with Sakina Samo. “Before this, I had shot this telefilm with Sakina, which is yet to hit television screens; she’s very creative and gives you a lot of room to play as an actor.”

In Musafir, Naveen Waqar will be sharing the screen with Imran Abbas. We saw them together in HUM’s popular drama serial, Alvida, where Naveen played a supporting character.

According to Brandsynario, Imran Abbas shared some details about this film and his character. “I was in Lahore when I got the offer. I thought that since the shooting will take place in Nathia Gali and Murree, I will get a chance to spend some time over there. I was even more excited with the fact I will be working with Sakina Samo and that too as a director this time. We have worked together in Mera Naseeb before but this was the first time I have experienced her presence as a director. It was wonderful and very positive to work with her.”

He revealed that he is playing the role of a philanthropist. ”He loves nature, he is kind and above all, he is a giver.”

Currently, Naveen Waqar is working on another project, Deewar Bhi Nahe, alongside Ahsan Khan and Emmad Irfani.

Written by Ali Moeen and produced by Real Entertainment, the film is shot in Murree and Nathiagali and will be shown abroad at festivals. It is expected to come out by the end of the year.

Naveen admits that it wasn’t easy being married to someone who already had a daughter. She said, “To be very honest, I was very scared before getting into this and didn’t know how Fatima (Azfar’s daughter) was going to react to it……I am building a relationship with Fati (Fatima) and by the grace of God, she has warmed up to me. Whenever she comes over, we hang out, watch movies and chill out.”

Azfar also said that Salma (his ex wife) had been very supportive, “If she wanted, she could have created a furor, but I am glad she understood and made things easier for both of us.”

Nausheen Shah’s inappropriate language while dragging her country into her statement made the public really furious. Even Some of the celebrities came up and commented on her statement which started an online feud between the actress and ace fashion designer Umer Sayeed.

Umer Sayeed made an insensitive comment and taunted Nausheen Shah on failing to get married after trying it multiple times. The actress didn’t keep quiet and publicly responded so harshly to Umer Sayeed’s comment saying, “Now you will tell me what to say and when to stop. you sleep with men Allah maaf keray you are a gay, ap toh shaadi kerne kay qabal he nhi ho. so please next time think before you speak hope I am loud and clear 🙏”.

Comedian and Host Adeel Ajmal known as Aadi also got furious after Nausheen Shah’s abusive language used for our Beloved country Pakistan. He took it to his Instagram story and criticized Nausheen Shah.

Talking about Yasir Hussain’s feud with her, she said that she thinks Yasir is a very outspoken person but the things that were said could have been avoided. She also said that she does not want to talk about this further and let the bygones be bygones.

Nausheed also had a feud with Umar Sayeed when he made fun of her on not being married. Both exchanged harsh words over Instagram. Umer’s friend actress and model Iffat Omar sided with him and said that she will not be friends with Nausheen anymore. Nausheen called Iffat her elder sister on this and said that Iffat can have her opinions.

She also talked about her feuds with Aamir Liaquat and Nida Yasir and said that those were not huge issues. They just got blown up.

Nausheen Shah in her interview talked about how in Pakistan there is no respect for artists.

She said, “One thing which hurts me is that our famous and respectable artists when they are alive nobody gives them any work.”

“But when they die people earn money from it by making programs on them on news channels, morning shows, why?”

She gave the example of Qandeel Baloch because when she was alive nobody offered her any work but as soon as she died a drama named ‘Baaghi’ was produced on her life journey.

“When Qandeel Baloch was alive you abused her but when she died you made a drama on her,” she said.

Nausheen Shah further added, “It’s extremely sad and alarming. In foreign countries they don’t do this they provide enough facilities to their artists.”

“Our artists are even begging on the streets because they don’t have any work.”

I started questioning myself, I then decided to remove it. Talking about being spiritual, she said, “I used to pray to Allah, saying, ‘I want You; if You love me, bring me to the prayer mat.’ He answered my prayer, and now I am regular with my prayers. Actor Nimra Khan, who allegedly separated from her husband after months of being married, recently refused to comment on her relationship status in an appearance on Naumaan Ijaz’s talk show. However, Raja Azam, whom the actor tied the knot with in April 2020, took to his Instagram Stories to confirm their divorce in a live session.

The video where he details the reason for their divorce has been shared on YouTube. In it, he can be heard saying, “We are divorced.” And in a rather derogatory manner, he goes on to announce that he “got rid of her” because “she was a headache.” “I am old enough, I got rid of her, she was a headache, she was a proper headache,” he says in the live clip.
