Nazia Hassan is Pakistan’s legacy. She made her country proud as she represented Pakistan worldwide with her beautiful voice. Nazia lived a very successful professional life earning her a special place in the world of music. However, her personal life went through a lot of trials and tribulations. Her married life had a lot of tragedy thrown in and she also suffered from the deadliest disease cancer in those times.

Nazia’s brother Zoheb has stated that he will take legal action against her ex-husband. Nazia’s ex-husband is trying to make a film on her. He stated that Nazia’s husband will showcase himself in the film and will use Nazia’s name to get the benefit for himself. Zoheb took to Facebook where he mentioned that he will not allow anyone to take advantage of his sister’s name:

Zoheb further said that they have the publishing rights of all their music, so no one can use it without their consent.

Nazia’s ex-husband has neither given a statement nor given any clarifications in this regard. While Hassan family is all set to take legal action against anyone who will try to use Nazia.

Hina Altaf literally spoke her heart out when she sat down to talk to Samina Peerza on her show. She did not hold back which is why her interview got an amazing response from the audience. Former first lady of Pakistan Begum Kulsoom Nawaz passed away earlier this week due to her cancer. Her funeral was held in London before she was brought to Pakistan where she had another funeral and was buried in Lahore yesterday. Samina was born on August 9, 1955, in Lahore to father, Moinuddin Butt, and mother, Almas Butt. She was raised in Karachi. After completing her high school graduation, she attended Government College of Commerce & Economics. Thereafter she started her career as an actress.

Actor Samina Peerzada and her talented husband Usman Peerzada tied the knot on February 14, 1975. They are blessed with two daughters. Besides acting, Peerzada is also a producer and director. He has made his appearance in Punjabi and Urdu films as an actor.

Ismat Tahira has worked on Radio and T.V back in 70s and 80s. In the field of advertisement, she worked in an advertisement agency, to raise ads for different newspapers and in doing so, she also drove motorcycle, as she couldn’t afford a car at that time.

She eventually stopped acting in the 90s and moved to Canada with her family. Other than Ushna Shah twoof her other kids are a part of entertainment industry too. Irsa Ghazal is daughter of Ismat Tahira, and a famous TV actress too. She started her career in mid 1980’s from PTV Lahore center. Her famous dramas are ‘Mirat ul Uroos’ , ‘Pyaasi’ and Catwalk. In Mirat ul Uroos, she played the role of Akbari. Irsa Ghazal took a break from television in mid 1990’s and made a comeback in 2008-2009, and now she is regularly appearing in dramas in character roles like ‘Rishtay Kucch Adhoray se’ and ‘Kahi Unkahi’.

Ismat Tahira’s son Shah Sharabeel is a director and producer in theatre mainly serious theatre. He has produced and directed many theatre plays like ‘Tom, Dick and Harry’, ‘You only marry twice’.

Recently Faysal Qureshi said on his show that he does not believe in totkas for losing weight but he did not really demean anyone. He also supported what he said with logic which made perfect sense. Nida Yasir however it seems took Faysal’s comment about morning show hosts making a fool out of people by recommending these totkas personally.

Although Nida did not address Faysal directly but the timing of what she said was such that one can easily presume that she might have been giving Faysal a reply. While talking on her show about the effectiveness of herbal remedies she supported her claim with some personal experiences. She said that she meets people all the time who criticize her for recommending herbal remedies because they believe that such remedies are useless.
