Recently released Bollywood movie, Veere Di Wedding was banned in Pakistan due to vulgar scenes and language. Swara Bhaskar who is one of the leads in the movie made nasty comments when asked about the ban in Pakistan in an interview. She called Pakistan an-unsecular state governed by Sharia laws. When I read the script I got to know that it is an amazing script and role, but I can’t do justice to this role. Host Nida Yasir questioned child star Tehreem Ali that was she scolded by anyone on the set while shooting Neeli Zinda Hai, to which Tehreem replied that Yes, she was scolded by Urwa Hocane while shooting.

She said, “I am not aware that Sonya Hussyn has sent any notice to me, I mean I am just a call away, we have been shooting the film for so long in which a lot of things might happen. We should speak to each other and find out, I am sure there should be some misunderstanding, we all are mature enough and we can resolve issues, why to subotage a project like this. I am also worried about such a notice, it’s not like that, she’s been a team, I know the process has become longer but we understand things and we will address this misunderstanding, maybe Sonya Hussyn would have called me”
Well, Urwa clearly said that she was unaware of Sonya Hussyn’s notice, however, Sonya Hussyn is also not participating in the promotions of the film Tich Button. Sonya previously informed her fans in Time Out with Ahsan Khan that she hasn’t gotten her paycheck for the film yet. Here is how public responded to Urwa’s ignorance about the matter!
Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar had a great deal to say when he explained why Urwa Hocane was no longer her upcoming film Kaaf Kangana’s leading lady. He said she was unprofessional to the extreme and he never wants to work with her ever again. He also said that the only reason, he gave her the role was because she begged for it.
Urwa Hocane finally talked to Galaxy Lollywood and shared her own views. She said,
“He is a fatherly figure to me, I respect him a lot. Woh mujh say barhay hain aur woh mujhay dant saktay hain, yeh un ka haq hay. He was probably upset and angry, which is why he said what he said but I have absolutely nothing against him.”
Urwa’s reply was very cool and calm. She was very respectful towards Khalil-ur-Rehman and also shared,
“See, I have never worked with Khalil sahab as a director. He is a wonderful writer and wrote a beautiful character for me in Punjab Nahi Jaungi, but I haven’t really had a chance to actually work with him since the director was Nadeem Baig. When I met Khalil sahab to discuss his debut film as a director is when I realized that we are on different wavelengths and that we are not compatible as a director-actor do. It was a mutual decision to part ways, and we are both upset about the situation. He still calls me beta and there is no animosity between us. I wish him the best of luck with his project.”
Urwa contradicted Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar’s claim that he was the one who fired her from the job and said that this was a mutual decision.
Urwa Hocane had appeared in more films than any other actress last year. Her luck, it seems to have spilled over in 2018 as well. She will now be seen in “Kaaf Kangna” by Khalil ur Rehman Qamar, who himself has informed this to Hip.
Kaaf Kangna is a romantic movie telling the story between a Pakistani boy and an Indian girl by the very philosophical love witer Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar and is a joint venture of ISPR and KRQ films.
The movie was first an Anoushey Mughal starrer who was replaced by Sohai Ali Abro as the female lead, but things did not work out as planned and now Urwa is the main protagonist in the film instead of Sohai.
There are big names from the music industry associated with the movie such as Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam. The lead characters of hero and heroine are to be executed by Sami Khan and Urwa Hocane now.
The brand Rang Rasiya has finally introduced their new Eid Campaign face. Previously, they were shooting it with actress Sana Javed but after a lot of complaints and issues they removed her. The issues were reported by model Manal Nadeem after shooting with Sana Javed for Rang Rasiya for their Eid special campaign. The Brand did a shoot with Sana Javed where she reportedly misbehaved with Manal Nadeem and said her a “Do Takkay Ki Model” . After alot of complaints Sana Javed was removed from the campaign and they announced shooting it with another celebrity.
Yesterday, the brand posted half face pictures of the new celebrity and asked public to guess. A lot of fans guessed that it is Urwa Hocane.
