Ohkay so, I will give credit where it’s due before talking about all the things that didn’t work for me. This episode indeed had a fraction of important scenes to its credit, however yet again, the story did not move forward & they showed all the things that the viewers have memorized by now. Nothing, absolutely nothing takes away the fact that both Ahad Raza Mir & Sajal Aly have given brilliant performances but honestly speaking, now at this stage of the drama, especially after watching this episode, I felt even their stellar performances were unable to salvage this drama which has completely turned out to be a drag. Although as much as I liked the two scenes of Amaan & Ana, I feel the director relied a lot on them to do the heavy-lifting & wow the viewers – & they did what was expected from them but when the story fails to move forward & everything is just stuck in a rut, nothing works.
Filler Episode Filled With Noise Pollution
The setting in which Bua continued to tell Farhana Khala all the gruesome details about Nilofer’s death was so off-putting. Please tell me where this happens on a way to northern areas, while sitting at a ‘khokha’ as they call it in their native language, two people get to talk about such confidential matters so openly. Plus, this is Pakistan that we’re talking about, I couldn’t really wrap my head around the fact that two ladies were crying their hearts out & no one bothered asking them what happened. We all know how courteous & concerned people usually are, so no one dared ask them what was happening or what they were going through.
Natasha Hussain was the biggest mistake the casting directors made because if the writer had something this important that Farhana was finally going to be a part of at this stage of her life & the drama, she should’ve been someone with some acting skills up her sleeves. As much as Naima Khan played her part well while talking about her guilt & regrets, the robotic & constipated (yes I said it) expressions of Natasha Hussain took away the impact this entire scene & confession deserved to make.
Once again, it remains to be seen whether they are going to actually show how Nilofer was shot & who pulled the trigger in the remaining episodes or they just got done with her end just like that because I actually had to rewind thrice to actually understand that I wasn’t missing on how she died. It was absolutely random where the cars just left & cut to the next scene, they had her corpse with Ali Baksh handing sleeping Ana to Nargis Bua. If they really wanted to show the train scene, now was the time but I guess they are going to leave it till the last episode where it will be Ana who will remember everything. Anyhow, going by how everything was shown in this episode, it seemed totally random & haphazard.
This also happened to be one of the loudest episodes of Ye Dil Mera in terms of the background music because I can still feel my ears ringing. Be it the scene where Nilofer was running away with Ana, or the scene with Amaan & Meer Farooq exchanging yet another empty threats, or with Ali Baksh & his goons searching for Nilofer & then finding her or Nargis Bua & Farhana Khala finally making it to Amaan’s cottage, the music was the loudest which was actually deafening!
Meer Farooq’s change of location is another interesting point to be noted. Not sure why he isn’t in his home anymore from the last few episodes. Obviously they shot these scenes in the lobby of one of the hotels they were shooting in the northern areas, but at least they should’ve made it believable or similar to his house by showing him in one of the rooms. All these factors actually take away the charm & end up being too distracting.
Ana decided to show to the viewers of Pakistani drama industry that she had this level of acting in her, hats off to Sajal Aly for such phenomenal performance but that’s all there’s to it. Sadly, the crux of it was just that one fine day, at the comfort of her cottage & after having a proper hair care & blow dry session, she realized that all the dreams that she saw were not mere dreams. How did actually Ana put the pieces of the puzzle together that Ana & Amaan’s mothers used to be friends? How did she reach this conclusion? Yes, it is good that they are showing that gradually she is regaining those memories from the past but how so especially when she has not once left her room & stumbled upon evidence waiting for her on the sidewalks of Daryabgah? From the last few episodes, Ana gets a scene or two which happens to be the randomest of all & then the writer expects the viewers to take her character seriously?
I so wanted Amaan to give her alllllllll the answers that she was looking for, but he just sat there stunned as if all the things she was saying were so new that even Amaan didn’t know how to respond? Amaan brought Ana to Daryabagh to remind her of all those memories, so now when she is picking up the pieces, instead of serving her with numerous glasses of water & countless cheese omlettes, he should just tell her the truth. Keeping her in the lurch only after telling her that her father is a murderer is not making much sense anyways!
Some of the things were made clear that the letter that Nilofer wrote to her father was posted by Nargis Bua after her death & then he kept it a secret from the rest of his family members, this is why Farhana never really knew what went wrong & she didn’t have much reason to hold Meer Farooq accountable for Nilofer’s death for so many years. It was until she visited Pakistan for Ana’s wedding when she started to sense something plus Amaan continued to steer her thoughts & forced her to think about the mystery surrounding Nilofer’s death.
Drag
This episode was a filler & it is sad how long they have stretched this drama. Farhat Ishtiyaq is an experienced writer, therefore it is unfortunate to see that she couldn’t foresee what might go wrong if she didn’t contain the script within limited number of episodes. When it comes to dramas like Yakeen Ka Safar, they do have a margin to stretch & prolong but with thrillers like these, this sort of treatment is a no no but sadly, this is what Ye Dil Mera has come down to.
It seems next week we’ll have to tune in to see how far & fast can Ana run because once again, she will behave irrationally even after finding out the truth that eventually made it to her without even moving a muscle. Also, the exchange of expressions between Amaan, Farhana Khala & Nargis Bua in the last scene was so cold & unconvincing it was as if Amaan wasn’t even shocked to see them & Farhana Khala was giving him a side-eye saying jante homai kaun hoon? Looks like Meer Farooq is going to lose his sanity, hmmm let’s just hope the writer does not opt for the easy way out & actually shows him staying sane & paying the price for what he did, that too legally along with Sahib Ali Baksh. I absolutely understand this episode might’ve worked for a lot of viewers, but it just didn’t work for me. Please share your thoughts about this episode of Ye Dil Mera.
Indian Journalist recently took twitter to write about the popularity of Dirilis: Ertugrul in Pakistan.
She wrote: ” Now that Pakistanis, after watching Ertugrul in Urdu, have finally found an identity that they can adopt to hide their Indian roots & history, Pakistan should now officially declare its merger with Turkey, kneel before the Caliph Erdogan & rename itself as Greater Turkistan.”
Now that Pakistanis, after watching #Ertugrul in Urdu, have finally found an identity that they can adopt to hide their Indian roots & history, Pakistan should now officially declare its merger with Turkey, kneel before the Caliph Erdogan & rename itself as Greater Turkistan. 😉
Well such a non sense thing it is to say. As a Muslim we all are very well aware of our roots and we remember our glorious past. We remember how Muslim ruled the sub-continent. We also remember the scuffles of our leaders and their triumph in the from Pakistan an Independent Islamic State. We don’t have to conceal our roots we are proud of them. We are proud that we belong to Indian sub-continent, which was ruled and governed by our ancestors.
If our nation is falling for the noble Muslim history we all are OK with it. If our youth is encountering how coruscating Muslim leaders were, we are happy with it. At least they are not wasting their time watching the idiotic content proposed by your country that isn’t tolerable by any sensible person at all. We respect all the nationalities and praise good work done by anyone. You must go and do something more productive rather than pin pointing thing you don’t even have any idea of. Lastly, instead of keeping an eye on what is happening in Pakistan it would be better if you give some constructive ideas to your drama industry as well because the stuff they are producing is as doltish as your statement.

Laylat al Qadr or Shab e Qadar (Night of Power or Night of Decree) according to the Quranic verses is considered “better than a thousand months.” This blessed and powerful night falls in the last 10 days of Ramazan. It could be any of the odd nights of the holy month of Ramazan. Any good deed whether it is a kind gesture, sadqa, reciting the holy Quran, praying nawafils or doing charity of any kind at all, its reward is multiplied. It is also believed that this is the night when Allah shows great mercy to His creation and the night in which one’s fate is decreed.
That is why many Muslims all around the world isolate themselves from everyone and dedicate these 10 days and nights to the worship of Allah. Many of the Islamic scholars are convinced that it is impossible to tell which night it could be. They are also of the opinion that every year, Laylat al Qadr could be on a different night of Ramazan. It would however surely be one of the odd nights and not the even ones (e.g. the 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27 or 29th night).

Laylat al Qadr Surah
Surah Al-Qadr is in the 97th chapter of the Qur’an and it has a total of 5 verses. In this Surah, Allah informs that He sent the Quran down during the Night of Al-Qadr, and it is a blessed night. This is the Night of Al-Qadr and it occurs during the month of Ramadan. The fact that an entire Surah was dedicated to this blessed night basically goes to show its importance.
Laylat al Qadr Hadiths
There are many hadiths about Laylat al Qadr which guide the Muslims towards the right direction. Here are some hadiths which highlight the significance of this powerful divine night.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Seek it in the last ten days, on the odd nights,” (Hadith, Bukhari, and Muslim).
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever prays on Laylatul Qadr out of faith and sincerity, shall have all their past sins forgiven.” (Hadith, Bukhari, and Muslim).
The Prophet said, “Abusing a Muslim is Fusuq (an evil doing) and killing him is Kufr (disbelief).” Narrated Ubada bin As-Samit: “Allah’s Messenger (SAW) went out to inform the people about the (date of the) night of decree (Al-Qadr) but there happened a quarrel between two Muslim men. The Prophet (SAW) said, “I came out to inform you about (the date of) the night of Al-Qadr, but as so and so and so and so quarreled, its knowledge was taken away (I forgot it) and maybe it was better for you. Now look for it in the 7th, the 9th, and the 5th (of the last 10 nights of the month of Ramadan).” (From, Sahih Bukhari. Chapter 2, Belief, Narrated/Authority of Abdullah)
Laylat ul Qadr Dua
Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, said, I asked the Messenger of Allah: ‘O Messenger of Allah if I know what night is the night of Qadr, what should I say during it?’ He said: ‘Say: O Allah, You are pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon me.’ “(Ahmad, Ibn Majah, and Tirmidhi). The transliteration of this Dua is “Allahumma innaka `afuwwun tuhibbul `afwa fa`fu `annee”
Other than this, of course, the Muslims all around the world can ask Allah for whatever they desire. This dua, however, proves that it is most important to ask for Allah’s forgiveness in this blessed night.
Laylat al Qadr Prayer
There are many different ways to dedicate one’s self wholly to prayer in these last 10 power nights of Ramazan. One of the ways many people follow is sitting in i’tikaf. There are many different ways people isolate themselves from everyone so that they can wholeheartedly devote themselves to gaining Allah’s blessings and forgiveness. Some people sit in i’tikaf in Masjids while others do so in the comfort of their own homes. It is also possible to make the intention of Nawafil I’tikaf each and every time one enters the masjid to gain rewards for the time spent in the masjid.
Many people who do not sit in i’tikaf also assemble together in Masjids to pray. They try to worship in all these 10 nights or as many days as they can manage. Every Muslim tries their best to pray as many nawafil as possible to catch the true reward of Laylat al Qadr. The best nawafil prayer is tahajjud as it is a prayer that allows you to get closer to Allah. It can be prayed after Isha’ until just before Fajr begins.
Praying Taraweeh during Laylatul Qadr will bring rewards of over 83 years for each and every letter recited by the imam and for each and every prostration (sajda).
Laylat al Qadr Namaz
The Prophet peace be upon him said: “Whoever draws near to Allah during it (Ramazan) with a single characteristic from the characteristics of (voluntary) goodness, he is like whoever performs an obligatory act in other times. And whoever performs an obligatory act during it, he is like whoever performed seventy obligatory acts in other times.” – Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah, no. 1887.
There are certain tips to be followed in order to make the most of your namaz in the last 10 days of Ramazan. You can pray Isha’ and Taraweeh. Pray 2 raka’ahs of tahiyyatul masjid upon arriving at the masjid and 4 raka’ahs of sunnah (this is often neglected) before the 4 fard of Isha’. When Taraweeh ends, it is best to make yourself ready to pray until Fajr. That is the best way of making the most of this blessed night, even if one is not sitting in i’tikaf.
Laylat al Qadr What To Do
There are many ways to make the most of Laylat al Qadr by making praying to Allah and reciting the Holy Quran a priority above all other. Sitting in Itekaf is the best way of trying to get the best rewards from this blessed night Even if someone cannot do that, there are many ways in which they can dedicate their time to prayer and reciting duas.
Dedicating your evenings and nights to worship is the best way to make the most of these blessed nights. Try to catch up on your sleep afterward or sleep during the day, even if you have to sacrifice your sleep for some time, it would most certainly be worth it.
Apart from your daily prayers, add additional nawafil to your nightly routines.
Learn duas which will please Allah and through which you can ask for forgiveness. Makes these duas as meaningful as possible by learning the meaning and knowing what you are asking Allah for.
Recite the Holy Quran with translation, as much as you can. Abdur-Razaq said, “When Ramadan came, SufyanAth-Thawri would give up all acts of (voluntary) worship and devote himself to the recitation of the Qur’an.
This could also be the best time for you to nourish your faith and evaluate yourself. In a world when we are constantly judging others, self-evaluation can also be a big virtue. Abu Huraira narrated that the Messenger said: Whoever stands (in prayer) in Laylatul Qadr while nourishing his faith with self-evaluation, expecting reward from Allah, will have all of his previous sins forgiven. (Bukhari and Muslim).
Doing charity of any kind at all is a brilliant way of pleasing Allah. There are so many different ways this can be done in abundance. Consider these 10 blessed nights as the best time to have quality time with your creator and make the most of it. Make sure your family and friends join you.

Ertugrul, the Turkish series that traces back the history of one of the biggest Islamic empire, the Ottoman Empire, is currently being broadcast in Pakistan on PTV. The series was broadcast mainly because of the approval and insistence of the prime minister of the country, Imran Khan, who stated, Ertugrul, would allow people to trace back their Islamic roots and get in touch with the rich Muslim history.
Although the series is excellently directed with high production values and is being loved all over, a number of celebrities in Pakistan have taken a stand against it. But that focuses on an entirely different reason about how Ertugrul is eating up the business for the local drama industry.
However, one religious scholar, the very renowned Zakir Naik, recently came up with a fatwa about how watching Ertugrul was indeed haraam (not permissible in Islaam.)
In a video on social media, Zakir Naik is seen stating that Ertugrul is Haraam. “There are women without hijaab in the series, there is music in it, there are certain things in the series which go against a Muslim’s aqeedah so therefore it is not fully permissible in Islam.”
Adding further, Zakir Naik also stated, “There are no kissing scenes or love making scenes in the series like those Bollywood or Hollywood films, the bigger harams, but yes, there are certain things which make it Haraam. Therefore someone who is not watching Ertugrul, I will say not to watch it because it is Haraam.”
Ohkay so, this was yet another happening episode of Kashf. So many important events unfolded in this episode & it had Danish Nawaz’s direction written all over it. The best part about the dramas directed by Danish Nawaz is that he always gives equal coverage & insights into the thought processes of all the characters, that is why even a single scene becomes so wholesome because everyone is contributing to it in one way or the other. Another aspect that makes Kashf such an interesting watch is that the writer has come up with a lot of characters, therefore when they are brought together, they complete the picture with each of them having different takes on life.
Important Developments
Rashida realized her mistake. It took her a long time to finally understand that whatever happened with Shumaila was in her best interest & Kashf in no way had anything to do with what Rashida thought was a misfortune for her daughter. Although she did try to rectify her mistake but it once again showed how shallow she was that she actually needed an evidence to believe Kashf & deem her as innocent. Writer Imran Nazeer has aptly shown how such concepts are hardwired into people where they immediately put others on such a pedestal giving them all the power & control over whatever comes their way, without even thinking for a second that this has nothing to do with them in the first place & whatever they are facing is the Divine Decree. Now that Rashida was left with no excuse to misjudge Kashf, she was convinced whereas when Wajdan as well as Shumaila tried to make her understand, she chose not to budge.
Kashf wasn’t surprised because she already knew this is what Rashida was going to do. The way Kashf already knows what’s in store for her makes me feel for her a lot because even when she comes across the things that she should actually be happy about, the thought of bitter realities awaiting her do not escape her mind. Kashf handing over the money to her mother was actually symbolic of how she already knew this is what she was going to do in the future, therefore she didn’t wait for the right time & started then & there.
The difference in Kashf’s behavior was evident in this episode, she was shattered & heart-broken, she was also trying to strengthen herself because she knew she had a never-ending journey waiting for her ahead. However, now she started speaking her heart out. She was still very subliminal about it, but at least it was kind of relieving to see that she was not trying to become a saint who was going to take whatever comes her way. Kashf is the victim of her circumstances, but there’s a difference that the writer has carefully established by showing that she is only accepting everything because through her dreams she has already seen there’s no escape, however she still tries to take charge of whatever’s in her might.
Imtiyaz continued to pester & intimidate his wife & his sister, which was in other way a pressure tactic that he was using on Kashf by showing her that she was now in control of whatever he’d do to them. Imtiyaz knows Kashf will never allow anything to happen to her family members, therefore she will oblige & do what he will ask her of. Kashf still had hope, she knows she can not run away from the fate that has been sealed for her, but she displayed some signs of hope when Wajdan’s parents came to ask for her proposal once again. Kashf sat there hoping things would change for the better but once again, her father did not disappoint her. Also, her sister Zoya has now started to prove to Kashf that the dream that she saw will be materialized, this is why Kashf just took a step back because she knew she was not capable of fighting fate, as well as her conniving sister Zoya.
Wajdan’s character has emerged out to be stronger than it first seemed like. He has proved time & again that he loves Kashf & will walk an extra mile to make her feel secure but sadly, he doesn’t know how hard it already is for Kashf because now her father is not going to let go of her. Wajdan decided to take the matters in his hands. The scene where Irum tried to convince Kashf of running away with Wajdan was one of the strongest scenes of this episode because Hira Mani’s performance was absolutely brilliant. She was clear in her portrayal of all the thoughts that were running through Kashf’s mind.
Matiullah & Ashi’s scene was another one of the strongest scenes in this episode. It was strong in terms of performances as well as the plans that were shared regarding Kashf. Ashi is protective of Kashf, at times even more than her mother. It makes sense because Dilshad has lived a one-dimensional life with no power or control over her life because of her dominating husband, however Ashi has experienced life bitterly & differently, therefore she feels it’s her duty to not only protect Kashf but also do what it takes to keep her safe. Ashi is the voice of reason in this house, this is why she doesn’t shy away from calling spade a spade & whenever she deems right, she gives it back to Imtiyaz as well as holds her mother responsible for her wrong decisions when it comes to her parenting. Ashi’s character is turning out to be very strong & she is definitely my favorite.
The writer has also shown how important it is for a woman to have an exposure & financial independence, obviously with men like Imtiyaz around, it is a constant battle that such strong & independent women have to fight but at least, they do get brownie points for not staying silent & letting the tyrants do as they wish. Ashi is definitely an obstacle in Imtiyaz’s plans but unfortunately with Kashf being so submissive, there’s not much that she can do!
Strongest Performances
This episode was interesting with all the conversations sounding so real that as a viewer, I could actually feel the emotions of all the characters. Hira Mani continues to impress as Kashf. She has given such a phenomenal performance that she proves every step of the way that this character was made for her. Every expression, every emotion has been displayed with such clarity that the viewers find it very easy to relate to her. Junaid Khan has been very impressive as Wajdan too. The way he broke down after Kashf didn’t show up was very emotional. He showed how heart-broken he was. He is sincere but to see his sincerity not being reciprocated is taking a toll on him. With Ashi losing her job & Kashf seeing yet another dream, it is obvious that now all the financial burden will be on her & she will have no other option than to do what Imtiyaz has been asking her to. Waseem Abbas, Munazzah Arif, Hajra Khan & Saleem Mairaj – all of them have given measured performances. The actresses playing the roles of sisters are doing a great job too. All in all, Kashf is a well-thought out project where the writer & the director had a clear vision about it & they are doing what it takes to make it worthwhile. Please share your thoughts about this episode of Kashf.

Turkish dramas airing in Pakistan is nothing odd. Nor is it a new feat. Pakistan started airing Turkish dramas about a decade ago and they became all the rage then too. Ishq E Mamnoon was a big hit and it started of a chain reaction of sorts where one Turkish drama after another was dubbed in Urdu and aired on popular channel.
ishq e mamnoon
In fact if Pakistani drama industry has had a strong rival after Indian soaps, it has to be Turkish dramas, that brought about a strong storyline and rather engaging cast. A number of celebrities spoke out back when Ishq E Mamnoon aired.
““I don’t want to see a future where I am going to do voice acting on someone else’s face; that is simply outrageous,” Humayun Saeed had said back then.
Now, ever since another Turkish series, Ertugrul started airing on PTV, a lot of celebrities have again called out the Pakistani government for airing foreign content and not supporting their own. Yasir Hussain, Shaan Shahid, Reeman and others have voiced their opinions strongly against the airing of Dirilis Ertugrul on PTV.
However, a number of celebrities have appreciated the government’s stance, stating how cultural exchange through content is a commendable feat.
Here’s what Pakistan’s top celebrities have been saying while supporting the airing of Turkish content on Pakistan’s state run television;
My two cents. Any foreign content which is being appreciated by our Pakistani audience is not a threat! It’s a competition like in any business! If you want job security, take ownership, and create better content. Stop being petty. #TakeResponsibility#Ertugrul (1/2)
In the name of competition, you don’t criticize your competition, instead, bring your A-game on! Fix your attitude. That’s what I have learned from my seniors like Humayun bhai. We must embrace diversity and not be scared of it! #TakeResponsibility#Ertugrul (2/2)
I don’t know what the fuss is all abt? At the end of the day lets accept Dirilis #Ertugrul for wht it is; an educational drama series which has historical significance & gr8 moral lessons.I think Engin Altan Düzyatan is pretty hot. A bit like Leonardo Di Caprio no?#crushupdated♥
Sharing my response to a post that insinuated our jobs are under threat:
I don't recall us actors finding ourselves jobless when Ishq-e-Mamnoon or Mera Sultan were all the rage in Pakistan. Nor did Turkish actors 'infiltrate' the local industry & replace us. – contd.
— Osman Khalid Butt 🇵🇸 (@aClockworkObi) May 18, 2020
Plus, isn't this creating more job opportunities for local dubbing/VO artists? Also: praising a show like Ertugrul that promotes the importance of religion, culture & customs with nuance doesn't automatically mean one doesn't support the local industry. – contd.
— Osman Khalid Butt 🇵🇸 (@aClockworkObi) May 18, 2020
Of course, I'd love it if our national television uses the revenue generated from this series to create our own original content – shows that can rival Ertugrul in narrative if not in scale, and showcase our own historical events.

Recently a video of Shahid Afridi’s went viral. The video showed Pakistan’s favorite cricket player, Lala, roasting Indians during an event in Azad Kashmir. Lala went on to state that Modi (the Indian PM) had a mind more infectious than the coronavirus. Afridi also roasted the Indian Air Force, calling Abhinandan and the rest of the IAF officers *choozay* (chicks) whom Pakistan had treated well in the sky, offered them tea and then sent them back.
Following Lala’s comments, the entire neighboring nation went on fire, and a number of cricketers also called out Afridi for pointing out Modi.
Pak has 7 lakh force backed by 20 Cr ppl says 16 yr old man @SAfridiOfficial. Yet begging for Kashmir for 70 yrs. Jokers like Afridi, Imran & Bajwa can spew venom against India & PM @narendramodi ji to fool Pak ppl but won't get Kashmir till judgment day! Remember Bangladesh?
Really disappointed by @SAfridiOfficial‘s comments on our Hon’b PM @narendramodi ji. As a responsible Indian who has played for the country, I will never accept such words. I made an appeal on your behest for the sake of humanity. But never again.
However, following Afridi’s comments, the cricketer has been trending on top in Pakistan. Pakistanis have been calling Afridi a lion and a brave heart to have commented on Modi’s school of thoughts. Twitter had been lauding Afridi and the comments are absolutely hilarious when it comes to roasting Indians.
Here’s what the entire Twitter has been saying;
Indian cricketers going ballistic & their ilk lauding their tweets mass-attacking Shahid Afridi for his comments on Kashmir and India's current reality is a very amusing display of how even ONE Pakistani cricketer has the power to make 1000s lose their rationality and humanity.

The blessed month of Ramadan is about to end and Eid is just around the corner. Now is the time when everyone is enthusiastically planning their Eid looks and trying to make up a mind about what they are going to wear.
Celebrities always play a huge part in influencing their fans and followers styling and makeup choices. This also happens because throughout the month of Ramadan, the TV audience get to see their favorite celebrities on-screen or in these days, on social media, wearing new and in-trend clothes, stylized differently as well as carrying such hair and makeup looks which are done keeping the personality as well as outfit of the celebrity in mind. This gives the audience a clear perspective of what is going to look good and what’s in fashion.
Here are 5 celebrity looks that you can take your Eid inspiration from:
The No Makeup Look
This look of Sana Javed is perfect for the early risers and those who are the first ones to host their family members and relatives at their homes for Eid breakfast. This look is not only easy to achieve but is going to get you started for the day, without putting in too much effort.
A hint of eyeshadow on the eyes to give them depth and definition and a coat of mascara is all that is needed for the eye look. The eyebrows need light-handed definition to frame the face without looking too harsh. The rest of the face can be covered in a lighter coverage powder foundation to target the discoloration and give an even skin tone. A peachish pink blush on the apples of the cheeks and a sheer tint or colored lip gloss to complete the look. This will barely take your time and will also look good in early morning Eid pictures.
The hair style is also perfect for those who don’t want the hair strands getting in the way because a major part of the Eid day is spent serving the food that is cooked in the house to the guests. Twisting the hair strands and pinning them at the back is the easiest hairstyle to achieve.
The Natural Looking Makeup With Hints of Color
This hair and makeup look that Alizeh Shah sports is going to be perfect for the afternoon of Eid. This will not demand a lot of time but is achievable when you’re not in rush. In this look, eyes are defined with a few eyeshadows. A color on the lid and darker browns on the crease and under the eye to make them appear bigger. A few coats of mascara and tightlining of the eye which will give your eyes a depth without having to spend time on perfecting the eyeliner. Defined eyebrows will also need some patience but can be done in 2 minutes.
This look is also going to include bronzing around the face for the sun-kissed look. Light bronzing on the hollows of the cheeks, around the forehead and on the jawline. Blush merged with bronzed areas of the cheeks to give a feminine and fresh look. A nude shade lip color, can either be a nude brown, nude pink or even a mauve, which won’t be too much and just subtle enough to complete the look.
The hair can be straightened in no time and will stay tamed throughout the day. They can be tied in sleek ponytail when it gets too hot bearing the hot and humid weather of Pakistan in mind.
The Classic Winged Eyeliner & Red Pout
This look is going to be perfect if you’re wearing a unique colored dress and do not want to bring all those colors on your face. This look carried by Hania Amir is also easily achievable and is the sort that will not go wrong. The winged eyeliner might terrify people but when applied with eye pencil, winged eyeliners do not take a lot of time. In this look, a shimmery eyeshadow blended into the crease with a basic brown shade is all the work that will be done on the eyes. The entire look will be completed with a winged eyeliner and lots of mascara.
The face won’t also need a lot of shading and coloring because the main attention will be on the lips however a little bronzing and peachish blush is always a good idea. The main attraction will be a red lip. Since Eid day is all about eating delicious food, going for a liquid lipstick is going to be a safe bet because it won’t budge.
The hairstyle is also easily achievable and probably the most practical because in this weather, keeping the hair untied is not only difficult but hard to maintain. Hair parted in the center and tied in a sleek bun is summer appropriate and will give you an elegant look.
The Basic Eye & Bold Lip Look
This makeup look of Ayeza Khan is also going to be your quick fix during Eid. This kind of look can be worn at any time of the day and barely needs any time. It will make one look made up without having to put in a lot of effort. The eyes only need 2 shades nicely blended together. This eyelook is complete without eyeliner and just a bit of mascara. The darker shade can be extended under the eye to make them appear bigger.
The rest of the face can be done with either liquid or powder foundation. Another beautiful aspect of this look is the shimmery highlighter applied on the cheekbones and other high points of the face. The product that will complete the look will be the bold colored lipstick, it can be a shade of plum or maroon or even bright darker pink, any color can be used to finish of the look.
The hair can be styled in loose curls and little volume can be added by slightly backcombing the hair, it will allow the hair to sit nicely and stay in place. The hair can be set loose at the back or moved in front of the shoulder.
The Full Glam With Nude Lip
This look of Nadia Khan is appropriate for the big Eid family dinner. It will definitely demand some effort and time to get the finished look but it is going to work and will be very flattering as well as Eid appropriate. This look includes dark smokey eyes with liner, kajal and even false eyelashes if you’re comfortable wearing them. Properly shaped eyebrows to define the face.
The face makeup will have the margin of light contour and bronzing. Peachish blush will compliment the dark eye look perfectly. Highlighter will tie this look together and give the face that extra Eid glow. The lips should be kept nude using lighter shaded lipstick to prevent the makeup look from going overboard. This is going to be the glam version of Eid makeup. Hair can be curled and set on a side, which will look absolutely gorgeous and give you a well-put together look.
These 5 celebrity looks are a good way to get your Eid inspiration? What do you think? Feel free to share your opinion in the comment section below.

Who wouldn’t notice the cute little boy, who has been making an appearance on Jeeto Pakistan for two years now. Ahmed Shah, the little kid who went viral because of his anger, has now become a celebrity thanks to ARY Digital and Jeeto PAkistan. Ahmed is a constant fixture on Jeeto Pakistan, Fahad Mustafa’s game show and with his adorable antics, keeps the audience and the guests entertained.
Ahmed Shah is the favorite of all guests and celebrities who make an appearance on Jeeto. He keeps them entertained and people just love this cute chubby and very adorable child.
Recently we found a very cute video of Ahmed Shah on social media, which shows Ahmed, sending off love to all his fans.
In an attempt to pull his leg, when Ahmed metions how he really likes Mahira Khan, the host has a prank up his sleeve. He questions the kid but Ahmed Shah soon puts him into his place. Upon the host’s asking, as to whom he would like to marry amongst Mahira or Mehwish, Ahmed confidently replies that he’d only marry when he grows up and that both Mehwish and Mahira have together found a girl, his age, for him.
Seems like as much as Pakistanis are loving and appreciating the show, Dirilis Ertugrul, the Turkish cast of the series also seems to be reciprocating the love of their Pakistani audiences.
While we recently saw, Esra Bilgic who played Halima Sultan in the show, promise her PAkistani fans to come see them soon and sent her love all the way from Turkey, it is now Engin Altan, who plays the titular character of the drama, Ertugrul, who showered his appreciation for love from his Pakistani audiences.
Moreover, Engin has also promised his Pakistani fans that he’ll come see them soon.
“I love you Pakistan, thank you for watching us. I hope I can come to meet all of you one day,” wrote Engin on his Instagram story.
Alongside Engin, another favorite actor from the series, Cengiz Coskunnn who plays Turgut Alp in the series, also expressed his gratitude for his Pakistani fans, also hoping to come visit them soon.
In Pakistan Ertugrul is the talk of town now a days. A new debate has started since PTV started airing the series; that whether our national TV should broadcast content from another country or not. Many actors came with some points that why Turkish content shouldn’t be aired on our national TV. They also raised a point that we should air our own content and support our own media Industry. Whereas some other people from the industry came forward with a stance that it is ok to broadcast good and quality content, it doesn’t matter to which it belongs.
Our public is even bashing people against the broadcasting of Ertugrul and they are asking them to make worthy dramas and movies so that we don’t have to look towards other countries for quality entertainment.
Under such circumstances Armeena Rana Khan came forward with a drama suggestion.
Armeena wrote: “You want to watch good Pakistani content? Watch “Alif” and encourage all that you think reflects your own culture. Responsibility lies on both sides (audience and content makers) supply and demand. Thank you, have a nice day.”
Alif is was the blockbuster drama from the previous term starring Sajal Aly and HamzaAli Abbasi in lead roles. the drama threw light over the beautiful relationship of Allah swt and human.
It has been a while that Areeba’s fans have not seen her in a lead role but that does not stop her fan following on her social media. Areeba Habib is one of the highly recognized Pakistani fashion models who turned in actresses. She was one of the contestants of Miss Veet 2011.
