“We were shooting drama serial ‘Dil Diya Dahleez’, during the shoot we had an accident which broke my 12 bones. I survived there without any medication for 8 hours, with 12 broken bones, bleeding head and chin. My right side was totally fractured. I was moved to Karachi’s hospital from a highway through a truck.”, says Javeria.

Javeria further added that “They took me to Jinnah Hospital but there were no proper facilities so they shifted me to another hospital and after 8 hours I was medicated properly. Faysal Qureshi, Humayun Saeed and every other fellow actor visited me even the guard in our studio also came to meet me.”

“Faysal Qureshi is such a gentleman. My blood group is ‘O-negative’ and as everyone knows that O-negative blood is rare to find and at that moment we needed the blood in emergency. So Faysal Qureshi’s blood group matched to my blood group and he donated his blood. I’m really thankful to him”, added Javeria.

Javeria Abbasi is a well known television actress who has been attached to the entertainment industry for a very long time. Javeria Abbasi recently shifted from Karachi to Lahore when she started hosting ATV’s Morning Show “Meri Subha Haseen Hai”. Later, I found out he had personal grudges against the director. Where is that doctor now? Similarly, Raaja Rani is his (Faysal’s) project — let Nadia Khan say whatever she wants. The biggest critics are the viewers. They are the ones who truly pass or fail a project. These TV reviewers who mock actors make no real difference. Ironically, the channels they appear on earn and run through content based on mocking those same actors.”

Javed Sheikh, who has been ruling over the Pakistani film industry for decades, was approached to play Kareena’s father in the film which released last week and has been banned in Pakistan.

In an interview Javed Sheikh said that he was approached by Anil Kapoor’s office a year ago,

“I was approached by Anil Kapoor’s office over a year ago to play the role of Kareena’s father in the film,”

The veteran actor who has been seen in several Indian films shared that he held a meeting with the director and producer of the film and everything was finalised.

He continued adding that this was during the time Kareena was expecting her son, Taimur Ali Khan.

“My shooting dates had been set and my wardrobe was also ready. However, the shooting dates were changed as Kareena or the whole crew decided that it was difficult to shoot while she was expecting,”

He continued,

“However, by the time Kareena delivered her baby relations between Pakistan and India had worsened and the producers association there decided against casting Pakistani actors.”

Stating that Pakistani producers and exhibitors are casting Indian talent despite a ban on Pakistani talent across the border, Sheikh hoped Indian producers association would soon follow suit.

Javed Sheikh was a guest on Sajid Hasan’s show and he first talked in detail about bis mother. His love for her and how sh e always supported him.

He revealed that his father was not very keen on him becoming an actor but his mom used to support him. She did not even tell his father about his first project when he did a drama on radio. She always rescued him when he did a misadventure and was at his back throughout her life.

He also shared that his mother was a very simple lady. Hailing from a Kashmiri family and later on becoming a mother to a large family, she never had any luxuries but she never ever said anything negative about not having enough in life. She always remained content and helped her children grow better in their lives. He also said that he regrets that she died before seeing the stardom that he later achieved and wishes that she was with him when he became a superstar.

When asked who would he smile at, who would he take a selfie with and who would he politely ask to get down if he is in a lift with them, Javed Sheikh answered that he will smile and take a selfie with Imran Khan and ask both Shehbaz Sharif and Fazl ur Rehman to get down from the lift.
