The filmmaker director and producer duo, Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza recently announced two films for the next year i.e. Quaid E Azam Zindabad with Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan and Fatman with Ahmed Ali Butt in the lead.

Although speculations were ripe, it was only yesterday that Ahmed Ali Butt made his official announcement for playing the lead in Fatman.

Taking to his Instagram, Ahmed Ali Butt wrote, “AlhumdulilAllah it’s official. My next film and my first as a lead with these crazy people Nabeel Qureshi Fizza Ali Meerza Filmwala Pictures FATMAN. Looking forward to make a great film with these great creative filmmakers and hope you’ll all love it as much as I love the script… Inshallah see you next year.”

Fatman will address the issue of bodyshaming in the society. According to Something Haute, Ahmed Ali Butt stated that the script is what attracted him most about the film.

“We may think of superheroes as over macho men solving world problems with their brute force but Fatman will reveal how there’s a superhero in all of us. Appearances can be deceiving and men and women should not be judged, let alone bullied, because of their looks,” Nabeel Qureshi had earlier shared with Something Haute.

According to news, Fatman will go on the floors once shoot for Quaid E Azam Zindabad is complete. The film will be scheduled to release in the last quarter of 2020.

Gentleman is the current drama airing on Green Entertainment. The drama has the biggest star cast including Humayun Saeed, Adnan Siddiqui, Yumna Zaidi, Sohai Ali Abro, Zahid Ahmed, Saqib Sameer and Ahmed Ali Butt among others. Zahid Ahmed is doing a great job as Faris while Humayun plays Munna Iqbal. The duo is clashing on the screen while Ahmed Ali Butt is playing Dilbar, the cheeky right hand of Munna Iqbal.

Ahmed Ali Butt spoke to Next Level Backstage and shared his views on the characters and story of the show. He also talked about who he thinks is the real life Gentleman among Humayun Saeed and Zahid Ahmed. He voted for Zahid Ahmed as the Gentleman in real life.

Ahmed said that the way Zahid speaks, his deep voice, his style of speaking as well as the personality and aura he exudes makes him the real life Gentleman. He also said Zahid takes the most time while he is getting ready as Faris while he was being cheeky about his co-actor.

Ahmed Ali Butt has made quite a name for himself. He came into the industry with Jutt and Bond alongside best friend Fawad Khan. Ahmed is also a rapper and gained fame with his band Entity Paradigm. The band was a runner-up in Pepsi Battle of The Bands Season 1. He has now completely transitioned himself into an actor and a host. He has done many successful films like Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 and Punjab Nahin Jaongi. He is currently shooting for Asim Raza’s upcoming film Paray Hut Love.

Marriages in Pakistan have their own problems like any other country in the world and meddling in laws or comparisons between in laws and new family are very common reasons that create rift between couples. We see many young couples struggling and fighting as soon as they get married and men are generally seen complaining about their wives not being as good as their mothers in household chores. This creates a toxic environment for newly weds and Ahmed Ali Butt and his wife Fatima Khan had some advice for the young couples.

Talking to a couple where wife shared that her husband keeps comparing the food she cooks with his mother’s food, Fatima Khan said that comparison in any relationship is simply toxic. Even comparing your own kids is a wrong practice and this will never work.

Fatima also said that even if you want to compare your wife’s talent to your mom’s then compare it to when your mother got married in the beginning.
