Tere Bin is Geo Television’s block buster drama serial which is produced by 7th Sky Entertainment. The drama has been directed by Siraj Ul Haq and it has been written by Nooran Makhdoom. Tere Bin has broken major records of popularity and ratings in six months. The drama has gained more than 3 billion views on YouTube and the views are rapidly increasing. The first episode of the drama garnered 61 million plus views. Almost all the other episodes of the drama collected 30 million plus views. The drama continuously became a trend in Pakistan and other countries for six months.

Sources claim that Geo television has earned approximately 1 billion rupees from the YouTube views. The Independent Urdu website said that the channel has earned a huge amount from Tere Bin. The YouTube sources say that the worth of the views varies, if people are watching the show from Western countries, the channels make more money but if they are watching from Pakistan or India, they make less money. The sources also claim that the entertainment content gets more views and more earnings than the news and current affairs content. According to research, Geo earned an estimated 3.6 million dollars from this play.

The source also gave an example of a vlogger to check Tere Bin earnings, the source says that a vlogger from Islamabad earned 2484 dollars from one of his videos which gained 1.8 million views on YouTube which means Geo TV approximately earned 3.6 million dollars which are 1billion Pakistani rupees. A well-known Pakistani podcaster Talha Ahad of TCM also confirmed that Geo might have earned around 36 million dollars from Tere Bin after insane numbers of views. It is to be remembered that Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3 is still ahead in terms of YouTube views on Geo TV.

The above mentioned numbers are just based on the estimation given by the YouTubers. Geo TV hasn’t talked about the earnings yet. The channel hasn’t given any official numbers or information about drama’s earnings.

According to details, Ansar Burney dismissed his brother Sarim Burney from NGO for participating in a live TV show that featured a Hindu boy converting to Islam which was a drama created by TV show host and Sarim Burney.

Sohail Sameer is a senior actor now and he has been ruling the world of showbiz for two decades now. He has done some really impactful characters in his career but his very recent role in Tere Bin put him up on the map once again. He was a very integral part of the infamous Meerab-Murtasim conflict and did his part well.

He has been a model as well as an actor and he was able to impress both ways. While he was a guest on Ayaz Samoo’s show, he revealed one actress whom he will not work with again and it was none other than Meera Jee. He also shared the whole experience when he was cast with her.

Sohail revealed that he was supposed to do a music video with Meera. He was on sets when Meera arrived but he did not see her and she passed by him. Later on he was asked why he did not greet Meera Jee and he was also cut out from the music video on Meera’s request.

This affected her mentally but everyone from her co-stars to her family and especially her director consoled her and she was able to take it on.

The Legend of Maula Jatt is all set to release on 13th October, 2022. The film is a different take on the old classic Maula Jatt starring Sultan Rahi as Maula Jatt and Mustafa Qureshi as Noori Natt. The new Maula Jatt is a totally different story with the same characters. But one person common between the two is the writer Nasir Adeeb Sahab who was the writer for the first movie too.

Nasir Adeeb has written over 400 films in his career and then he took retirement after the film industry sunk.

Nasir Adeeb is also the father of actress Zoya Nasir whom we have seen in big dramas like Mere Humsafar and Dobara impressing everyone with her acting prowess.

Though Nasir Adeeb has had a illustrious career but since he took retirement years ago, films have moved forward and styles have changed since then. So, when he was approached by Bilal Lashari to write Maula Jatt again, things were going to be different. Thus they both worked together on the new script.

Nasir Sahab humbly stated during his recent interview with Fuchsia that he told Bilal Lashari that it is his debut again. He added that he wrote a script for The Legend of Maula Jatt which Bilal was not keen on and then when Bilal shared his story with Nasir Sahab. Nasir Sahab then stated that is when he realized that the only difference was there were 40 years bewteen his and Bilal’s tory. He then worked with Bilal in collaboration and made the script more rational with each character having a rational approach. Nasir Sahab share that Bilal did help hi in making his writing modern and he is hopeful that the film will do well.

People from the Pakistani entertainment industry often maintain an image and like to divulge controlled narrative about their lives in front of their fans. Only a few go all out and share real experiences so others can take advantage and become aware of something they have gone through in their personal lives. Mashal Khan is one such star.
