Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) franchise Quetta Gladiators suffered on Sunday a huge blow when the veteran all-rounder and former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi announced to withdraw from the league midway. Afridi’s announcement came hours after the Gladiators’ win against Islamabad United.

In a video message released after the match, the Pakistani sixer king said that his body isn’t allowing him to continue playing at this moment. “The pain in my body has become unbearable and I can’t endure it right now. I wanted to play the PSL for my fans and wanted it to end on a good note but I am unable to do so now. I’m sorry to the management of Quetta Gladiators and my fans,” he said.

Afridi said he will immediately start his rehabilitation process and try to return back on the field for Kashmir Premie League. He revealed that the back injury that he’s carrying for over 15 years now has started troubling him now. “My whole body was paining, it was happening from the first game here and last night it was just unbearable. I know it’s a difficult decision but health comes first,” he added.

Marium Mukhtar was born in 1992 in Karachi. Her father was a retired colonel of the Pakistan army and inspired her to join the armed forces. Shahid Afridi is the cricket sensation of not only Pakistan but of the whole world.

Shahid Afridi is immensely popular among both boys and girls because of his good looks and charming personality.

In one of his interviews, Shahid Afridi talked about his wife that how they got married.

Shahid Afridi said: “When I first saw the picture of Nadia I didn’t like her, she was wearing a lot of makeup. Later on, when I saw her pictures without makeup I was satisfied”

It was a typical arranged marriage Afridi first saw his wife live on his wedding night. Afridi also talked about how difficult it is to convince his wife, because he has many female fans and his wife gets jealous.

Shahid Afridi and his wife together have five beautiful daughters together.

Nach Baliye is an Indian dance show in which different people show case their dance skills but lately the show has started celebrities to participate in it too. Shoaib Malik also participated in the show along with his wife. Shoaib and Sania’s dance performance was the talk of the town. The dances are well choreographed under the guidance of experts.

Nach Baliye season 7 is expected to go on air soon. Shahid Afridi was asked by the production team to participate in the show along with his wife. Shahid Afridi said that he was not interested in participating in the show. Shahid Afridi is a conservative person who has never brought his wife in talk shows either therefore it was out of question for him to say yes to such a proposal.

Recently a video of Shahid Afridi’s went viral. The video showed Pakistan’s favorite cricket player, Lala, roasting Indians during an event in Azad Kashmir. Lala went on to state that Modi (the Indian PM) had a mind more infectious than the coronavirus. Afridi also roasted the Indian Air Force, calling Abhinandan and the rest of the IAF officers *choozay* (chicks) whom Pakistan had treated well in the sky, offered them tea and then sent them back.

Following Lala’s comments, the entire neighboring nation went on fire, and a number of cricketers also called out Afridi for pointing out Modi.

However, following Afridi’s comments, the cricketer has been trending on top in Pakistan. Pakistanis have been calling Afridi a lion and a brave heart to have commented on Modi’s school of thoughts. Shahid Afridi and Shaheen Afridi have recently appeared in the Samaa Tv’s Eid special show together. The son in law and father in law duo talked a lot about their personal life. Shahid Afridi revealed why he chose Shaheen Afridi as his son in law. Shaheen Afridi also revealed the qualities he loved about his wife. He also disclosed that he used to like Ansha Afridi since 2019.

Talking about choosing Shaheen Afridi as soon in law, Shahid Afridi said, “our families used to know each other since long, our ancestors used to be very close with each other, Shaheen’s family is very respectable family, Shaheen Afridi’s parents are like my parents, in between, our families developed a few differences. Shaheen Afridi’s reputation was good, his family was good, then it all began two years ago, I took my time to observe Shaheen, also, I got to know good things about him and that’s why I chose him”

Shaheen Afridi said that he loved every quality of Ansha, there are many qualities in her and the best thing about Ansha is her love for her parents and siblings. Shahid Afridi also said that he has witnessed evident positive changes in Ansha Afridi after marrying Shaheen Shah Afridi.

In a column for ICC, Afridi writes “highly entertaining match between the two traditional rivals, who have a rich cricketing history between them.”

“Contrary to popular belief, India and Pakistan players get along very well. Of course, there are exceptions like Gautam Gambhir, who dare I say isn’t the friendliest.” Afridi wrote in the column. “We are unlikely to be found together at a coffee shop anytime soon.”

Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi shared an endearing welcome home surprise party thrown by his wife, as he returned home after leading the Rawalakot Hawks to their maiden KPL 2021 title victory. Unknown to the cricketer, his wife had made arrangements for a lovely surprise for his return.

Afridi took to his Instagram handle to post an endearing video clip which features a lavishly decorated garden area as the family celebrates Shahid’s victory. Afridi can be seen standing beside his daughters, the youngest one in his arms, happy over the surprise his wife arranged for him. A table laden with decoration can also be seen in front of the cricketer.
