Zahid Ahmed talked about his family in the show and also about his personal likes and dislikes. Sanam Jung has also revamped her show. Titled Tou Dil Ka Kia Hua, the play stars Ahmed as Saif, who’s a criminal, opposite Ayeza Khan of Pyarey Afzal fame. “It’s a very twisted and complicated love story,” Zahid Ahmed told Instep. “I’m playing the antagonist.”

The actor also informed that Tou Dil Ka Kia Hua also stars Sami Khan in the lead role and a few other notable actors whose stories are interlinked in the play.

“It’s going to be one hell of a play; the storyline is extremely interesting,” he shared. “Ayeza and I have started shooting for the play and it will air sometime in summer.”

“There is enough drama in the world, the society has completely changed. Karachi is the second most popular city when it comes to marijuana consumption so we should talk about it. My sons are growing and in their surroundings, people use it because it’s common,” he said.

“In Islamabad, crystal meth is being sold in school campuses and crystal meth is death. The person who uses it dies in 2-3 years.”

Zahid Ahmed talked about drugs and said, “Why are we not talking about it? When will we talk about it? Why are you judging it as a sin? It is in our society and I have made a whole video on this topic on my channel. If you see youngsters they say that marijuana and hash are not haraam in Islam and it has no side effects.”

Talking about his experience, he said, “It’s my 10-15 years of experience and I want to say, if it has no side effect then it has no advantage as well. When I left drugs I felt a lot of change. “

“I can say when you are high it becomes damn easy to not give a damn about anything and because of this people use it. After listening to this, it must sound positive but if you see it from another perspective it is about ‘you are not giving damn about anything in life’. When you are high you are not giving damn about relationships and not bother about anything in life. You are detached, numb, and it is an easy escape from life. You stop growing as a person completely,” Zahid Ahmed added.

Zahid Ahmed advised the youth to think about this and stop using drugs because its harmful for your mental health and physical health.

“In Faryad I focused on this one fact that this guy is a disaster himself. He has no moral compass what so ever. I have played several twisted characters before but those characters twisted for a reason and this guy in Faryad has no reason”, he added.

Further Zahid said that “The message this serial will give to the audience is that upbringing of a child is a very important thing and if it goes wrong then there is very little damage control you can do.”

Zahid Ahmed has started his Youtube channel where he shared how to be regular in Namaz and how we can get close to Allah (S.W.T) by offering prayers.

Before sharing his message, he cleared that he doesn’t care if people are going to criticize this video because an actor is teaching them how to be regular in Namaz. “It doesn’t matter if you’re an actor, doctor, mirasi or chef. It is the beauty of our religion that the purpose of life is to serve Allah and get close to Him,” he said.

Zahid Ahmed reveling about the ending of Mohabbat Tujhe Alvida mentioned that “I think the second last episode of Mohabbat Tujhe Alvida was aired last week. We are never sure about the number of episodes as an actor.”

“We just shoot the drama which we are supposed to do. After editing we never know the duration period of that drama. It’s never the number on the script. This script however consisted of 30 episodes probably”, added Zahid.

Further Zahid answering to the question of conclusion of drama said that “In the last episode the drama will be finished. Further I don’t want to give any comment about the ending of the drama.”

Taking inspiration from something and adapting it is fine, but you have taken it in a way that when the first teaser was out whole country started screaming Judai Judai so then u have copied it that I didn’t sign on for. I would never want to take part in a plagiarized play”

He has worked in blockbuster drama serials and currently working in Mohabbat Tujhey Alvida alongside Sonya Hussain and Mansha Pasha.

Recently, he has appeared in an interview with Voice Over Man and he had given interesting advice for the fellow actors.

The host asked whether these actors should carry on their work or not. The host took the name of Ushna Shah, Feroze Khan and Zahid Ahmed said they should carry on their work

However, when the host took the name of Muneeb Butt, Zahid Ahmed said, “Don’t carry on. Butta is my friend and I want to advise him that its time for a change.”

“He should bring drastic change to his visual and maybe due to that he may get different offers of characters. He appears as a beautiful, chikna and very clean man but he needs to come as maila (unclean and rough) man,” Zahid Ahmed added.

Zahid Ahmed came to Sanam Jung’s morning show Jago Pakistan Jago for promotions of his play Daldal. The show was a bit different than normal morning show fiascos. It was an interview with the actor and Sanam asked him a lot of questions about his personal life. Zahid also gave an insight into his personal life.

Zahid has two sons Zaviyar 3 and Zayaan 1. His wife Amna is a business woman and she runs a facebook store which deals with women bags and similar stuff. Zahid told Sanam that his wife has always been very self-sufficient and does not want to endorse her work in any way as she believes in doing her business on her own.

He also told Sanam that he has started refraining from being too active on social media now as he believes the distance between an actor and his audience should be maintained. Looks like Shaan Sahid’s overexposure statement has got a new follower. Zahid said that Daldal is his first drama which is social issue based and deals with the reality prevailing in the society.

Zahid never remembers his wedding anniversary either and told Sanam that his wife is very understanding and accommodating about his career demands. Muneeb Butt later joined the show and Sanam and Zahid made a lot of fun of his philosophical statements. Zahid also said he has named both of his sons as he wanted his children to have names with letter Z and meanings were his second priority.

One of the most handsome and demanding actors of Pakistan television industry, Zahid Ahmed, has finally decided to make his film debut this year. 

Zahid Ahmed will be sharing the screen with the gorgeously talented and prominent Saba Qamar. Zahid signed his first film, Sorry – The Love Story, but the film is still on hold. Zahid’s quality as an actor is he chooses the character that many will dismiss. The role of Sameer – Sameera in his recent drama Ishq Zah-e-Naseeb is a great example. 

The shooting of the film will start at the end of February in Karachi. “If I were to look at the story and the character on offer with the same lens that I use to judge offers on television, I would have probably said no to this film because this is out and out commercial, comedy entertainer,” Zahid admits. “But the decision to ultimately do this was also because of the same reasons – a good entertainer with a good level of comedy that strays away from slapstick, goofy and crassness. Having a co-star like the amazing Saba Qamar, a good writer, strong director, and a holistically well-known production were some of the other reasons that drew me towards this project. This is me finally putting myself out there, stepping into the arena with a very safe bet.” 

The untitled film project of Zahid Ahmed opposite to Saba Qamar is scheduled to release on Eid-ul-Azha 2020. Let’s wait to see Zahid Ahmed for the first time on the big screen. 

Zahid Ahmed did not enter the television industry in his teens like most of our stars who have become very famous. He struggled a lot before getting where he is today. Sharing the details about his next project he said that it was a play written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar and the working title of the play was “Zara Yaad Kar”. Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar is known for his tragic love stories. The fans will enjoy watching Zahid Ahmed play the role of Khalil-ur-Rehman’s on-screen hero.

His fans also want to see him working in Bollywood. So, is Zahid Ahmed going to work in Bollywood anytime soon? His reply was,

 “Nahin. I will want to do a Pakistani film first. And if I like how it goes, I’ll never leave.”

 Answering another fan on the same question he gave a different reply. He said,

 “They are a hostile nation who have no respect so I don’t give a damn about them or their Industry.”

Another interesting plan which Zahid Ahmed has in store for the future is that he plans to give acting classes soon. Zahid Ahmed’s voice is considered one of his most valuable assets along with his talent. Talking about his voice he said,

“it puts the babies to sleep and keeps the ladies up!!”

Zahid Ahmed was very candid with his fans. Talking about his own personality he said,

“I am not serious at all… In fact my family often has to beg me to be serious.”

Talking about actors who work extra hard to look good Zahid Ahmed said,

“No one asked them to make six packs or whiten their skin… This is silly bollywood mentality… Audience maangti hai performance… Wohi yaad rehti hai..”

We won’t be seeing Zahid Ahmed play a comic role because he thinks,

 “I looooooove comedy… But I think all my female fans wouldn’t want to see me doing comedy anytime soon… It breaks the charm of an intense actor.”

He wants the industry to pay everyone on time specially the junior artists so it’s important to put a foot down and then they will be paid on time. He did that once. When payments started getting delayed, He just didn’t turn up on set. The problem got sorted out very promptly after that.

He also emphasizes on the fact that rating is not the only thing that matters for which we keep running after the same stories of extra marital affairs and the relationship between mother in law and a daughter in law.
