Zara Shahjahan is an ace Pakistani fashion designer. Zara has made her substantial mark in the world of fashion due to her brilliant designs. Zara Shahjahan’s speciality is her handcrafted Bridal wears, Luxury Pret and amazing Lawn prints.

Zara’s unique designs are loved by the ladies. She has designed for the top Pakistani celebrities including Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari for her wedding. Well, the designer’s beautiful bridal outfits and lawn designs always get popular and copied by the other designers as well. Last year, many designers and brands have been found copying Zara Shahjahan’s designs and prints. A few brands copied her lawn prints, style and colors with a slight difference.

Now, the designer is annoyed with being copied by the designers and brands that she has come up with an announcement regarding it. Earlier today, Zara took an important announcement to her Instagram, she posted, “Please please please. Stop, copying me. Honestly you guys are very talented and if you really put pressure on your brains, I promise you can come up with amazing ideas.”

Well, under the post public is tagging all the brands and designers who have copied her designs. They were also saying that many brands are copying her for sure. One or two people were blaming her that she also does the same and copy others and this practice goes on!. There have been a lot of speculations about Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari’s wedding dress ever since she got married to Mahmood Choudhry last month. Recently designer Wardha Saleem was spotted in an interview with BBBC Urdu. “Neither did we use a gold wire nor did we put in diamonds on this dress,” said the designer Wardha Saleem, laughing as she spoke to BBC Urdu.

Wardha said that her brand uses the most decent designs for bridal dresses. She revealed that Bakhtawar’s bridal dress contained the most high-quality and decent material from local markets in Pakistan. “Bakhtawar’s chiffon was handmade locally. As a brand, we make use of the best local material [for bridal dresses] available in Pakistan,” she said.

When asked whether she felt nervous on designing the dress for Bakhtawar’s big day, she said it wasn’t true. “You can say we were excited and not under pressure,” adding that the team enjoyed working on the dress knowing how much confidence Bakhtawar had on their brand. Wardha referred to Bakhtawar as a “dream bride” for any brand, saying that in the very first few meetings held between the two to discuss the dress, Bakhtawar told them that she didn’t have any doubt on their capabilities.

“We did hold a few discussions on the customization of the dress,” she said. “However, Bakhtawar never interfered in our work. It took 45 craftsmen to work on Bakhtawar’s bridal dress, they spent a massive 7,000 hours in making the dress. The reason why this dress took so long is because it is handwoven and we used the finest material available. We worked on it for 7 months and for two to three months, we worked double 24 hour shifts,” she added.

Wardha mentioned that after one or two meetings, our approach was so strong that anything else wasn’t needed. “It often happens that when bridal dresses are being made, clients often ask their designers to send them pictures of the dress. However, I personally think this happens when clients do not trust their designers. I think another reason this happens is because everyone has dreams about his/her big day and they want everything to be perfect. However, Bakhtawar wasn’t like that at all and trusted us completely,” said Wardha.

From making beautiful bridal outfits to creating iconic looks, Fahad Hussayn has done it all. But unfortunately due to his poor business decisions the brand has gone under bankruptcy.

The iconic designer took to social media and shared, “For as long as I can remember , art & fashion is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life , spending more than a decade learning the crafts & building my brand to what I always thought it should be.”

“I completely failed to realise my biggest shortcomings , as an artist I’ve struggled with business skills , I thought with time and resources I could make my vision come to life on my own , but sadly not everything works out the way you want , maybe I don’t want to do the business , I just want to keep on creating art ,hence , with a heavy heart , Thank you to each one of you who shared your most precious moments with us with your beauty and je ne sais quois!”

He shared his journey and wrote, “Fahad Hussayn as a brand is proud and very grateful for the amazing journey through the years creating iconic looks, memorable fashion moments and generations of beautiful brides through our work.”

Fahad Hussayn announced, “In turnout to events that did not work in our favour, the brand has undergone bankruptcy and with a heavy heart, We are stepping down from business and bid you all adieu for this chapter in our story.”
