Singer Maha Ali Kazmi, who worked with Aamir Zaki around 2007 or early 2008 releases a song ‘Aaj Sun Ke Tumhara Naam’ soon after Aamir Zaki’s one-month death anniversary.

The latest Bond movie, ‘No Time to Die’ bagged a total of three nods in the 94th Academy awards including ‘Best Original Song’, ‘Best Song’, and ‘Best Visual Effects’. The visual team for the movie includes young artist from Pakistan, Laraib Atta, the digital compositor for the movie. The team also received the nomination at BAFTA 2022 for ‘Best Special Visual Effects’.

Asad Abbas was a talented artist who had sung in Coke Studio and he was doing great professionally when tragedy hit his life. He has won the Pakistani Sangeet Icon and also won a Lux Style Award. He was suffering from kidney disease and his kidneys failed. His deteriorating health resulted in a decline in his career.

Asad Abbas had gone through multiple medical procedures including a transplant but that did not work. He wanted to go abroad for further treatment and he had appealed to everyone to help with his medical expenses. His interviews came out where he was not even recognizable any more.

Renowned singer Ali Noor has been accused of sexual harassment by journalist Ayesha Binte Rashid. Ayesha took to Instagram on Friday to share screenshots of a conversation she had with Noor in which she called him out for “predatory behaviour” and “sexual harassment”.

Ali Haider is a Pakistani musician, songwriter, singer, and actor. Recently, the super talented Ali Haider was spotted in GMP “Shan-e-Suhoor”.

Ali Haider talking about his marriage and love story, mentioned that “We had an interesting love story. According to my wife, her wish came true when we got married because she was my fan. I was delaying my marriage because I didn’t want to get married at an early age because of my career and I also wanted my sisters to get married first. Me and Sabeeka met through a mutual friend and our first meeting was hardly for a minute. This is how me met and within two to three days we got engaged.”

“We decided to have a Nikkah event first and then after a few months we will be having the other wedding functions. We just had a simple intimate Nikkah event at our place. He has been in the news lately because of his deteriorating health. Asking his fans to send prayers, the pop-star opted to use Facebook to reach out from the US, where he lives and is being treated these days. He had been battling deteriorating health for a few years and was diagnosed with double kidney failure in 2004. He wrote “Both my kidneys enlarged so much that there is no space to put the 3rd kidney in (normally in a kidney transplant a 3rd kidney is planted without taking any of the non-working kidneys out) but in my case they will have to take my kidneys out as the first step. This itself is a major surgery”.

Back in October 2011, Alamgir had revealed that he was on a three-year waiting list for a kidney transplant. He was diagnosed with renal failure in 2004 and has been undergoing treatment ever since. However, that three-year duration extended to seven years now in 2020.

A few days ago, he had told fans he will be going through the surgery and requested prayers. Recently he took to his social media account and announced that he successfully had his kidney replaced and is recovering.

The legendary singer Alamgir isn’t only considered a singer who has a class of his own but he is also very well known for his down-to-earth charming personality. The singer left singing when he moved abroad but after many years he returned to Pakistan and started singing again. In an interview the singer said that he felt bad that he left so many people who loved him like that, he said that he should not have done that but he never left singing altogether because he could not live without it.

Alamgir has been getting dialysis done for a very long time now because he has polycystic kidneys. SUIT also helped him in getting quality treatment when he was here in Pakistan. Right now he is residing in Atlanta, United Stated where he has to undergo a major operation. Alamgir shared the whole procedure with his friends and family and also asked everyone to pray for his speedy recovery.
