The upcoming drama serial Moray saiyaan will be soon aired on the Ary Digital. The drama is directed by Nadeem Siddique, produced by Abdullah Seja and written by Rabia Razzaq. Uzair Jaswal will be doing the male lead role and Neha Rajppot will do teh female lead role. Below is the first look of the play, have a look.
The play which was previously titled as “Yeh Kaisi Mohabat Hai” and it’s title is now finalized as ” Bay Khudi”. SSP Chaudhry Aslam is a national hero who embraced martyrdom in a terrorist attack following his efforts to make Karachi clean from terrorist forces. He was targeted while on road at the Lyari Expressway in 2015. A film was announced to made on the life of the courageous officer.

Ary Films have released the first poster of their upcoming film “Azaadi”, starring Moammar Rana and Sonya Hussain.
Rest of the cast includes Nadeem Baig, Mariam Ansari, Erum Azam, Ali Fateh, Ali Bilal and Samama Randhawa. It is directed by Imran Malik and produced by Imran Malik and Irfan Malik.
The film is shot in Kashmir and the Northern areas of Pakistan and will be coming to Cinema screens in November of this year.
The movie looks like an action sequence. However, Soniya Hussain is in an entirely western ensemble, so we will have to wait for more of the movie to be revealed to get an idea of the actual plot.

There are so many actors in the Pakistani entertainment industry who have been associated with the industry ever since they were kids. Some of them simply followed in the footsteps of their parents. There are others who landed in acting either by chance or because they were really passionate about it. Before these actors joined the showbiz industry, they had other jobs which might surprise certain people. One thing is for sure, acting is not something someone can learn! Either you have it in you or you don’t. These actors definitely had it in them even though some of them were not really aware of the fact that they were born to act. It is also pleasing watching such big actors sharing their first jobs and first salaries without any inhibitions.
Here is a list of different jobs which Pakistani actors were doing before they joined showbiz and went on to become famous.
Mahira Khan is the ultimate superstar of the Pakistani drama industry. Who would have thought that someone as popular as Mahira Khan started earning at a young age because she wanted to bear her own finances?! Her first job was as a cashier in a store. She also openly and candidly shared her first salary. She was only 16 at the time.
Saboor Aly has got herself recognized more than ever nowadays. Interestingly enough, she was never interested in acting. Her mother pushed her to join the profession. She gave her first audition half-heartedly. Her first job was a PR job. She is proud of how much she managed to make with this marketing job which was her very first experience in the practical field.
Azekah Daniel has done some exceptional roles in the recent past. She always makes her presence felt in every drama. Azekah did not plan a career in showbiz. In fact, her first job as a youngster was that of laboratory assistant for a Biology professor.
Humayun Saeed is the most sought-after Pakistani actor. However, he is not one of those actors who always dreamed of becoming performers. He started his career as a general manager at a garment factory where he was spotted by someone and was asked to do modeling. Humayun Saeed decided to take up that offer but he could never have imagined that something he opted for fun would change his whole life. After his first modeling shoot, he got many offers for acting and that is when he decided that he loved performing in front of the camera. There was no looking back after that.
Adnan Siddiqui has ruled the television screen for decades. He has worked across the border as well. He worked as a banker after doing his MBA. He joined an advertising agency later on when the bank he worked in collapsed. This turn of fate landed him in the showbiz industry when someone suggested that he should start modeling.
Sajal Aly’s popularity and talent both are unprecedented. Many people might not know that Sajal Aly started working to support her family financially. Her first job wasn’t an acting venture but she took up the job of working as a brand promotion girl at a mall. At first, when she auditioned she was not accepted in the field of acting because of her voice which was too shrill according to the people who rejected her!
Zara Noor Abbas is another actress whose journey as an actor has been quite interesting. She has given multiple winning performances and won over the viewers. Zara is not one of those celebrities who started their careers as child actors even though her khala Bushra Ansari was a well-known celebrity. Her first job was that of a teacher at a school for people with special needs. Later on, she worked in an advertising agency as an intern.
Ali Abbas is another phenomenal actor who has often impressed the viewers with his craft. Although Ali Abbas’ father Waseem Abbas and even his grandfather were part of the showbiz industry, his father did not want him to join showbiz. As a result of that, he studied LLB and even practiced law while he studied for CSS! Ali Abbas was hence a practicing lawyer and an aspirant civil servant before he started acting.
Zahid Ahmed is another ace actor who has worked really hard to earn the position he enjoys right now. Some of you might be surprised to know that Zahid Ahmed’s first job was at a call center and his salary was 5000 rupees monthly. He is gifted with an amazing voice therefore he, later on, worked as an RJ as well.
Sheheryar Munawar is an actor, producer, and director who also started his career in a completely different field. He did his graduation from IBA Karachi in finance and marketing. His first job was with a German Venture Capitalist company which proved to be a great experience for him. Later on, he went to the university and that is when he was offered his first acting project Zindagi Gulzar Hei.

Newlywed Sadaf Kanwal and Shahroz Sabzwari are appearing for the first time together after marriage in an Eid Telefilm.
In an interview, Shahroz Sabzwari and Sadaf Kanwal shared details of their upcoming project.
Shahroz Sabzwari said, “We are doing Eid telefilm for ARY Digital and its name is Ghar Kay Na Ghaat Kay. As you can see I have a moustache and she (Sadaf Kanwal) looks simple because we are in character.”
Sadaf Kanwal said, “I am not that simple but I look simple because of my character. My character is very amazing. The story is about two sisters and their husbands.”
“Javed Sheikh is playing the role of mamu and Sadaf’s father and Shehroz’s father-in-law. Javed Sheikh is a rich man and he takes care of his daughter’s husbands so the story revolves around it.”
Talking about their working experience together, Sadaf Kanwal said, “So now we are married it is very good and the comfort level in on top.”
Shahroz Sabzwari said, “Oh I love it! I always love working with her and this is the second time we are working together. The first time was in Oslo, Norway. She is quite professional and I must say we come on set together and as soon as we arrive on the set, the professionalism starts. In some cases, people think that if one is late the other one will be late too but in our case, we take work as work and thoroughly enjoy it.”
Shahroz Sabzwari further revealed, “It is related to Eid and its family story. Our purpose was to if I and Sadaf work together then it should be something different. As people have never seen me in moustache and as Sadaf is a supermodel she will be doing a comedy role so it will bring a new flavour. We thought this is a good opportunity to become what we are not and on set everyone was enjoying it”
Sadaf shared her experience of doing a comedy role and said, “I have done a film Balu Mahi and my director said I do good comedy. Also when I am with Shahroz we joke about things and yes so I thought I should give it a try”.
Talking about their chemistry, Shahroz Sabwari shared, “Generally, when we are together we laugh so much and our timings match which is very good.”
“Other than that Javed mamu is here too and he loves her a lot so automatically there is the lots of love and warmth,” he added.

The importance of the opening episode of a drama cannot be undermined. Most people decide whether they want to continue watching a drama or not based on how engaging and appealing the first episode is. Having said that, first impressions can sometimes be misleading as well.
A drama with a great first episode might turn out to be a disappointment in the coming weeks. Similarly, a drama with an average opening might pleasantly surprise the viewers as the story moves forward. If you are a drama buff then, in my opinion, you should give every promising drama at least one chance. Sometimes we miss out on amazing dramas just because we weren’t expecting them to deliver. I watched the first episodes of all the recent dramas so that I can help people decide what they should be tuning in to.
These are my first impressions of the latest Pakistani dramas which recently started. I won’t be giving the storylines away in this article, just a general, first impression of the opening episodes.

It seldom happens that you watch a drama with absolutely no expectations but end up really liking it. I watched the first episode of Tarap solely to share my first impression about it and not because I was planning to watch this drama in the long run. Well, guess what! Tarap’s first episode was so engaging and well-put-together that I had to scroll down and see the credits list.
Yes! I did not even bother checking who the writer, director, and producers were beforehand because like I said, I wasn’t really planning to watch it. Tarap is a 9 pm drama which usually means that it does not have enough substance to fit the 8 pm slot. After watching this first episode, however, I must say that it deserved a better slot unless 9 pm is the new 8 pm ;)
Tarap has multiple tracks, it also has some of the best actors in the industry, few new faces and the aspect which appealed to me the most was the strong screenplay and effective dialogues. As far as first episodes go, this was hands down my favorite. Tarap also has an old-feel to it, not in terms of the visuals but in terms of the overall storyline and execution.
Those of you who have watched dramas produced by Babar Javed will get his signature vibe from it. After watching the first few scenes, I was certain that this was not solely an MD Productions and I am honestly wondering if that was the reason why this drama did not get an 8 pm slot.
Tarap attempts to highlight certain social issues like most of the dramas produced by Babar Javed. It can easily pass as a family drama which might have something for everyone. Most of the performances in this first episode were on point and the opening scene of this first episode was the best among all the dramas which aired this week.
This first episode was intriguing and even though some of the performances were slightly shaky, the more experienced actors made up for that. Technically, this first episode of Tarap had a lot going for it.

If you have watched Dil Ruba’s promos and liked them then you will definitely like this first episode as well.This first episode did not work for me since there was nothing exciting about the script or the casting. Dil Ruba’s first episode focused entirely on the ‘Dil Ruba’, Hania Aamir! This first episode was a lot like that of other dramas that revolve around a strong female protagonist.
Dil Ruba promises to be a light-hearted drama. I found this first episode somewhat repetitive since so many scenes focused on the carefree and flirtatious nature of the female protagonist. Few minutes into this first episode, I wanted to see something other than that!
This first episode of Dil Ruba reminded me of the first episode of Jhooti even though the female protagonist in this drama doesn’t have a negative streak. Hania Aamir’s character is similar to the one she is playing in Ishqiya except that this one is more playful. The equation between the two sisters is also similar to the one in Ishqiya.
The sidetracks in Dil Ruba involve family politics. I did not find this first episode too appealing although I truly like Hania Aamir but I am tired of watching her playing similar roles. Hania Aamir needs to step out of her comfort zone since she is capable of playing different roles.
The dialogues and the situations in this first episode of Dil Ruba too were nothing exciting. Although, I am pretty sure that Dil Ruba has all the right ingredients to be a commercial hit. I am also wondering what happened to Mohib’s acting skills and why did he decide to take up this project since he is hardly seen on television nowadays, he should have chosen a better drama. The character he is playing is the male version of all the bechari heroines we see on screen all the time and his below-average performance isn’t helping.

Sabaat is the most star-studded drama in the list with not one but two leading actresses of the Pakistani drama industry in its star cast. The leading men, however, are relatively new. Usman Mukhtar is probably the biggest reason why most people watched this first episode. He did not make an appearance in the first episode which basically shows that the producers want the fans to wait for his entry!
The first episode of Sabaat was decent enough, it wasn’t the kind of episode that blows you away but it definitely had some likable elements. Since Shehzad Kashmiri has directed this drama, therefore, the fact that the opening episode was a visual treat was no surprise. This episode was a mix of some clichés and certain elements that were refreshing. The best part of this episode was that few of the characters were appealing enough to be a reason to look forward to more.
Out of all the episodes that aired this week, Sabaat’s opening episode was the most fast-paced. Some of the developments were not convincing and few performances too left a lot to be desired. This opening episode did, however, suggest that Sabaat has potential, it should not be missed.

Out of all the first episodes which aired this week, Meher Posh was the most difficult one to sit through since there was a lot of shouting and little substance in it. It covered family politics and marriage preparations. It laid the perfect foundation for the misunderstanding which is going to be covered sooner than anticipated.
This drama was promoted a lot by the producers because it stars Ayeza Khan and Danish Taimoor, the real-life couple which is sharing screen space in a serial for the first time after they got married. Sania Saeed and Rehan Sheikh were another attraction for fans who trust their choices. I must say that the kind of ‘openness’ which was shown in master sahab’s house did not work for me at all.
The good thing was that for a change Ayeza Khan is being shown as a working woman. The first impression of her character wasn’t as clichéd as I had anticipated but her performance was slightly over the top. Also, it is good to see Danish Taimoor not playing the rich and spoiled man for a change.
The characters overall, however, were plain, Iffat Omer’s shouting was unbearable – this is the kind of role Saba Hameed usually plays in dramas minus the screaming! The parents’ relationship was sweet but the physical closeness was unnecessary.
This was definitely the most average first episode which aired this week. I did not like the dialogues or the treatment given to some of the leading characters. I doubt I will be tuning in to this one, which is rather sad because Danish Taimoor and Ayeza Khan could have put their star power to good use by choosing a better project to work in!
I was hoping the actual drama would be better than the teasers but it has the potential to be another Thora Sa Haq! After watching this first episode I am pretty sure Ayeza Khan should take a break or do something new.

Imran Khan’s third marriage to Bushra Bibi was abrupt. Not much was known about the lady who became Mrs. Khan initially. However, details started pouring out then and media had many strange questions about the circumstances of the marriage. Many people said that Bushra Bibi married Imran even before completing her Iddat after she got divorced from the first husband.
Bushra Bibi did not mind the question and went on to clarify that she had completed her Iddat and in fact married Imran Khan after 6 to 7 months of completing her Iddat. She refuted all the baseless claims and had to say this about all those rumours:

Shahroz Sabzwari and Sadaf Kanwal made an appearance in Nida Yasir’s morning show, Good Morning Pakistan. In the show, they gave answers to many questions and played games.
Nida Yasir asked Sadaf Kanwal that what was the first gift that Shahroz gave to Sadaf. Sadaf said: “He gave me a bag”. Nida then asked that did she like Shahroz’s choice? Sadaf said: “Shahroz’s choice is so classy that I was like wow”.
Nida asked a similar question to Shahroz, he said that his favorite perfume wasn’t available in Pakistan. Sadaf somehow managed to get that perfume. When she gave it to Shahroz he said that he is not going to take it since it was made in France. They then get that changed and faced trouble. Shahroz said that he always asks Sadaf to ask him before gifting anything to him.

Pakistani music has always been growing, now more than ever due to platforms like Pepsi battle of the bands, Nescafe Basement and Coke Studio.
First ever new military reality show “60 Hours To Glory” is all set to air on our TV screens soon. The 26-episode series will show a military competition with teams from around the world and will highlight soldiers’ struggles. 60 Hours to Glory will air on Hum TV and PTV.
The reality TV show is based on “one of the toughest military competitions” called the Pakistan Army Team Spirit, where the contestants will be eight local teams and four international teams. The local team that wins the competition will get a chance to represent the nation at the Cambrian Patrol, a competition hosted by the British Armed Forces where over 140 teams from the around the world come to compete. In the past, Pakistani teams have won the competition five times. “The entire show is based on reality, no re enactments.

A few days ago, an entertainment channel, 23 News announced that they are coming with a unique game show named ‘Our Guess Tonight’ which will be hosted by none other than Fawad Khan.
This is the first time that Fawad Khan is hosting a game show and people were excited to see him.
Well, the show is finally here and the first episode of Our Guess Tonight has been released featuring Sanam Saeed and Fahad Mustafa.
“In the show, two guests will be doing a competition. In the competition, they will be given lists and both the participants will guess the words within a limited time. They can give each other clues but not speak the exact words. The game is simple and super entertaining,” said Fawad Khan.
In the beginning, Fawad Khan wished Fahad Mustafa for his upcoming film ‘Quaid-e-Adam Zindabad’ and also Sanam Saeed for her film ‘Ishrat, Made In China’.
Both of the guests wished Fawad Khan for his most awaited film Maula Jatt.
Fahad Mustafa and Sanam Saeed played the game in the most fun way. Both the participants did well in the game show.
Sanam Saeed won the game and she scored fourteen points while as Fahad Mustafa scored only ten points.
The show ended and Fawad Khan said that he will come next week with other celebrities and its a surprise for the audience.

Fire erupted today in Ary network’s headquarters, Salam zindagi’s Studio and Shan e Ramzan’s studio got completely burnt. But there are no reports of casualties as per sources.
The fire has been contained and everything is under control, but due to the incident Ary’s transmission was stopped being aired temporarily till the time the studios were fixed
