Acclaimed Pakistani stars Aiman and Minal Khan’s father breathed his last on 31st December,2020. Muneeb Butt turning to his Instagram, the actor shared the tragic news about his father-in-law’s demise. “Aiman Minal’s father has passed away! Innallilahi Wainna Ilaaehi Rajionn. Namaz e Janaza Masjid and time will update soon,” said the actor.

Right after the news of Aiman and Minal’s fathers death, the fans and fellow co-stars from the industry were quick to respond to the news with prayers for the deceased and the family members. A few days back Sarah Khan’s and Noor-ul-Hassan’s father also passed away.

One such drama is Jeevan Nagar written by Awais Ahmed and directed by the maestro Kashif Nisar. It is a very unique drama and people are simply loving how all characters are behaving and how the story is beautifully unfolding. It stars big names like Sohail Ahmed, Rabia Butt, Saqib Sumeer, Kashif Mehmood, Noor ul Hassan and many more.

Jeevan Nagar revolces around two characters played by Sohail Ahmed. Babar Shah who is the don of Jeevan Nagar and Laali Guru, an intersex individual who will eventually take Babar Shah’s place. Laali Guru’s group or as it is called in Urdu Toli has other intersex people as they are in distress due to the kidnap of their Guru.

Saqib Sumeer was a guest on Fuchsia where he shared an incredible fact about Jeevan Nagar. He revealed that all other intersex people in Laali’s group except four male actors were actually intersex people. He added that those were real Khawaja Siras and their own Guru used to come with them on set and they all guided them how to portray them on screen with authenticity. The goal of Jeevan Nagar team was to make sure everything remains respectful and the real Khawaja Siras helped them with that.

Inaya Khan is a new addition in the entertainment industry and she has been doing some strong and negative characters quite beautifully. The internet is filled with the latest controversy about LGS 1-A/1 harassment cases against Sir Umair, Sir Warraich, Sir Aitezaz and other staff members.

Many girls have come out and shared their harassment stories on the internet to seek justice which the administration of LGS 1-A/1 has failed to provide.

We contacted students from the respective school and they shared the whole story.

They opened up about Sir Aitezaz who is a teacher at 1A1 and he used to teach politics and served as a MUN coach. According to the students, he is a manipulative person and on international trips, he used to get involved with girls. He has girlfriends from every batch and many called him a ‘playboy’. He even manipulated minors as they are of age 16. Many girls came out and complained about him but the administration didn’t take any action.

About Sir Waraich, many students said, “He teaches chemistry and he inappropriately looks at girls and touches them. He makes his students feel uncomfortable.”

About Sir Umar, students complained that he is part of the admin office and he harassed a girl and also makes other students feel uncomfortable.

Maira Omair Rana who is the wife of actor Omair Rana works at the admin office of LGS. Whenever girls complained to her, then she used to do victim-blaming. She scolded girls about their revealing clothes and even said to the victims that they should not come here for their complaints.

However, LGS has a strict dress code and no one is allowed to wear tight clothes but still, victim-blaming was happening.

In harassment cases, there should not be any question about clothes and it is highly inappropriate to blame the victims. The worst part is that the admin office didn’t take any action and they tried to silence the victims but all the students are uniting against the teachers who harassed girls.

Inaam Ghar is a game show hosted by Aamir Liaqat Hussain on Geo TV, the show was started on 18th January on Geo TV. Since its first program Geo Tv has been constantly claiming that the show has broken all records of viewership.  In another such claim Urdu Daily Jang (which is part of Geo TV) has published the news, claiming that Inaam Ghar is now the mostly ever viewed “family show” in Asia. Geo is part of Jang Media Group, perhaps the largest media group of Pakistan where Urdu Daily Jang is the most read Urdu newspaper in the world.

However the basis of this claim are not mentioned in the news , like how many viewers actually watch this program, the previous number one  “family show” in the Asia, which is now deprived of its status by Inaam Ghar, what is the source of this claim; etc. Above all what is the definition and criteria for a show to be called as “family show”, or a “non-family show”????

The claim is also strange enough as there are atleast three Asian countries which have more population than Pakistan namely China, India and Indonesia. All these countries have better economic status than Pakistan. Also population of India and China is many many times more than Pakistan so television viewership in these two countries is also much higher in numbers than Pakistan. So claiming any Pakistani program has been mostly viewed in Asia, definitely raises many questions.

Last year Geo Tv started a game show Inaam Ghar hosted by famous television personality Aamir Liaqut Hussain. Urdu Daily Jang  claimed that the show had broken all kind of viewership records anyone can ever imagine. The first season of Inaam Ghar was concluded in first quarter of 2014.

Now Geo Tv is relaunching season 2 of Inaam Ghar, with the name Inaam Ghar Plus. Apart from a small amendment in name, the rest of the season 2 is expected to be similar as season 1.

Inam E Mohabbat is a Geo Television play, which has been produced by 7th Sky Entertainment. The cast of the drama includes Sakina Samoo, Haroon Shahid, Sidra Niazi and Nazish Jahangir. The story of the drama revolves around a rich and influential lady who has a son who falls in love with a girl of a different background. The drama has been directed by Furqan Adam. It has been written by Erum Wasi & Saima Wasi.

Today, the last episode of the drama aired which was admired by the viewers. People loved the happy ending of the drama serial and showed their praise for it generously.

Fans said that this drama showed the power of practicing patience. They said that they loved the happy ending of the drama. Fans also commented on the characters. One fan said that the lady Sabeen deserved all of this. She deserved having a dead grand daughter & losing her daughter AND son’s trust. Although his first film for the year is yet to come out in January, Sarmad Khoosat has already begin the filming process of the Saba Qamar starrer Kamli. President Mamnoon Hussain was the chief guest at the event. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Mohammad Zakaullah, Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Sohail Aman and Defence Minister Khawaja Asif were also at the parade.

The ceremony started with the singing of the national anthem which was followed by the president observing the parade from a jeep.

Chinese and Saudi troops and a Turkish military band also featured at the event.

Chalay Thay Saath is an upcoming Pakistani movie starring Syra Shahroz, Kent S.Leung, Zhalay Sarhadi, Mansha Pasha, Behroze Sabzwari, Faris Khalid, Sherbaaz Kaleem, Shamim Halai and Osama Tahir.

Parwaz Hai Junoon is slated to release later this year. The star-studded cast includes Kubra Khan, Hania Amir, Ahad Raza Mir, Shamoon Ali Abbasi and Marina Khan amongst others.

When we say its the wedding season in full bloom in Pakistan, we really mean it. And even celebrities have been joining the list of people getting married ever since the winter winds blew in the country. First it was producer Imran Raza Kazmi and now it is ace designer Ali Xeeshan who has tied the knot.

Ali Xeeshan married Myrrah in a beautiful ceremony in Islamabad. The wedding decor was a sight for the sore eyes, extremely beautiful and breathtaking. What’s more is the fact that the bride looked absolutely gorgeous in her tea pink ensemble designed by Tariq Amin, absolutely fit for a princess.

With the tagline ‘A Comedy of Terrors’, one can only wait to see what the film has in store for us. The rom-com ‘Jhol’ is directed by Shahid Shafaat and stars Bilal Ashraf, Nausheen Shah and Salim Meraj as well. According to the makers, the film stars Urwa Hocane as a businesswomen while Ali Azmat plays an ayaash policeman.

Previously there were rumors that Urwa turned down a Bollywood film for Jhol, as she believed this was better. The actress is on a roll and has 3 other films in the pipeline set to release this year.

Imsha Rehman is an emerging social media star who is known for her digital content creation on Tiktok. She has around 200 k followers on Tiktok. In November, Imsha Rehman made headlines for her fake leaked video scandal. Imsha Rehman also deactivated her account after the scandal. Recently, Imsha Rehman has given her statement on her leaked fake video scandal. Imsha also informed her fans about the difficulties she has been facing after the leaked video scandal.

Imsha Rehman said, “I saw the video on the internet, after which it destroyed my whole life. I can’t go to university. I can’t face people. I have been facing a lot of death threats. People on social media think that it is quite a cool thing to make videos of others and disseminate them on social media. But they forget about its consequences on the other person. I could respond to the scandal, but I wanted to take legal action against them. Our FIA is capable of much more; they have already arrested the culprit, and he is behind bars. The FIA officials also said that the victims should not stay quiet and should take legal actions so that such criminals get the punishment.
