Ohkay so, this episode of Do Bol was nice & took the story forward. It is interesting how minor details have been covered which makes this drama very real & easy to relate to. Do Bol is a story of regular people facing difficulties & problems in their lives while dealing with everything that comes their way as they deem fit.
Gaiti finally got to meet Kiran & she conveyed Gaiti everything that she wanted to say. Kiran tried to convince Gaiti but then again, she knew she had to take Badar on board because Gaiti was persistent about not coming to attend her Nikkah function. All the efforts that Nafeesa has put into letting Gaiti know that she still loves her & misses her are so heart-touching. If there’s one person in the family who is sincere to Gaiti, it has to be Nafeesa but then it is unfortunate that she hasn’t been able to get in touch with Gaiti after her marriage.
In this episode, seeing how Firdous has been manipulating every single situation to her advantage, I kind of felt that may be she has everything to do with Jahan Ara going out of Iqbal’s life. Firdous can never see anyone happy, that’s a done deal, for her, Zafar & her own agendas matter the most so I kind of feel she must’ve pushed Jahan Ara to the limit where she had to take this decision as after seeing Jahan Ara, she seems to be quite a reasonable & rational person.
On the day of Neelam’s Nikkah, everything went according to Firdous’s plan where she wanted Badar to be insulted & Gaiti to lose her place in Iqbal’s heart even more. Firdous could see that Iqbal was struggling ever since Gaiti left, therefore she had to twist everything to make him feel that he meant nothing to Gaiti & she was still holding onto her pride & ego. While watching this episode, I actually wondered if Iqbal will ever be able to see Firdous’s true colors? Like he is in that stage of life where he is used to being controlled by Firdous & he never ever questions her choices, so will he ever be able to put two & two together to actually see Firdous for who she is? I hope it happens though!
Jamshed came back to fake his sympathy & derive some pleasure out of it but then Gaiti did realize that it must’ve Jamshed behind the attack on Badar. Without even questioning Gaiti, Badar immediately believed that Jamshed must’ve done that but unfortunately when he tried to convince his family, he was taunted for giving too much authority to Gaiti to cloud his judgments. There’s absolutely nothing new in the entire setting of Badar’s family, they have a whining mother, a sick father, a desperate-for-marriage-bitter-sister & one younger sister who is the sane one after Badar & their father in that house. I think this entire Rania’s Rishta scene is being dragged & its mentions are getting quite repetitive. I find Rania annoying but then I won’t entirely blame her. Qudsia keeps on yapping about her marriage in front of Rania all the time so it’s pretty much expected that she’d react every single time. Both Rania & Qudsia need to take a deep breath & relax, I am sure they themselves are tired of wheezing too!
So, Jahan Ara returned & she found out about Gaiti. She not only decided to get back in contact with Gaiti but also brought her home too. Nafees is well-aware of Jahan Ara’s past but after looking at how he relied on his wife to fetch clothes for him after all these years, it was pretty obvious that he won’t be fine with Gaiti’s presence in his house & Jahan Ara’s life. Showing acceptance to someone’s past is one thing but seeing a reminder of it in front of you all the time is not easy & Nafees made it pretty obvious but Jahan Ara didn’t see that yet.
One of the heart touching moments of this episode was the conversation between Nafeesa & Iqbal about Gaiti. Iqbal was actually concerned when he saw Nafeesa & heard whatever she wanted to say about Gaiti. Iqbal wants to undo whatever has happened but even his ego is getting the better of him. I am sure something huge will have to happen in order for Iqbal to put everything aside & welcome Gaiti & Badar back into his life. I think Zafar has kind of laid the foundation for it to happen because he is taking irrational decisions regarding the family business & it seems that Iqbal is not too satisfied with whatever he heard. I am glad that in the preview of the next episode, Nafeesa is telling Iqbal to go to the office & analyse the situation himself. I so want Iqbal to realize how Nafeesa has always supported him & stood by him through thick & thin. I want him to acknowledge her efforts & appreciate her for whatever she has done for him so far.
Overall this episode of Do Bol was really nice. I must say Haris Waheed is such a gifted actor, I am impressed with the kind of treatment he has given to Zafar’s character where he has tried to keep the mean streak in him subdued while still making it obvious. Very impressive. Hira Mani looked beautiful in this episode as well & we saw some amazing acting by Affan Waheed in the last scene of this episode where he could not deal with the fact that Gaiti left him. The girl playing the role of Rafiya is another star of this drama, I love her subtle but brilliant expressions. The direction, production value, dialogues, script, acting, everything is spot on. Shamoon Abbasi shocked everyone when he released the trailer of his film Durj last year. The film is based on cannibalism and he took his inspiration from real-life events for the film. The film has Sherry Shah also in the lead role and both the actors looked intense and dark in the trailer that was released. The film will be released sometime this year ad the good news is that it is also going to the Cannes Film Festival.
The film was submitted for the coveted festival and it has passed the initial phase. If everything goes right, Durj will become the first ever Pakistani feature to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival.

The opening scenes of this episode were brilliantly executed; the powerful performances and hard-hitting dialogues made these scenes impactful. These scenes showed Kashif Nisar’s brilliance since he made sure that every single expression was captured and the viewers felt everything the characters were going through. Hajra found out tonight that the house Chaudhry invited her to was actually Shayan’s house. Rehan revealed this secret after Hajra praised Shayan for his commitment to their relationship. Imran Ashraf and Yumna Zaidi acted exceptionally well in this opening scene. The scene covering Hajra’s visit to that house was also equally powerful. Hajra’s anger, shock and the sense of betrayal she felt was evident from her body language as well as expressions. She had just started to trust Shayan completely after the incident with Chaudhry therefore she felt like a fool herself too. Hajra holds her self-respect really dear which is why she never gave Chaudhry another chance. Although, she escaped unharmed but even then it took her months to get over what had happened. After meeting Shayan she had enough confidence to tell Rehan exactly what she thought about him.
Rehan’s ego is hurt and that is the only reason why he wants Hajra in his life. Shayan’s relationship with his mother was also explored further in this episode. Their conversations revealed their feelings for Hajra and the respect both of them had for her. Shayan specially mentioned Hajra’s bravery and that basically showed that after finding out everything that transpired between Chaudhry and Hajra, his conclusion was that Hajra was extremely brave to escape from such a situation. The fact that she had the courage to share all this with Shayan must have made her appreciate her strength of character even more. Hajra and Shayan both are extremely likable characters who have flaws which make them more human.
Tonight’s episode also showed the kind of relationship Rehan had with his mother (Munazzah Arif). This is the first time that Munazzah Arif is playing such a character. It was definitely ‘new’ watching her in this role especially because of her overall look. She is a superb actress who always breathes life into her characters. The ‘modern’ upbringing and absence of any kind of limits was apparent from all these scenes. The mother was quite comfortable with everything from drug abuse to affairs.
The environment in Rehan’s house pretty much summed up why he has no moral values and absolutely no concept of respecting other people’s wishes. He is a spoiled brat who is used to having his way. Self gratification comes first and last for him. He doesn’t even see Hajra as a human being but as something he wants. He is also unable to understand how Shayan managed to win Hajra over since he failed to do so. Rehan Chaudhry surely comes from a completely different world. The writer has avoided cliches intelligently by showing that not all rich people are the same. Shayan is also affluent and clearly his father is an influential person yet he has certain values.
I absolutely love Hajra’s father’s character; he is so open-minded and loving. His dialogues have been penned down beautifully and Rehan Sheikh fits perfectly in this role. The relationship these two have is simply beautiful. Sami Khan translated Shayan’s anger, helplessness and eagerness to set things right superbly on screen tonight.
I am sure tonight the viewers had absolutely no trouble connecting to all the characters. Rehan Chaudhry’s scenes tonight clearly showed that there was absolutely no one who could hold him accountable therefore this man was capable of doing anything at all to get what he wants. Yumna Zaidi, Imran Ashraf and Sami Khan’s outstanding performances made this episode one of the best episodes of Inkaar so far. Will Hajra forgive Shayan? How far will Rehan Chaudhry go if she goes ahead with this marriage? Waiting to find out.

Ohkay so, I hope this was probably the last filler episode of Cheekh that we saw this week, however I am glad that the story has finally moved to that phase where the case has been taken to the court. I hope they don’t drag things further & carry on with the case with a decent pace. The most important scene of this episode turned out to be the very last scene but then again, that’s where it ended.
This episode mainly focused on how Mannat & her mother were being intimidated & how Mannat was fighting back. After whatever happened at Mannat’s home, she had one thing clear that no matter what happens, the police won’t be siding with her at all. It was unnecessary but more than half of the episode was dedicated to Mannat’s mother & how scared she was, which made it obvious that this was a filler episode.
The one thing that I found quite interesting to learn about was Yawar’s character. They showed how he can not father a child but has made his wife Shahwar believe that she has the complications & not him. This aspect cleared two things; the first one being the reason why he takes Wajih as his child, that is because Yawar can not have his own, that is why he has started to look for that love in Wajih’s existence. The second one being the reason why Yawar is not even thinking for a second about Nayab or even Mannat. Since he is someone who has no issues betraying the trust of his wife, probably the woman who trusts him the most, therefore for a person like Yawar, Nayab or even Mannat hold no importance at all. I kind of enjoyed how the writer has added all this depth & detailing in a supporting but very important character like Yawar. I also felt that by letting this detail lose now, the writer has kind of left a little opening, kind of a little piece of puzzle that Shahwar will stumble upon & when she will hold onto it, she will end up supporting Mannat because she will learn how Yawar was fooling her. Shahwar will also realize that when Yawar can lie to her about such a sensitive subject for years, see her suffering in misery & can make her feel like she is the culprit, then he can lie about Wajih too. I am sure for someone as submissive as Shahwar, it had to be something this big for her to be convinced to go against her husband & help Mannat. It is interesting how the writer has added these minor details & is building things up from there like first Shahwar getting to hear Wajih confess & now Yawar holding this deep dark secret in his heart.
Shayan finally warned Wajih & told him openly that even he stands against his younger brother for the crime that he has committed. Even though it was nice that Shayan told Mannat to hire a lawyer, I found it funny that Mannat was ready to fight for Nayab but didn’t even think about getting a lawyer until Shayan said so.
Overall, this episode was half hit half miss. I liked a few things & didn’t enjoy the rest. However I am glad that things have finally moved forward. I am interested to see who plays the role of Mannat’s lawyer. I know this is a super random guess but I feel Khalid Malik should play this role, he will fit it best. Anyways, any guesses? Tonight’s episode of Ranjha Ranjha Kardi covered how the relationship dynamics changed after Noori found out that Nusrat knew her background. It was difficult for Noori to comply yet she had no choice. Noori’s puzzled frame of mind, the affects the medicines had on Bhola and Sahir’s new role in this entire situation was covered convincingly. This episode laid the foundations for more important future developments. Imran Ashraf continues to impress, his performance has been faultless. Iqra Aziz makes her presence felt in every single scene even though there are times when you want to know more about what is going on in Noori’s mind.
The tables turned today when Chacha told Noori that he knew everything about her background. Nusrat used this information to stop Noori from ‘interfering’ and from asking questions, Noori didn’t have a choice and had to conform. All these scenes covering how Nusrat made sure Noori knew who was in control and Noori’s helplessness were brilliantly executed. The outcome of Bhola’s visit to the doctor was quite similar to the last visit. Noori’s reaction when she looked at his medicines clearly suggested that these were the same medicines Bhola was given previously. Bhola’s innocence once again reflected from the scene when he teased Noori before going to the hospital. This was surely not the first time that Chacha took him for an ‘unpleasant’ outing yet he was thrilled. In one of the previous episodes when Bhola was uncontrollable, Nusrat gave him medicine and pretended to be really concerned about him, he has executed his plan very intelligently by making Bhola trust him just as much as his mother does.
Tonight, Nusrat’s behavior should have made Noori question what he was hiding, why he felt so insecure and why did these medicines have this affect on Bhola. Is Noori thinking on these lines or not? I am waiting to find out. Right now, the only thing on Noori’s mind is her survival. She cannot stand to have the husband-wife relationship with Bhola but after everything Fehmida said to her in the previous episode, she knows she cannot say no to Bhola. At the same time Noori wants to continue living in this house which basically means that she is willing to pay the ‘price’ for it even though it is killing her inside! The preview of the next episode suggested just that.
Quite tactfully, Sahir let Nusrat know that he was on his side and willing to help. Even now, one can’t be sure what Sahir’s real intentions are. Is he really so greedy that he will help Nusrat give Bhola the wrong medicine or he just wants to gain Nusrat’s trust and know exactly what he has been doing all these years? The medicines he gave Nusrat were probably the ones which were prescribed in the prescription he had with him earlier therefore he did not add anything new there. Shakooran’s questions tonight and what Fehmida said about a ‘bud dua’ in one of the previous episodes suggested that there is still something we don’t know about Bhola’s background perhaps.
Noori decided to meet Sahir and the preview of the next episode suggested that she went there to share her fears and troubles with Sahir. Why did Noori choose to lean over Sahir and did not turn to Ama Janate for help and advice? Was this her way of retaliating? Noori could call Ama Janate just as easily without getting into trouble but she decided to meet Sahir. I am waiting for Ama Janate to be back in the picture since she is the only one Fehmida will ever listen to.
This episode of Ranjha Ranjha Kardi was disturbing and relatively slow-paced. I have been missing Komal and Noori’s conversations in particular. The focus right now is on Noori and her decision ultimately will determine what turn Bhola’s life takes. Sahir’s character keeps you wondering still because he is the only one whose intentions are not clear even now. Like every other episode of this drama, this one too had some brilliant performances to its credit. Waiting to find out what happens next.

Ohkay so, the writing of Fareesa Afzal & Wasiq Ali, direction of Furqan Adam & production of Moomal & Momina Duraid Productions; Meer Abru is a recent Hum TV drama that has been airing since last 4 weeks. I tuned to it because it showed up in my YouTube recommendation plus I wanted to watch something new & I actually ended up liking the way this drama was directed & how the story was unfolding. Meer Abru is in the initial stages but still, the first 4 episodes gave me enough reasons to continue watching it & also review it. There are a lot of characters in this drama & a lot of tracks which kind of make things quite happening & interesting.
So, there’s the Murad family, which owns Murad Group of Industries & the sons of two brothers Jamal & Ghazanfar are now taking care of the family business. Jamal is married to Seemi (Jia Ali) & has two sons Saim Murad (Mirza Zain Baig) & Waleed Murad (Saad Qureshi). Ghazanfar is married to Saira & they have a son Meer Murad. (Noor Hassan).
Ghazanfar & Saira have always had a troubled marriage because Ghazanfar could not accept Saira as his wife mentally & that has taken a toll on Meer because he grew up seeing his father being distant, aloof & angry & his mother being mistreated. Jamal is family oriented & believes in maintaining the family ties whereas Seemi constantly tries to convince her husband that he should part ways with his brother & get a new house for his family. Jamal pays no heed to his wife because he knows she is overly ambitious & not for any good reason. They all live together & all the cousins; Meer, Saim & Waleed are just like brothers.
On the other side we have a family of Professor Ahmed who has three daughters; Abru (Sanam Chauhdry), Sana (Rabya Kulsoom) & Haya (Srha Asghar). Abru is the eldest therefore she is the most responsible & focused one whereas the younger two are still pursuing their education in the same university where their father is a professor & are care-free & happy-go-lucky.
Abru & Meer have a very first interaction where they both end up leaving quite an impression on each other. Abru finds Meer rude & conceited whereas Meer develops interest in Abru but doesn’t really show it. Abru goes to Murad Industries to apply for the job only to find out that Meer is going to interview her. She goes back disappointed but Meer hires her as a marketing manager. Abru gets to interact with Saim but assumes that he is just an employee there but she later finds out that Saim is the part-owner of Murad Industries too.
Abru & Meer always have a personality clash because of which Abru keeps on believing that her first impression of him was right but then even though Meer doesn’t really do much to change her opinion about him, he continues to stay reserved & distant. Meer develops feelings for Abru but doesn’t say much as he continues to see the budding friendship between Saim & Abru, which further pushes him away & does not allow him go change Abru’s perspective.
Abru goes to Meer’s place to hand him some files & that’s when Waleed & his friend misbehave with Abru. Meer makes sure Waleed apologizes but then Abru thinks he staged it all to insult her. That’s also where she finds out that Saim is not just an employee but is a cousin of Meer. Abru gets a chance to interact with Saim’s family but that’s when Saim’s mother grows uncomfortable at the thought of seeing Saim being too friendly with a mere employee. Meer & Abru once again have a misunderstanding where Meer misbehaves with her. Abru thinks of resigning but seeing how she has a responsibility of her father & sisters, she drops that idea.
Waleed, being a young spoiled brat has now taken it as a challenge to get back at Abru & that’s when he finds out that both Haya & Sana are Abru’s sisters. Quite carefully Waleed traps them both & makes them believe that he is in love with them while planting a seed of doubt in both Haya & Sana’s heart against each other. Waleed is taken to be as the heart-throb of the university so Haya already likes him but Sana also starts believing him that he must be serious about whatever he is saying.
Meer Abru drama has a lot of characters & each one of them have gotten a proper introduction & coverage which also keeps the episodes engaging by offering quite a lot. Meer has really developed some insecurities & because of his father’s disrespectful attitude towards his mother, Meer also finds it hard to respect any female & continues to insult every other girl that he interacts with but later regrets what he has done. It is like he is having a constant battle within himself because he wants to rise above all of this but can not due to his personal life issues.
Meer’s mother Saira has accepted all of this as her fate but then despite what Ghazanfar puts her through, she has found peace in the love & attention she gets from the rest of the family, especially all the boys. Saira is like a mother figure to all the boys & that is why they respect her a lot. Seemi on the other hand is quite social, so much so that she often compromises on important family event & prefers her social activities. Seemi is just as absent as Saira is present for her family, that is why even Seemi’s sons seem more emotionally attached to Saira as compared to their own mother.
Saim & Meer share that kind of bond where they both can sacrifice anything for one another, this was something that was established in the initial episodes & that might be the reason why Meer has not told Saim that he has some feelings for Abru. Saim was trying to make up his mind but he & Abru have grown so comfortable with each other that he couldn’t help falling in love with her. For Saim it was a very smooth journey because he being a thorough gentleman treated Abru with respect & also because he was her friend, he was always there to help her. Considering how stern Meer was with Abru, she kind of relied a lot more on Saim because of that reason too as she felt easy & relaxed around him. This love triangle is definitely interesting & I want to see what the life has in store for them. Plus the equation that Waleed, Haya & Sana are sharing is going to get intense too & I am keen to see how Abru will deal with all of this once she will find out & will be forced to protect & save her sisters from the heartbreak.
Meer Abru has offered quite a lot so far & overall it definitely is such a drama that is worth a watch. The characters have been written with a lot of detailing, I guess it shows the teamwork of the writers her. Despite the drama having a lot of characters, each & everyone gets a proper screen time & none of them seems to be a filler. Everyone has one thing or the other happening in their lives & it is all quite interesting to see. I like quite a lot characters which is one of the biggest reasons for me to continue watching this drama. I like how the vibe & feel immediately changes when both the households are shown – the vibe in Meer’s house is very formal, though loving & friendly but still very composed & on the other hand, Abru’s household is full of zest & energy because it’s filled with girls who are young & carefree. I like how Abru has a strong hold on her younger sisters & how they also obey her. Abru has earned this respect & she really is their support system. Abru’s character in general is beautifully written where she has her inhibitions & reservations but she tries to overcome them as she knows that she has two sisters who look upto her & that she has some responsibilities too. Overall styling & outlook of all the characters is really nice & I love Abru’s professional wardrobe, they have kept it very simple, effortless yet stylish enough. All the actors are looking amazing & the sisters of Abru are perfectly styled as university students. My main reason to tune to Meer Abru was Sanam Chaudhry because I enjoy her acting & she surely has not disappointed. It is good to see Noor Hassan in a drama too after quite a while. Zain Baig, Saad Qureshi, Rabya Kulsoom & Srha Asghar, all of them have done a commendable job & I believe the credit also goes to the director for keeping things so effortless & amazing – especially the acting of all the actors. Definitely looking forward to what more Meer Abru has in store for us. Wrong No. 2 is an upcoming movie and we have already seen the success of Wrong No. Wrong No. starred Danish Taimoor and Sohai Ali Abro in lead roles and proved to be a dark horse on the box office, it performed wonderfully, however, no one was expecting that.

Everyone in the world has become familiar with the scuttle between India and Pakistan. The tension caused the banning of Pakistani artists initially and then later Pakistan also blocked content from India to air in Pakistan as a protest. During the whole scenario, many huge Bollywood stars kept mum and did not give out statements.
Amitabh Bachan was also one star who did not give any controversial statement in the situation. He was however offered a role of a Pakistani recently and he turned it down and it is not difficult to conclude that it was due to the environment in India with fast-approaching elections and a whole lot of hate. Mehwish Hayat took to Twitter and she had to say something about this. She said that this is disappointing and we should also give some thought to our love of Bollywood after this:

Mehreen Syed is a supermodel as well as the queen of the ramp. She is hands down one of the biggest names of the fashion industry. Many factors contribute to making an on-screen couple a complete success. The number one factor has to be the actors and the chemistry they share. No matter how well-written a track is, it falls flat if the actors involved do not look like they are connected to each other at some level. On-screen chemistry is undeniably the most important factor. Some actors naturally share great on-screen chemistry and when such actors share screen space, there are bound to be fireworks. Having said that, one cannot deny the importance of a well-written script. Black and white characters and run-of-the-mill love stories do not have the same impact on the viewers now because the drama watching audience has so much to choose from. Therefore, love stories which are convincing as well as enticing and characters which are intriguing play a major role in making these on-screen couples a hit. In this video we will talk about all those amazing on-screen couples of Pakistani dramas which have won the viewers over since the 90s. Tonight’s episode of Aangan covered Azhar’s release, Jamil and Alia’s track and the change in Chammi’s character. All the characters in this drama can be termed as lost souls. There is barely any happiness in anyone’s life and even when there are some happy moments, they are usually spoiled by the attitude of one or few of the characters. Azhar’s release tonight was one such moment.
Even before Azhar’s arrival, Jamil’s complete lack of interest showed that his father’s presence made absolutely no difference in his life. The second Azhar entered, his wife started sharing the problems she had been facing, Chammi made matters worse and Azhar and Alia were the only two people who actually shared a special moment in this scene. The relationship between all these characters is more bitter than it is pleasant. Azhar was never there for his family which is why his children resent him and his wife rightly blames him for not settling his priorities straight.
With the exception of Alia, all the other characters do not have a definite connection with each other. Jamil’s character has definitely grown in these two weeks but his ‘lust’ for Alia remains the same. The hugging scene made me wonder why HUM’s censorship policy is so lenient when it comes to this drama! This scene could easily have been avoided. Chammi is another character which is following Alia’s footsteps. While she waited for Manzoor and thinks he loves her, she also laughed mockingly when Alia told her that she loved her. So Chammi too has lost her faith in love after Jamil ‘bhaiya’ betrayed her. Chammi has never been loved by anyone at all therefore she has stopped trying to make people fall in love with her whether it is Alia, Najma, Jamil or Baray Chacha – she just couldn’t care less. That is why she is constantly seen doing things to provoke others. It is however really strange that Jamil and Chammi didn’t have a single scene together in this episode either.
Alia once again was reminded of how she should not be falling in love every time she had those feelings for Jamil. Jamil’s scene with his mother after Shakeel ran away also suggested that he had changed. Israr’s scenes are beyond repetitive since he is constantly shown asking for food while Bua tells him off. There is nothing new about these interactions which shows the lack of creativity. There are times when you feel like there are too many characters in this drama and not all of them add something tangible to the story. Tonight Israr got a little more screen time and this time his situation was compared to that of Azhar and Mazhar – all of them are lost souls but Israr definitely has a life way worse than both of them. Azhar’s failure as a family head reflects in every single aspect of his family life. Azhar’s wife finally spoke up today and his reaction was a lot like that of his father’s!! When confronted Muzzafar too never had much to say to his wife. You understand how Jamil’s mother has suffered for all these years but you can’t help but blame her for being such a door mat.
For the past few weeks every time Chammi tells Alia off, she is shocked that Chammi doesn’t have more faith in her. Alia always reacts as if Chammi has expressed her true feelings for the first time, even though that is most certainly not the case. Alia and Chammi’s scene together in which Chammi asks Alia for the duppata was cute – it would have been so much better if these two really were friends.
Ahad Raza Mir, Mawra Hocane and Sajal Aly could actually make an interesting trio because their on screen chemistry is superb. Their situations in this drama however are such that there can be no winners in this love triangle. This drama is overcrowded with characters and some of these characters don’t add much to the story. Bua is definitely getting way more screen time than she should have been given. The repetition and the over emphasis on makeovers continues with every passing week but for the first time I am actually waiting to see what turn this love triangle takes.

Sham Idrees and Froggy are two YouTubers with a huge fan following. They have made a name for themselves in the media with their Vlogs and the constant prank videos they post. They got married recently and it was a long way as Froggy initially said no to Sham’s proposal.

A few months back, there were a lot of speculations about Feroze Khan and his wife Alizey expecting. The news was neither confirmed nor refuted by the couple. Some pictures from a wedding they attended caused the stir and the fans were dying to know about it.
Feroze Khan has finally confirmed the news in a recent interview. He said that getting married has changed his life for the best and he has a lot more self-control now. Feroze’s whole family is extremely happy with the good news.

Ohkay so, this episode covered the change of dynamics between Gaiti & Badar where Gaiti couldn’t help but soften her heart for her husband as well as his family. I guess this decision of airing double episodes of Do Bol twice a week is a good one because it is showing the progress as well as has upped the pace of the drama too.
Badar was pushing himself to the limit, he was stretching himself thin to make sure Gaiti gets the fraction of a relief that she was used to before her marriage to him. Badar knew that Gaiti’s world turned upside down that is why he feels it is his responsibility to bring some comfort her way. Arranging an air-condition for Gaiti without even worrying about what his mother would say showed that for Badar, Gaiti was his priority & while he was fulfilling all of his duties as a son, he wanted to be a dutiful husband too.
Gaiti couldn’t help but feel the love Badar had for her because she could see how he was taking pressures from everywhere but still not allowing it to stop him from doing whatever he wanted to, for Gaiti. Jamshed turned out exactly how I imagined & what he did was totally that I could see coming. Jamshed’s growing interest in Gaiti is unconvincing, considering that he just had a brief interaction with her & then immediately started forcing himself in her life. Jamshed knows that Rania is blind to his faults & can be manipulated easily, that is why he exploits her & does what he want because Rania will never question him. It was interesting to see that for a split second despite despising Gaiti, Rania did think about whatever she said about Jamshed. I hope before getting married to him, Rania realizes that he is a selfish & conceited person who will never be able to make her happy.
Neelam requested Iqbal to allow Gaiti to attend her wedding. Nafeesa & Nasreen were happy that Iqbal did allow but Firdous, Fareeha & Zafar were not. Firdous knows her son too well, that is why she always protects him & prevents him from getting into trouble especially in the matters where Iqbal is involved. Firdous doesn’t want Badar to get back in touch with Iqbal because despite not accepting it, it is a fact that Gaiti is entitled to Iqbal’s property & business & Badar is married to her. Iqbal has put up a facade where he does not pay heed to anything related to Gaiti but deep inside, his heart has actually melted & he is keen to know if Gaiti is doing well or not. Smiling at the news of Gaiti’s success in her exams showed that Iqbal has now started missing Gaiti but he is too egoistic to accept & admit that.
Gaiti started showing signs of care & affection for Badar which was the best part of this episode of Do Bol. Gaiti has tried really hard not to allow anything that Badar does sway her heart, but she couldn’t help it. Gaiti started off with smallest gestures but seeing how it uplifted Badar’s mood made her realize that this was all that he expected from her in return to the amount of love he showers on her. Jamshed has made it his mission to bring misery on Badar & Gaiti which again seems to be a forced situation & there’s nothing actually new or exciting about it.
Overall, these two episodes of Do Bol took the story forward a great deal. It is a feel good & sweet drama which may not have something totally new or super dramatic to offer but whatever has unraveled so far is pleasant & make it a good watch. However, I don’t really understand the need for the editor to show misleading promos. Last week they showed Jahan Ara showing up at Gaiti’s doorstep plus a scene from Neelam’s wedding too but all of that didn’t happen in this week’s 4 episodes combined. Anyways, the preview of the next episode did suggest that Gaiti might leave to be with her mother, let’s see how Badar will bring her back. Hira Mani & Affan Waheed are doing wonders & their chemistry is subtle but very nice. Please share your thoughts about this episode of Do Bol.
