She said, “This is actually a very sensitive issue and it could be discussed for hours. To sum it up, however, I know that, everywhere in the world, people tend to associate the characters they love with the actors or actresses who play that role.”

“My job, though, was only to do my professional best and to give life to Aykiz. This does not make me Aykiz. I’m Hande. I really appreciate the admiration of my fans but I’m not happy about being criticised and getting negative comments about things that I do in my personal life,” Hande Subasi added.

Hande Subasi also thanked her Pakistani fans for giving so much love to her character of Aykiz Hatun.

She said, “Thanks to my Pakistani fans, after several years I have remembered once again how much I loved working on the show and playing Aykiz. It was through Instagram that I realised that I now have so many fans in Pakistan. I feel honoured.”

In the end, Hande Subasi also expressed her wish to visit Pakistan as she is curious to know about the culture of Pakistan. She feels closer to Pakistan after receiving positive feedback. “It made me very happy, that I’m known in a country because of my work. It would be a pleasure to visit Pakistan!” she said.

Hamza Firdous, son of Firdous Jamal has already made Pakistan very proud at a very young age. He is at the moment starring in drama serial “Mujhay Thaam Le”.

But today, the big news is this that he has produced a short film called “Radha” which has made it to the Cannes Film Festival.

The genre of the film is supernatural horror. It tells a story of a young girl who is trying to escape her past. The woman is poor and finds some peace in a dancer.

In July, 2019 veteran actor Firdous Jamal got involved in a controversy when he shared his personal opinion about Mahira Khan on Faysal Qureshi’s morning show Salam Zindagi. This caused an uproar on social media and everyone found Firdous Jamal’s remarks about Mahira Khan derogatory and disrespectful.

According to Firdous Jamal, Mahira Khan was not fit to play the role of a heroine because she was past that age. Firdous Jamal also commented that Mahira Khan was not a good actor and she was more of a model. These statements brought a lot of negative attention towards Firdous Jamal but he chose to stay silent as he felt justifying or clarifying himself was not necessary. A lot of celebrities came in support of Mahira Khan and did not appreciate the comments made by Firdous Jamal but there were still a few celebrities who understood the things he said and supported him.

This controversy took an ugly turn when Momina Duraid of MD Productions imposed a ban on Firdous Jamal and said that she will not work with him anymore. This was Momina Duraid’s way of showing support to Mahira Khan. Mahira Khan also addressed this issue by sharing a handwritten note which promoted nothing but love amongst the actors and peace within fraternity.

Firdous Jamal’s son Hamza Firdous came in support of his father. Hamza Firdous discussed the matter but he took it seriously when Momina Duraid shared the news of imposing ban on Firdous Jamal. Junaid Jamshed (JJ) and Hamza Ali Abbassi (HAA) are famous media persons known for running into controversies over their remarks on various occasions.

Besides acting, I have another, bigger concern in my life, and I want others to make it their concern too. I have a strong faith in Akhirah. I firmly believe in life after death. I don’t know how many years I will live, but after that, it won’t matter how successful an actor I was, and people also forget. Yes, this profession helps me financially, but I take breaks from acting and spend time in learning about Akhirah. I also believe in making investments for Akhirah. My obsession is all about life after death. I want to achieve greatness in the hereafter.”

He further said, “I would like to urge believers to maintain a balance between this life and the Akhirah, because Akhirah is the biggest reality so make the Akhirah your obsession. I am not saying to leave the world, keep a balance but don’t compromise your final destination for this temporary place”.
