Saima Akram Chaudhry is a remarkable Pakistani novelist, drama writer, and screenwriter. She is widely known for her creative storytelling in monthly Urdu digests. In recent years, she gained recognition for her popular Ramzan dramas such as Suno Chanda, Hum Tum, Ishq Jalebi, Chaudhary and Sons, and others. This Ramzan, she is coming up with a new drama series, Dekh Zara Pyar Se. Her currently airing drama, Neeli Kothi, on Hum TV has been receiving low viewership and TRPs.

Recently, Saima Akram Chaudhry shared a post on her Facebook page in which she revealed the reason behind her flop dramas like Chaudhary and Sons, Neeli Kothi and Chaand Tara.

In a post on her Facebook account, Saima Akram Chaudhry wrote, “Apart from Fairy Tale, the dramas that I wrote from heart not only grabbed a huge success but also reached people’s hearts. When producers used to tell me to write freely and write from the heart, I got huge praise, when the producers and directors didn’t restrict my pen, didnt create issues over production costs, and no casting head confined my wishes within boundaries. I had delivered great work. When a writer’s pen becomes restricted due to producers and production cost concerns, when everything that comes out of a pen is subjected to collective opinions, and when a director or actor tries to run a script according to their personal likes or dislikes, then only a serial is made that sometimes works but often fails. All those dramas that I wrote with all my heart — and now my pen has been confined within boundaries. She mentioned Suno Chanda, Hum Tum, Chupke Chupke and Ishq Jalebi as her best dramas till date. She also mentioned Fairy Tale as a successful Ramzan venture, which was written by Sarah Majeed. It is pertinent to mention that Saima Akram Chaudhary’s comeback project Neeli Kothi miserably flopped. Tamasha is a Big Brother like reality show which airs daily on Ary Digital, the show is incredible and public is appreciating it as well. The second week of the show has been started along with a captaincy of the new captain Nauman.

The day 8th at the Tamasha house started with a lot of fights between the contestants. On the breakfast table, Humaira & Umer fought right in the beginning of the episode, after that Maira and Saeeda also indulged in to a quarrel.

Junaid Jamshed was a renowned Pakistani celebrity who rose to fame through his pop music. Later, he left music and continued his journey as a naat khuwan and Islamic preacher. He was also a very successful businessman. Junaid Jamshed passed away in a tragic plane crash in December 2016, leaving behind his widow, three sons — Taimoor, Babar, and Saifullah — and a daughter.

When asked about hearing the news of Junaid Jamshed’s plane crash, Saifullah shared, “For the last six to eight months, our father had been telling our mother, ‘Ayesha, you’ll be upset, but I want shahadat (martyrdom).’ It was his constant prayer for months, and it seems Allah granted him what he wished for. We were completely unaware of what had happened at first. People began visiting us, and it didn’t even feel real because we hadn’t seen him ill — he was happy and normal. Later, I told him it had been a cow shed, and he really enjoyed it. Atif is a very down-to-earth and friendly person.”

I can’t say anything about the juniors but yes we do guide them. Ali Hassan and Danish Nawaz are working with Hum and they all have their say. I have never been asked to stretch a play by the makers. Once, I was requested to extend Tan Mann Neel-o-Neel for just one episode because there was a gap coming which needed to be filled so Memoona asked me to extend, and even that became a task for me because it was difficult for me to cut and divide the 70 minutes episode.” Here is the link to the video:

Saif shared a painful experience saying that earlier this year his Lahooti Melo team gathered where one of the volunteers at the first ever event opened up about her Me Too experience. She had suffered at the hands of one of the guests invited to the event in 2016. She was a budding artist and after knowing that, the predator, who happens to be a known media person, tracked her down on social media. He said that he won her trust and made her feel comfortable. It was then he forced him on her one day which shook her to the core. She tried to commit suicide but survived.

He said “I saw women with the courage to share their stories, who were being very brave, and the backlash [they would get]. Also, men like this media person who [sensing that their time might be up] would preemptively generate a narrative [around themselves], so that if they are accused, they can get away with it.” He is also planning to dedicate this year’s Lahooti Melo to the Me Too movement.

He further added, “They hadn’t seen me anywhere before. I sent them a video, which they approved, and then they interviewed me. I told them I am from Peshawar, give me a chance, and I will try to contribute to the show. After that, I was contacted. It was a professional environment and a great place.”

Saif Ali Khan’s controversial statements after his film Phantom was banned in Pakistan has aroused a lot of negative comments about him from people in Pakistan. Recently while talking to NDTV Saif Ali Khan said, “I don’t know if I should say this but I was upset with the action in Pakistan and how upset they’re getting and I seem to have become the face of ‘anti-Pakistan feeling’.”

He also said that he has always wanted Pakistan and India to have good ties. “This, I’m a little concerned about. Because my politics is the last thing that should become the question and for sure not against the people of Pakistan, I have absolutely nothing, except goodwill and hope that we manage to fix our problems,” said the actor.

Kabir Khan, who directed Phantom was also present for the interview in which he said, “It’s (Phantom) a mission film quite simply. If you take the India and Pakistan element out of it – I didn’t want to say this during the promotion – but it’s actually a very simplistic mission film. The political element has given it some controversial edge.”

It appears to be that Saif Ali Khan has realized that his statements were insensitive and he wants to mend fences.

Saif Ali Khan is an emerging media star, software engineer, and amateur singer who recently rose to fame after appearing on ARY Digital’s reality show Tamasha. He gained popularity soon after his introduction in the first episode of Tamasha 4. Saif Ali Khan faced tough competition in the Tamasha house and eventually emerged as the winner. He received immense praise and a significant social media following.

Saif Ali Khan recently gave an interview to Sunday Times, where he opened up about the tough days he spent in the Tamasha house. He also briefly talked about his fight with his best friend, Kanwal.

Talking about his Tamasha days, he said, “I didn’t expect that I would gain so much popularity through it. If people think that we knew what was happening outside the house, it’s not true — we had no idea. We didn’t know the time; we were getting very little food. I lost 9 kg, which means we were given a very small quantity of food. I had no idea what was happening in the world. In the house, I made friends, and with those who weren’t becoming friends, I took a stand against them. We fought because we were frustrated. After spending 60 days there, a point came where conflicts happened. There was also bullying in the house.”

Talking about his fight with Kanwal, he said, “I didn’t want to fight. I’m genuinely a friendly person with my friends — I don’t argue with them. I had to maintain strictness in the house, which led to the conflict, but everything is fine now. We fought as part of the game; there are no personal issues. Everything is fine between all the contestants now.”

Saif Ali Khan became a hit when he appeared in Tamasha Season 4. He came to be known as Dilon ka Wazeer and he has since been appearing in several projects like Khaffa and Aap Ki Izzat. His stint as Behram in Aap Ki Izzat has made him a household name.

Saif Ali Khan was just married for four months when he appeared in Tamasha. His career took off and he is often travelling for shooting. He was a guest on Maliha Rehman’s show and spoke about his wife’s reaction to his showbiz career, fandom and growing stardom.

Saif Ali Khan said that it was a bit of a learning curve for his wife as well but she is well adjusted to their new wife now. She was a bit annoyed by how busy he was but she is also happy about his success. He also added that people keep spreading baseless rumours about his marriage. His family is private and he therefore never posts his wife’s pictures and she is not interested in that either. He also knows that he can get likes by posting his family but he is more focused on his work.

​Nowadays, he has also been going viral for his unique dynamic with one of the top Tamasha contestants, Laila Ji. Every day, Laila greets him, praises his attire and persona, and persistently reminds him to give sadqah to ward off the evil eye (nazar), warning him that his great appearance makes him vulnerable to it. This banter has been circulating on social media for almost two months, as Laila continues to express her concern for Badshah.

​Following these viral clips, former Tamasha contestants—including Saif Ali Khan, Junaid Niazi, and Yaseen Ali—visited Adnan Siddiqui to ward off the evil eye using traditional household remedies (desi totkas). They entered the Tamasha house premises and headed straight to the Badshah Salamat room, where he was resting.
