Sarwat Gillani while talking about the cosmetic side of her life, mentioned that “Fahad once said me that I thought you will come to me for any cosmetic surgery because you don’t have a good routine but you’re actually going in reverse. I’m not the one who take cares of herself all the time but now I’ve started drinking water and using sunscreen but it’s all because of my genes that I’ve a good skin till now despite having a bad routine.”
“I’m really very sacred of needles so I avoid such treatments. I fell on my face when I was in college and I broke my nose. I had my nose surgery done long time ago but still a lot of people think that it was a cosmetic surgery. Yes but I got to Fahad every now and then for the treatment of the lines on my forehead but still I say Fahad that you’re lucky that I’m not into such things”, added Sarwat.

Bulbulay is the longest running sitcom on Pakistani television. Many have grown up watching the journey of Nabeel and Khoobsurat and copying the antics of Momo and Mehmood Sahab. A show that started out with the simple journey of a single man Nabeel played by Nabeel Zafar and showed him getting married having kids and thus more characters got added and Momo’s son Sona and Nabeel’s daughter Chandi became a part of the show.
Chandi from the show Bulbulay is actually related to Nabeel Zafar. Yes, Chandi is played by Fatima Nabeel and she is the actual daughter of Nabeel Zafar. During an interview, he was asked if his kids will ever join showbiz like him. He then revealed that the girl who plays Chandi in Bulbulay is actually his own daughter Fatima. He said that he has her daughter play that role but mostly his kids are not interested and he does not encourage them either.

Second marriage of a woman whether she is a divorcee or a widow is a huge topic in Pakistan. Despite being a country with 95% Muslim population, it a huge taboo in many households which is senseless. Saeeda Imtiaz & Saim Ali were the two strongest Tamasha Ghar contestants who were active in house and they were also sharp in their tasks, they both had save themselves on many occasions by winning in tough tasks but this week was toughest regarding the tasks and they couldn’t secure win in any of their tasks. Saim was almost a winner in a task but could not win. Saeeda was also a smart player and an active participant but unfortunately, this week, both were eliminated. No one is believing that they are eliminated. Fans want Saeeda Imtiaz and Saim Ali back.
Well, according to fans, Rauf Lala and Humaira, both are not much applauded contestants. Fans also said that Humaira and Lala both are also not so good in their tasks and they use to mess up with the contestants, unnecessarily. Fans said that instead of eliminating Rauf Lala, Saeeda and Saim were eliminated which is unfair, here is the video!

These two episodes of Habs proved that all my “reservations” regarding the drama were accurate, especially the one concerning the writer(s) of the drama. Since Habs’ script is a product of “teamwork”, it would be safe to say, at this point, that too many cooks spoil the broth. Ayesha’s character started going downhill the day she married Basit and all the decisions she took in these two episodes proved to be the final nail in the coffin. Ushna Shah made the character bearable but even with all her intellect, Ayesha took some of the most stupid decisions. After watching the latest episode, in particular, I was reminded of the drama serial Dillagi, the misunderstanding between Mohid and Anmol, and how it made everyone root for them more than ever before. The writer(s) definitely took some serious inspiration from there but they failed to execute the entire climax in a similar fashion. I have always felt that Basit and Ayesha’s track has been the weakest link. The sidetracks held my interest more right from the beginning but with this episode even Bano disappointed. These had to be the worst two episodes of Habs content and execution-wise. It is unfortunate that the producers ruin a perfectly put-together storyline by asking writers to stretch the stories and requesting them to “copy” ideas from other dramas!
The Misunderstanding
It is difficult to gauge what was more absurd about the latest developments, Ayesha and Fahad’s “friendship” or the fact that Ayesha and Fahad could not “guess” how this would impact Basit who already has serious trust issues. Basit has a lot of issues, the character is toxic in its own way but his toxicity makes sense. The writer(s) made sure that the viewers understand why Basit has all these issues but at the same time, they showed how he was willing to move forward. Also, the fact that there was a time when Basit trusted Fahad enough to have dinner with Ayesha and then drop her back in the middle of the night but now all of a sudden had lost all that trust was just nonsensical. Especially because now Basit was actively working on getting closure and was healing. All of this would have made some sense had it happened earlier on. Such misunderstandings are always in bad taste. They started with dramas such as Meri Zaat Zara e Benishan, Hamsafar, and the list is never-ending. Most of the time they are forced, even in the drama serial Hamsafar the “misunderstanding” was stretched beyond the limit. The viewers are sick and tired of watching such scenarios.
Zoya’s track was used desperately and unconvincingly to create this misunderstanding between Ayesha and Basit. It was understandable why Ayesha thought she could not tell Basit the truth but the way Ayesha lied to Basit about her whereabouts made no sense. She could easily have told him that she had gone to see her mother but she chose to lie. The Ayesha-Fahad meeting scene in last week’s episode was funny because Ayesha’s formal look at such a time was just as senseless as this entire track as a whole. This misunderstanding was forced into the story and I am still not certain why! If the writer(s) were hoping that the viewers would desperately wait for Basit and Ayesha to get back together then they were seriously mistaken. The drama could easily have ended by showing Basit falling in love with Ayesha, Bano, and Fahad getting married.
I found the dinner scene with Fahad and his mother hilarious. Fahad knew Basit was acting “strangely” and he could guess why but even then he continued to compliment Ayesha because obviously, his dil was squeaky clean. Common sense definitely left the room when this scene started. Later on, the poor guy was “shocked” at Basit’s behavior even though he knows about his friend’s state of mind better than anyone else. What Basit did was wrong, there’s no doubt about that but what Fahad and Ayesha did was just plain stupid.
The only good thing about these two episodes was Zoya’s track. I always felt that Aamir was taking Zoya for a ride but he definitely kept his end of the bargain. It was refreshing watching him stand by Zoya unlike before. Bobbi Phupo’s backstory was also revealed in these episodes but even after everything she said, Zoya’s mother was not too convinced. I also liked the way Bano was happy for her sister even though she misses having someone who will be by her side through thick and thin. I expected Bano to step in and explain the actual situation to Basit but the writer(s) clearly want to prolong the misunderstanding so that Bano and Fahad can bond while trying to resolve the issue.
Final Remarks
Habs has been an entertaining play with its highs and lows. The discrepancies and shortcomings in the script till now were easy to ignore but after this episode, it is really difficult for a viewer such as me, who looks for logic in the script to take Ayesha-Basit track seriously. The side tracks are definitely much more well-written than the main track. I just hope Bano’s track has a good, logical ending.

The Legend Of Maula Jatt is biggest upcoming Pakistani movie which has been directed by Bilal Lashari, the movie has been produced by Ammarah Hikmat, the film has a star-studded cast which includes Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Humaima Malick, Ali Azmat, Faris Shafi and Gohar Rasheed.

Recently, HUM network organized a fund raising gala in Toronto in collaboration with the artist who landed in Toronto to attend the award show. The funds will be handed over to the organizations helping out the families affected by floods. The total amount collected at the fund raising gala was 24000 CAD. Fiza Ali while sharing the struggles behind building her own first house, mentioned that “I bought my first apartment in Karachi. We used to live in a rented house when I started working. It was quite difficult for me to save money because I was completing my education and also I had to pay for my mother’s treatment and everyone knows that cancer treatment is quite expensive. But somehow I tried to save my money as I used to wear second hand clothes and shoes from Landa Bazar.”
“I never used to go for hoteling or spend money on extra things. Even on shoot, I never ordered anything to eat. If the team members or the staff used to give something to eat, I would eat it otherwise I always had dinner at home. We bought an apartment for 18 lacs from my savings and my mother sold her gold jewelry”, added Fiza.
Fiza further said that “After few months, my mother was in critical condition and we badly needed money at that time so we sold that apartment for my mothers treatment for 40 lacs. It was our luck that the apartment we bought for 18 lac was soled out in 40 lacs.”

Actor Feroze Khan has divorced his wife Syeda Aliza Sultan. Feroze Khan maintained that he divorced his former wife Syeda Aliza Sultan because there was a lack of understanding between them and the divorce was inevitable.
Ishqiya actor Feroze Khan visited the family court in Karachi for the hearing of his case of seeking visitation and custody rights of his two children Fatima & Sultan after the divorce from ex wife Syeda Aliza Sultan.
Feroze Khan filed the petition in the court of Family Judge-VIII (East). He has requested the court to give him the permanent custody of his children_ Sultan Khan and Fatima Khan. He filed the plea under Section 25 to meet his kids on weekly basis until the custody cases is decided, which comes under Section 12 of the Act. On Wednesday, in the hearing, Feroze met his children as well.
Feroze Khan’s Lawyer Faique Ali Jagirani quoted on behalf of his client, he said, “Feroze divorced Syeda Aliza Sultan on 3rd September 2022, “due to unavoidable circumstances and lack of understanding” between them due to her “disobedience”.
The lawyer further argued on his client’s behalf, “being the natural guardian of the minors, could not leave them at the mercy of his former wife as he had serious concerns and worries about his kids’ future because “Syeda Aliza Sultan is a careless lady”. Feroze Khan’s lawyer stated that the he has the rights to see, meet, visit his children and is authorized to have permanent hold of his kids.
His lawyer further quoted that Syeda Aliza Sultan is not allowing Feroze to meet his kids, lawyer also requested for weekly visitation rights till the court decides about custody of kids. After the hearing, the court directed Syeda Aliza Sultan to file her written statement on the application until October 01.
Pakistan is going through a very devastating time. The country which contributes less than 1% to the carbon emissions is one of the greatest effected by climate change.
