Namak Haram was a drama that was highly anticipated when it was about to be released as it was the comeback of Imran Ashraf and Sarah Khan’s pairing. The drama did well on TRP charts and YouTube views and it finally ended in a way that the audience has not appreciated. For so may weeks, audience was waiting for Mureed who was the son of a rape victim to avenge his mother and finally bring Amin Qureshi played by Babar Ali to justice but the ending was stupid, abrupt and did not make a lot of sense.

In the end, Amin Qureshi easily killed Mureed and went to jail while Asma played by Sarah Khan gave birth to their son and brought him up as a single mother with a very sad life surrounded by her dead husband’s hallucinations.

Imran Ashraf is hosting Mazaq Raat right now and he had something to say about the ending of Namak Haram. He thanked everyone for loving the drama and an audience member wanted him to have killed Amin Qureshi. He said that the ending was not something people were expecting and it was definitely a suprise but they will meet in another show again.

Well, Shaniera Akram called out Feroze Khan a few days ago on a video with his son in which he was driving and his son was sitting in his lap. Shaniera Akram called out Feroze Khan on putting his kid’s life in danger. Feroze Khan responded furiously, he called out Shaniera Akram too.

He said while he was improving as an actor, he was not getting enough work. Around two years went by without work and he wanted to run away. But the worse was yet to come. he had hit rock bottom and was living day to day. He had finally decided to go back.

But his struggle was finally paying off. One day an assistant friend of his called him saying that a known actor was offered a negative role but he was not interested anymore. The set was ready and they needed an actor. Imran made it to the set. The director screen tested him once and he got the part. But the struggle was not ready to end for good. He started to get typecast and people started to see him as a villian in real life, too. He says he was treated differently than the people who played negative roles.

But things have changed for him for the better. He says now he can choose the parts he wants to do. His Alif, Allah Aur Insaan act won him the best supporting actor award by Hum TV in Canada. His written serial Tabeer starring Iqra Aziz became a huge success and he is starring in ARY Digital’s Dil Moam Ka Diya which is leading the TRP charts.

He also shared the news of Wajahat Rauf’s come back in dramas and wrote, “Wajahat Rauf is returing to Dramas after a long time with this project. Thank you wajahat bhai. Zara Tareen who worked in his written play Mushk said that her character was disappeared from drama due to Covid but netizens are sane, they didn’t buy this reason, she said that her work was discontinued and she was labeled as a rude actor with tantrums on demand of basic accomodation, she further said that producers refused to respond her calls. Zara said, “It was a very important character and they were just trying to dumb it down, which I resisted so they came up with a reason to get rid of me. This happens a lot, it’s not just with me.”

Talking about this big accusation, Imran Ashraf said that he was unaware of any controversy or insecurities of Zara, he said, “writing for Zara is a pleasure, she aces her scenes so easily, Zara! I request you to say ‘Yes’ on my script, next time when I will be writing” he refused to reply to the other question, “if there were any such insecurities that really happened?”, he further said that he won’t reply more.

“I would like to add that we have tried a lot to give our best but sometimes we are helpless. After the 19th episodes things got messed up. We saved it from a big damage but I as a writer know our mistakes”, added Imran.

Further Imran said that “The audience is my boss. I’m trying to show something different. It took two and a half years to write Mushk. Only 4 to 5 episodes of Mushk are left behind. I can’t revel more about Mushk.”
