You lied to me, he’s not the same guy.’ He then sang the song to make her believe, and I was constantly watching him in awe.”

Haroon Shahid also said that Junaid Jamshed is undoubtedly the most good-looking man to have ever appeared in the Pakistani showbiz industry to date. Haroon further said that he looked even more charming after his transformation. Here is the link to the video:

Faysal Quraishi started out in the industry as a child actor and became one of the most loved leading men after his stint in Boota From Toba Tek Singh. He has not looked back since and he kept evolving with times. Faysal Quraishi is still one of the most loved stars and he is known for his professionalism and his passion for acting.

Faysal Quraishi was a guest on Maliha Rehman’s show and shared how late Khalid Butt’s professionalism made all the young actors astonished as he was very sick and still worried about work. Faysal said that all the older actors are very professional. He added that he has worked with 104 fever and nowadays young actors cancel shoots if they sneeze or their dog gets sick. Thus seeing such grit and passion for work was shocking for many newcomers.

This is what he said:

Faysal also talked about how industry has a lot of favouritism. He elaborated and said that makers bring in a new actor and forcefully make him a superstar as his fame is milked and then they are nowhere to be seen after 4-5 years.

Faysal also said that this used to disturb him a lot but Nauman Ijaz was the one who taught him to just focus on his work and good work is what will get him far. Now, focusing just on work is Faysal Quraishi’s mantra and it has worked for him.

Here is what he said

Faysal Quraishi is one of the biggest stars of Pakistan. He has been ruling the industry for over two decades and fans love his versatility and talent. He has seen all the ups and downs of showbiz and he gave his two cents on the recent ban of Pakistani dramas which came from the Indian government.

Indians were loving Pakistani dramas like Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, Meri Zindagi Hai Tu and others. Even currently shows like Dar e Nijaat and Mitti De Baway have a huge following. The Modi government banned the shows but in the end had to let their stubborness go. Faysal Quraishi shares his two cents on the situation and why they wanted to ban Pakistani dramas in the first place.

Faysal Quraishi said that Indian government did this as they were scared of how the dramas portrayed a positive image of Pakistan in India. Indians got to know how Pakistanis are normal and educated people. Thus the Indian government banned them to get rid of this influence. Their population then started using VPN and thus the Modi government had to surrender.

This is what the star thinks of that whole situation:

Faysal Quraishi is the superstar of Pakistan. He has been working in dramas and films since he was a child and he has grown into the most versatile star we have. He was a guest on FHM podcast and spoke about his calm personality, his work in Case No.9 and how to attract youth to our own dramas.

Faysal Quraishi was asked about how why actors keep appearing as heroes for decades while heroines stop working after several years. The actor had a very measured response to it and he gave examples of colleagues like Savera Nadeem and Javeria Saud.

The actor said that heroes generally keep working as this becomes their life long profession. Women have also had long careers but women do take more household responsibilities and responsibilities of children. They thus do take time off like Savera and Javeria did but they eventually started working again. He said that women need a certain security and once they have it in their family, they tend to start working less.

This is what he said:

Faysal Quraishi is a versatile Pakistani television and film actor who is admired for his excellent acting and charismatic on-screen presence. His recent popular character was Chinar Khan from Khaie. Currently, Faysal Quraishi is hosting Aan TV’s Ramadan transmission where he daily invites talented guests. Today, he invited Areej Chaudhary and they discussed about the growing popularity of Pakistani dramas in India.

Talking about it, Faysal Quraishi said, “Let me tell you an interesting thing. I recently gave an interview to an Indian journalist who gave huge love and respect to me and also shared messages of fans with me. He also took an autograph from me for his wife. I talked to the Indian fans who told me that Indian’s are big fans of Pakistani dramas and artists because according to them Pakistani dramas can be watched with family because they show romance in limit. Also, Indians watch it with family. Our storytelling is also better than them, we finish episodes early. Although, according to us, our drama is still dragged.

Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum fame actor Areej Chaudhary also shared that one of her friend told that she has so many fans in India due to her dramas. Her friend’s coordinator instantly replied to her to get Areej’s autograph. Here is the link to the video:

Recently, Faysal Quraishi appeared in Geo News through a telephonic link where he talked about the thought process behind signing the ongoing intense drama series Case No. 9.

Talking about it, Faysal Quraishi said, “Last year, when Khaie aired, it was a success and was a milestone in my career so I was quite reluctant about choosing scripts even makers got angry at me, saying, ‘what do you mean by that, won’t you do any drama now?’, but I wanted to do a better script after setting a benchmark after Khaie. Case No 9 was sent to me by makers with a challenge that I can’t refuse it. I read the name of writer in the credits, it was by Shahzeb Khanzada, I also confirmed this. Eid ul Adha 2024 is here and like always, sacrificial animals are brought by families and the animals are sacrificed in the name of Allah. The meat is then distributed among family, friends and especially the needy who cannot afford to eat meat everyday. This also teaches the lesson of sacrificing in the name of Allah and giving up jealousies, hate and injustice.

In the last few years, many people have started questioning the tradition of qurbani. They give ideas about using the money for buying animals to buy water coolers which can be placed outside the house or give that money to someone to get their daughters wed. Many vegans are also keen on giving the idea of not sacrificing animals for Eid ul Adha.

Faysal Quraishi has a message for the anti-qurbani crowd. He said that all these people need to study religion and know about the importance of sacrificing. He added that instead of proposing using sacrifice money for charity, these people can use the money that they spend on lavish weddings or independence day celebrations for charity.

Further Faysal mentioned that ” Sardar Saif’s mistake was not easy to be forgiven, he should have been severely punished for his sin. He wasn’t a good man, he deserved this end”.

Because Faysal Quraishi was portraying the character of Sardar Saif, the audience could not see the flaws in his character, rather they were upset with the death of Sardar Saif.

Faysal Quraishi is a brilliant Pakistani television actor who has been in the news lately because of his perfect portrayal of character Chinar Khan in Geo TV’s famous drama serial Khaie. The drama is the mega production of Geo TV under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment. Well, The drama has been directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain. It has been written by Saqlain Abbas. Cast also features Durefishan Saleem, Shuja Asad, Khalid Butt, Noor ul hassan, Hina Bayat, Uzma Hassan, Laila Wasti, Osama Tahir, Shamyl Khan, Mahenur Haider, Saba Faysal, Noor Ul Hassan, and Javed Jamal.

Lately, he made an appearance in Green Entertainment’s Ramadan transmission in which he talked about his character Chinar Khan in Khaie.

While addressing the criticism about his character Chinar Khan, Faysal said, “No one is afraid of Chinar Khan in fact I am getting a very positive response, yesterday, someone said to me, ‘I don’t know if I should hate Chinar Khan or should love him’, people are liking it. Actually, in Pakistan we stereotype the characters, a normal perception here is that villain can not be a human, and hero can’t be negative at all, they don’t have a concept of grey characters. I wanted Chinar Khan to be grey, I didn’t want people to hate it. Also, Chinar Khan has that romantic element with him, the credit goes to Saqlain who wrote it so well, also it was well executed. I believe that if a character is built to offend others, he should do that, that’s also the beauty of good acting and storytelling”. Here is what Faysal Quraishi said about Chinar Khan:
