As soon as I logged into my Facebook account, I came across this video and was shocked to see that a female model fell on ramp. Now you people must be thinking that whats with it, Reema also fell on ramp. But after seeing this video, I thought that how gracefully Reema handled when her shoe heel broke; Even after that, she completed her whole round on ramp and walked back confidently. And this local model slipped or fell not once but TWICE and the “after effects” of falling down were equally watchable :P

Enjoying a huge fan following, Ahsan Khan has always taken new moves in his career by picking roles that made him a renowned versatile actor. Whether it be David of “Parsa” or Meerab of “Na kaho tum mere nahi”, Ahsan has proved himself as an actor by nature who knows how to grab the attention of viewers. It has been seen that a part from acting, Ahsan has always taken interest in other domains within the showbiz industry to show that his talents are not limited.

Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has reportedly summoned actor Saba Qamar on May 16 for evasion of taxes.

The FBR has reportedly sent a notice to the actor to explain a discrepancy in her filed income taxes. The actor’s income taxes filed for the year 2014-2015 are being audited, as reported by a source.

The source also added,

“Saba Qamar’s filed income taxes do not match her lifestyle. Further investigation will be conducted on details presented by the actor and then her income taxes filed for the years 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 will also be audited,”

However, Saba Qamar denied receiving any notice from the FBR.

“I have not received any notice. This happens every year and I am used to it by now.”

In September last year, a notification from the FBR stated that Saba Qamar had been found to be a tax evader. The FBR had stated Qamar had defaulted on tax worth Rs3.4 million.

It was also reported that the board had sealed the actor’s house as she did not respond to notices.

However, the starlet had dismissed the reports saying,

“My house has not been sealed, neither has my bank account. I’m a tax filer. It’s very disappointing that channels are circulating such news without finding out the truth. These channels have no credibility as they have been spreading such rumours.”

While the last date to file income tax returns is 30 November, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has also issued income tax notices of worth millions to leading singers. As per news reports Rahat Fateh Ali has been sent a notice of 300 million (30 crore). Ali Zafar is asked to pay 210 million (21 crore). Atif Aslam is also served with a notice of 170 million (17 crore).

All these singers are earning in millions, they demand millions for one concert. Atif Aslam charge 3.5 to 4 million for one show and total amount is paid in advance. Rahat Fateh Ali  charge 3.5 to 4 million for one show and 10 million for any show abroad.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is a big name in the Music Industry. He is a renowned Pakistani Artist who has earned a massive acknowledgment across the globe too. World’s renowned educational institute ‘Oxford University’ awarded him a Doctorate degree, “doctor of music” in recognition of his prestigious work. Rahat is a nephew of Legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

Renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan seems to be under the watch of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) again. The tax collection authority has launched a probe into the income generated from his concerts abroad. 

The FBR has requested the aid of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in order to assess Khan’s money trail. FBR has sought the travel history of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for the last six years. The letter also asked the FIA to provide details of all foreign trips of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan from July 1, 2014, to date. 

Meanwhile, the super star’s team has claimed that no message from the FBR has reached Rahat Fateh Ali yet. “We haven’t received any notice from FBR as of yet.  We are currently looking into the matter,” Khan’s manager Muhammad Amir, told to a private TV channel.

This is not the first time, the singer has come under the radar of FBR in regard to his taxes. Back in 2017, the bank accounts of the singer were seized in the case of tax evasion. At the time, the FBR had maintained that action was taken due to non-payment of income tax worth more than Rs3 million in 2015. 

Earlier in 2011, the singer was summoned to the Lahore Regional Tax Office after returning from a foreign tour. At that time, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan had appealed for ignorance of Pakistani tax laws and procedures and promised to submit tax returns henceforth.
