Remember the time when Ajay fully supported the ban on Pakistani artists from Bollywood and claimed that he would never work with one? This was the time when his film ‘Shivaay’ was clashing with ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, a Fawad Khan starrer. Girls in India go gaga over this handsome man so a film starring the heartthrob of both India and Pakistan clearly had a lot of chances to become a super hit and destroy any other film releasing along with it.
Ajay Devgan is taking his words back as his next film Baadshaho has the song, ‘Mere Rashke Qamar’ a song that was originally sung by the legend, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. The reprise has now been vocalized by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Both of them are Pakistanis, as Mr.Ajay is well aware. So what happened to not working with any Pakistani ? What happened to his support of the ban on Pakistani stars working in Bollywood?
Many would call this as hypocrisy. Regardless, we should be happy that he has finally accepted that Pakistani singers have a lot of talent to offer. Nothing is better than proving someone wrong with your work!
