Recently, Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza shared horrific details about what is happening to blasphemy prisoners in jails, details that can shock anyone with a sane mind. These facts often come to light during cases and official documentation, and it is important to talk about this issue. I know you may think it is a secondary matter, but I believe we need to discuss it. Other issues are not directly related to Allah and are dealt with leniency, but issues like blasphemy are dealt with through harsh punishments. As a Muslim, I believe that whatever cruelty is done in the name of Allah carries severe consequences. The blasphemy laws in Pakistan are extremely harsh. We cannot achieve success, prosperity, or progress as a nation if such laws remain unchecked. Normal laws have room for relaxation, but blasphemy laws impose excessively severe punishments. This is why many of our other problems remain unresolved—because in Pakistan, cruelties are committed in the name of Allah. If we abandon or properly control these laws, perhaps we can flourish.
He further added, “There is friction between those who enforce blasphemy laws and those who are pro status quo, and both sides blame each other. I want betterment in these blasphemy laws. I respect those who deal with these matters, but I request them to reconsider. I am not secular; I come from a religious school of thought. It is not right to treat people so harshly. Moreover, these laws are not even fully in accordance with Fiqh-e-Hanafi. I am giving the Hanafi example because it is followed by the majority. In Fiqh-e-Hanafi, only direct and unambiguous blasphemy carries the harsh penalty. However, in Pakistan, almost anything can be labeled as blasphemy. This should not be the case, as innocent people become victims. This issue needs serious reconsideration.”

In a recent tweet, Hamza Ali Abbasi has disclosed that he was in the process of writing a book about God. “In the process of writing a book. Obviously it’ll be about God :-) Hoping to be done by June 2021 Insha Allah. Will be a little inactive on social media because of that,” he shared.
The actor made headlines earlier this year when he revealed he was stepping back from acting in a 23-minute video titled ‘From Atheism to Islam’. “I look at all my trophies, that mattered a lot to me because it was the symbol of my hard work being rewarded, and I wonder about what these awards will mean after I die. To my children and grandchildren, these will mean nothing, they’re just pieces of metal,” he said.
Further he mentioned “There were only two things I saw continue after my death; serving humanity with charity and what not – which is compulsory anyway – and devoting my life to God. I want to spend the rest of my life talking about God and spreading His message. Call it religious activistism, call it a declaration or whatever, but now I want to talk about God.”
Later, he clarified that he just took a long break from acting and hadn’t quit entirely.
Hamza Ali Abbasi is finalized in the cast of upcoming film Mola Jutt 2 directed by Bilal Lashaari. At a television show Hamza told, the opposite female artist is still yet to be finalized (hopefully it is not Saima Noor since it is a gujjar/gandasa type film) and he is excited about his role in this film.
It will be interesting to know whether Hamza is playing the role of Mola Jutt (Sultan Rahi) or Noori Nat(Mustafa Qureshi). Mola Jutt 2 will be the second film of Bilal Lashari after block buster film Waar.
