Today on the 5th anniversary of her passing, her mother spoke to Independent Urdu about her journey and how much she misses her daughter. She revealed that Zara always wanted to be a doctor but the financial conditions of the family made her step into modelling. She became a son of the house and supported them all after her father’s death. Zara Abid was a shoulder everyone could lean on and she was really hardworking. She revealed that she still has recordings of her voice which she listens to.

Zara Abid’s mother revealed that Zara told her in the last call that she will give her a surprise but the surprise that came has stayed with her since last 5 years. Zara’s mother complained that the industry really forgot her daughter and there were no memorials arranged for her when she was a very hardworking part of it. She believes that a documentary should be made on Zara’s life on how she fought against the odds and found success.

PIA passenger plane crashed before minutes of landing and it was carrying around 95 passengers and 8 crew members.

Anum Hussain is an emerging Pakistani television actress who plays the character of Shahbano in Zanjeerain which is getting a huge public and critical acclaim. Replying to Nadia’s question, “Is it true that the scenes from Zanjeerain were deleted?” Anum Hussain said, “It is true that every multiple scenes were deleted from the drama but I didn’t feel it much for myself. Yes, I can say that they used my initial takes for an important scene, I had multiple takes with variations but they used the first clip and maybe they thought it was my better performance. I am not sure what exactly happened but I am not the kind of actor who is keen to watch herself on the monitor. All of my scenes were there in the drama, but they shortened a few scenes. I didn’t find my dialogues in the drama. I don’t believe that the scenes were cut on someone’s demand, they weren’t deliberately cut , probably it was the need of the story.Watch here
