“I was diagnosed with AML back in the US, ten years ago. My blood count had dropped significantly and I was lifted to John Hopkins where I was told that my Lukemia was very rare and that I would go through chemotherapy and radiation,” shared Laila.

Adding further, Laila stated, “I needed bone marrow transplant but none of my siblings matched. However I was grateful to find 19 donors internationally. But my body didn’t accept the blood and I fell further and very critically ill after the transfusion.”

Laila narrated her tale of being put on steroids to battle the disease and then losing her bone strength because of which she had to get hip and knee replacements done.

During the course of her critical treatment, Laila also lost her parents but she didn’t lose hope. Laila also shared that her husband had been her biggest support during her treatment and had helped her cope up with life like a true life partner.

Then I gave Kaffara, but still nobody wrote about me. I was so sad. The same happened during Aas Paas — no channels or magazines talked about it. Industry people ridiculed us and our drama. But Ali Ansari was right — our drama became a hit despite the big names and big channels. I’m very happy now, and after this huge success, the lobby system will never affect me again. Speaking at a press conference the woman claimed that she was Babar’s neighbor and old school mate, adding that the young cricketer tricked her into love and marriage. “When I asked him to marry me, he tortured me,” she said.

Speaking further, Hamiza claimed that Babar Azam proposed her in 2010 and she eloped with the batsman for court marriage in 2011. She insisted that she had to elope with Babar Azam because neither her nor his family were ready for their wedding. She further said that Babar Azam eventually refused to marry her.

“He has been exploiting me for ten years by giving false promises of marriage,” said the woman while also sharing that they had lived then in different houses at Gulberg and Punjab Housing Society.

Hamiza maintained she provided huge financial support to Babar with her beauty salon income. She said that in ten years Babar Azam took crores of rupees from her out of which not a single rupee has been returned yet. Not only that, she also claimed that she has played a key role in making Babar Azam a cricketer by financing him.

During Saturday’s press conference, the woman’s lawyer said that an FIR had been lodged with the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore regarding the matter but no action was taken. Hamiza’s petition is now pending at the Sessions Court, which is scheduled for a hearing on December 4. The sexual harassment case will be heard on December 5.

Maya Ali who recently won the award for Best Actress at Lux Style Awards will be seen as Ali Zafar’s love interest Anaya.

Lahore Se Aagey , the upcoming film of Saba Qamar and Yasir Hussain will also be starring Gohar Mumtaz in a cameo role.

According to sources the film’s team said, “Gohar Mumtaz will be seen in Lahore Se Aagey and Saba Qamar couldn’t resist hugging Gohar in the film.”

“Speculations are on the rise that the sequel to Lahore Se Aagey will feature Saba Qamar and Gohar Mumtaz. But of course, these are mere rumors at the time being.”

The first look of the film trailer clearly reveals that the film is based around Saba Qamar. She will be playing a role of rock star, and other main lead will be played by Yasir Hussain. By casting Gohar Mumtaz it seems they’ve just added another rock star.

Lahore Se Aagey is expected to release on November 11.
