He said, “We want to keep PEMRA busy, they also have the heart to do something. So you see, I say to every blogger and others that if we don’t make this kind of dramas what are you going to talk about? At least we are giving you something to talk about. Same is with PEMRA, we have great interactions with PEMRA. They have been very kind.”

To justify his controversial dramas, Fahad Mustafa gave the example of Ishq-e-Mamnoon drama and said, “When that drama went on air streets used to get empty what was happening in that serial? If I keep Shakespeare’s Macbeth then it will be a classy thing but if I am doing it then it will be Jalan. Its as simple as that so you see adaptation or central idea can come from anywhere.”

“In a nutshell, everybody saw it (Jalan) and it hit them so its fine but if anyone finds it uncomfortable then I still completely disagree with. As you see many people are working on one agenda because they have nothing else to do so its okay,” Fahad Mustafa added.

According to the latest news Fahad Mustafa has decided to quit hosting Hum TV’s Morning Show Jago Pakistan Jago. Fahad Mustafa has been attached with Hum TV for a few years but as we can see now that after he set up his production house, he has been more involved with ARY. Also, a production house needs a great deal of attention which he can only give if he has more time. He is also acting in almost all of the plays that are being made by his production house.

The sequel of one of the biggest hit of Pakistani cinema, ‘Jawani Phir Nahi Aani’, is set to hit the floors in March with some changes in the lead cast. Hamza Ali Abbasi who refused to take part JPNA promotions due to the controversy, will not be joining the cast for JPNA 2.

Fahad Mustafa has been on a roll for the promotions of his upcoming film Quaid e Azam Zindabad. He has been on a press junket and giving interviews and playing games at different places. Things got a bit crazy however, as he came into contact with a fandom that he probably did not know about.

He shared during an interview that his daughter Fatima is a BTS fan and listen to all their songs. He is not a fan though and does not listen to them. The way he shared this bit of information struck a cord with BTS fans and they started attacking Fahad Mustafa for his “disrespectful opinion”.

The recently release teaser for upcoming film Tich Button has created a riot in Pakistan. The teaser and the film’s actor Farhan Saeed are currently the top trends on Twitter.

With amazing performances and a very catchy teaser, Tich Button has currently become the most highly anticipated film of the year. Farhan Saeed, Iman Aly, Feroze Khan and Sonya Hussyn will star as the lead in Tich Button, which is being directed by Qasim Ali Mureed and produced by Urwa Hocane, Jerjees Seja and also Salman Iqbal.

Also, it seems, we aren’t the only ones the Tich Button teaser impressed. Actor, host and producer Fahad Mustafa, who himself has delivered one hit after another was all praises for Tich Button’s teaser.

On the work front, Fahad Mustafa himself is currently shooting for Nabeel Qureshi’s Quaid E Azam Zindabad opposite Mahira Khan. The film is slated to release in the next half of 2020.

People felt a connection to the character taking the film Quaid e Azam Zindabad as one of the highest grossers of the year 2022. Now, Fahad Mustafa has become a real life police officer after playing the smashing Gulab in Quaid e Azam Zindabad. Recently, we have seen a very interesting banter between Amir Liaqat and Fahad Mustafa, which thankfully is more playful than insulting. Fahad Mustafa is a huge star. The actor has done a lot of work and has worked really hard to make a place for himself in the industry. He said that Fahad should have had learnt a bit about cricket before he compared Mohammad Aamir to the legendary Waseem Akram. Fahad did not take his comments easy and asked to switch off his mike.

In his latest interview with Nauman Ijaz, he talked in detail about films. Fahad Mustafa while sharing his thoughts about films, said, “I think we were doing good, our films were witnessing growth until 2019. Actually, things eventually went bad. I think the businesses that grow rapidly, also fall down rapidly, the evil eye struck us, things got worsened during Covid. Also, the political situation has hit us really badly after which Indian films were banned, it affected cinema. In Pakistan, the TV industry has a very deep bond with the audience. The film industry does not have that.”

On a question about local filmmakers’ work, he said, “If I will ask you to name five good films, you will not be able to tell about them and If I will ask you about films’ songs, even the singers here will not be able to answer about them, which pretty much tells that we haven’t delivered anything significant yet. Accepting our mistakes is good, that way, we can move forward. We need to make 70 to 80 films per year, out of which 10 to 15 of the films should be the films that can be owned by us. From the rest, one filmmaker will be filtered out each year who’ll struggle to do better next time.”
