It was recently that we shared that Varun Dhawan is soon to tie a knot in May this year with two of his major film releases, first being Street Dancer 3D, followred by Coolie No.1. What is big news for Varun fans is that he is confirmd for Dharma Production’s next venture which is Mr. Lele.
Mr. Lele is a comedy thriller and the actor will be seen playing a Marathi role. Varun will share screens with Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor. The film is all set to release on January 1st, next year.
Bollywood loves stealing Pakistani music and storylines without ever giving any credits or taking permission. They do not want Pakistani artists to work there but Pakistani content is allowed to be screened. The latest controversy was Nach Punjaban by Abrar ul Haq getting featured in Varun Dhawan starrer Jug Jugg Jeeyo.
Abrar ul Haq said that he has not given the copyrights of his song to the production house and promised legal action against them. The film is produced by Karan Johar’s production house who maintained that they have indeed bought the rights to the song. They however, ended up crediting Abrar ul Haq for the song.
Varun Dhawan has now ended up thanking Abrar ul Haq for the song. He said that the song is very good but maintained that there production company did buy the rights for it. He further said that the song is doing well for them as the original had done before it.
People are still criticizing the team of the film for plagiarism and want to know what actually went down with the rights:
Mahira Khan recently shared her experience of working with Afghan Refugees in Karachi in collaboration with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)., the Raees starlet took to social media and shared one of the cutest stories,

An unfortunate incident happened in Islamabad where three young girls passed away in a car accident. The car plunged in a ditch on the road which resulted in the death of three girls including Vaneeza Ahmed’s daughter Esha.
Two of the girls’ other friends who were sitting in the front seats got severely injured and are in the hospital since then.

I was flying high—until Allah showed me otherwise. Once, while traveling, I started having constant headaches. My vision began to blur, and I started forgetting things. I even missed my interviews. When our colleague Mr Ali Mehmood asked why I wasn’t showing up for interviews and was told what was happening to me, he came to visit me and diagnosed that I have meningitis. While I was being treated for it, my lymph nodes started swelling, and doctors told me they had found cancer cells—it was stage zero cancer. My friend Shaheen took me to a spiritual healer who gave me a book of duas for cancer treatment. I refused to believe I had cancer but started reciting those duas secretly. A month later, when I went for the test, the doctors told me there had been a mistake—there were no cancer cells. I truly believe it was the power of dua that changed everything for me at that time. Now, after researching, I’ve learned that Quranic verses have healing powers. The recitation itself brings healing. I believe it was the Quran that healed me.”
Talking about how her sister’s accident changed her life, Vaneeza Ahmed said, “We all have to go — that’s the one truth that can’t be changed. But her passing at 25 changed things for me. People say she passed away untimely, but nothing is truly untimely. I became inquisitive about where the spirit goes after death, and after doing my research, I realized that she came, did her job, and moved from this world to another. She fulfilled her purpose, and we all are doing the same. Allah’s world is vast, filled with trillions of entities, and we are just tiny particles among His creations. We die when our soul’s purpose in this world ends and exactly the same happened with my younger sister. The lesson I derived from her death was a reminder of life’s reality once again— that we all have to leave one day, something we often forget. So, the so called love day – Valentines day is here. It’s ohkay for those who originated it to celebrate but is not meant for the societies who just want to hop the bandwagon to show that they are not the odd ones out.
It is this time of the year & we can clearly see our morning show hosts dedicating the whole week for this purpose. Calling celebrity couples to make people understand how much they lurve each other on-screen. Morning shows are mostly seen by the housewives who tune to them while doing their household chores. It isn’t always necessary that in order to help them kill their time, they come up with next to nothing in the name of entertainment. Who says entertainment can not be or should not be informative? Who says that we need the shows like these to promote the English concept of love when it has nothing to do with us or our festivities?
I see there’s a massive group of people in Pakistan that has accepted this as a norm & those who don’t follow it are declared as backward or almost aliens but the truth is, we should focus more on the festivities that actually mean something to us in stead of just following what the West has prescribed for us.
I am actually gutted to see the morning show hosts going gaga over the promotion of valentines day & literally dedicating their precious time to tell people how important it is to express your love on this particular day, how important it is to exchange the gifts wrapped in RED gift papers, how important it is to be dressed in RED & wearing RED lipstick bhalay hi after the clock strikes 12 you don’t feel like talking to each other but no matter what, it is important to do all this in these 24 hours. Does it really have to be shown to the normal people who are busy with their lives to especially do certain things & gestures which actually mean nothing?
The morning show hosts come up the most irrelevant excuses while promoting such days in their shows that Pakistan is going through such a tough time so we want to spread smiles. I think they need to understand that by showing needless things in their shows that too in the wee hours of the morning, they are doing nothing to spread smiles in fact they are making people addictive of the Panadols, because all the shor sharaba & nach gana tends to be a headache-provoker instead of bringing a smile to anyone’s face!
All I say is that happiness is subjective & independent of such days. No one needs a certain day to celebrate each other’s presence & certainly there’s no need for all the fuss over a petty day which clearly has no value especially in Pakistan. Share your thoughts on this.

They announced the award that Iqra Aziz won for Suno Chanda and the crowd was pleased with the way things were being carried out.
Ahmed Ali Butt is an experienced all-rounder who knows what he is doing but unfortunately, his on-stage partner was not attentive enough. Uzma Khan looked super pretty with dressed in a green gown with her hair on the loose and smokey makeup, however Uzma Khan had a blonde moment where, instead of announcing the next category and nominees of Best TV Actor Viewer’s Choice, she took Feroze Khan’s name before, without much thought. Uzma Khan spoiled the award not only for Feroze Khan but also for the audience. Ahmed Ali Butt however saved the day and made it light-hearted by cracking a joke or two about it and the audience couldn’t contain their laughter. Uzma Khan was called on stage to announce the nominees and then the winner but it looked like she had a brain fog and didn’t pay heed to how she was supposed to do the honors in a sequence.
Feroze Khan won the award for Best TV Actor Viewer’s Choice, but he also won the respect of the audience when he brought veteran actor Qavi Khan with him and dedicated his award to him. Qavi Khan was also one of the nominees for his role in drama serial Aangan (Ary Digital).

The whole Uzma Khan controversy has taken the internet by the storm. We all have witnessed different sides of the story and now Uzma Khan and her sister Huma Khan have come forward and clarified everything in an interview.
Uzma Khan and Huma Khan were both the victims in this case and they were threatened and beaten by Usman Malik’s wife and her guards.
Uzma Khan said, “It happened on Chand Raat and I was sitting in Itikaf, at 10:30 my sister knocked on my door and I came out and sit with her. At that time, Usman was there to congratulate me so I said to him ‘I am going to my friend’s house as she has hosted a dinner for me’. Usman insisted me to sit for five minutes and within ten minutes guards entered by breaking my doors and women came inside and beat us.”
“All of this kept happening for more than an hour. I kept begging from these women but nobody listened to me.”
She requested and said, “It’s my request from the government and local police that please register my FIR and give me justice. I am not able to show my face anywhere they had insulted me in front of the whole world. It’s my request from Malik Riaz that his daughters had done this and I want justice. I will request the army, police, and the government to give me justice.”
She further added, “My life and my sister’s life is at stake and if anything happened with us they are the ones who will do. Some of my friends are posting on social media and they have asked me to share the video. They are standing with me.”
Huma Khan came forward and said, “Their women had no shame when they beat us they didn’t see my foot was bleeding and I kept them saying ‘my foot is bleeding’ but they didn’t stop and kept beating me. Riaz Malik’s three sisters locked my sister in a room and beat her badly. They ruined our house too and they had guns too.”
