Hassan Ahmed and Sunita Marshall have been in the industry for years and they have been married for a long time now. The two stars have been in the news many times and some time back Hassan Ahmed called out Sunita Marshall after her interview went viral. She had shared the struggles Hassan had gone through in his early career and shared that she was an established star at that time but Hassan had not liked it.

In a recent interview with Hassan Ahmed, journalist Maliha Rehman asked him about this situation and if he could just have asked Sunita about his concerns at home. He said that yes that could have been done. He went on to call Sunita naive and said that she often does not realize what the interviewers are trying to take out from her personal life. He also said that this was happening for some time by then that people would ask questions about him from his wife and not about his wife’s illustrious career.

He said that he did what he thought was right but now he keeps jimself off the phone if he is angry. Here is Hassan’s opinion:

Talking to Fuchsia, Hassan Ahmed gave some insights about his role in the drama. He revealed that he was actually offered Jamal’s character first but he left it as he did not want to play such a straight-laced character and asked if he could play Naseer instead. Things did not work out then but later on the makers offered him Naseer and it was an instant yes.

Talking about Naseer’s temperament, he also shared that such people do exist. He also revealed that around 10 years ago, he himself had anger issues but he worked on himself and he has changed.

Talking about his career Hassan said, “lets be honest, when I came into industry Sunita was already a very big name by the grace of Allah, my career was affected because people blamed me that I was using Sunita as a ladder, I mean, you have seen my work, ( said while talking to Nauman Ijaz).

Hassan Ahmed also said that he had to face a lot of backlash but in fact he never got any work from Sunita’s reference, he said, “what ever I achieved in these years is because of the hard work and consistency. Yes, in start, Sunita introduced me to people but nobody took me serious. I am glad that I didn’t get work from them and whatever I am today is because of my own hard work. Sunita also said that she is super proud after seeing Hassan’s journey.

The actor also expressed his views about singer and actor Azaan Sami Khan when he was asked, “Which actor should not sing?”

To this question, he replied, “I think many singers should not act instead, in my opinion, Azaan Sami Khan should not act, I think his acting is a bit weak but he is a great composer and I love his music, I watched his drama in which he is working”. Sunita Marshall also added that Azaan Sami Khan is a great singer.
