Munazzah Arif is a talented actress of Pakistani drama industry who started her career in 2017 from drama serial “Dar si Jati Hai Sila”. She did a wonderful job in her drama.

Recently, the “Dar si Jati Hai Sila” famed actress Munazzah Arif opened up about the nonpayment of her old work which she did in 2019. She posted, “The play Uraan was aired on Aplus in 2019 and my work has not been paid till date”

I knew that Sarmad Khoosat was going to invite Nimra Bucha because they have worked together in several projects and are good friends. Sarmad called Nimra Bucha his ‘humzaad’ and spoke highly of her as an actress and as a person.

I enjoyed this episode because Nimra was very honest – I couldn’t stifle a laugh when she called the ‘agar aap insaan na hote aur khane peene ki cheez hote tou kia hote’ question stupid (and I agree!) – and also because the two are very good friends so it definitely felt like a nice, casual chit chat between two friends.

I like how in this episode, both Sarmad and Nimra talked about taking steps to save the natural environment. She explained how she and her husband recycle things instead of throwing them away.

Today, Sarmad prepared Kharay Masala Ka Qeema, Mango Salsa and Falsay Ka Juice. I think in a show that is hardly 20 minutes long, making three things was not a very good idea. However, the 47th Nigar Awards have been postponed. Ever since the organizers announced the comeback of the award ceremony, Nigar is making news for all the wrong reasons.

First, there was a controversy surrounding the nominations and later another controversy emerged related to the contract issues. Considering these events and in a bid to avoid further issues, the award ceremony has been pushed ahead. Earlier scheduled to take place on March 16, the event will now be rescheduled at a later date (late March or early April).

“Due to unforeseen circumstances and the damage caused because of some rumours against us, we’ve decided to delay it for a few days,” a source close to Nigar Awards told Instep. “It won’t be a good idea to go on with the proceedings amidst so many issues that have been coming our way. Our sponsors and media partners have gotten a bit shaky after what has happened. So it’s better to continue once everything settles down. We’re working on it and the ceremony will be much bigger and better this time.”

The most credible and prestigious ‘Nigar Film Awards’ are finally making a comeback after a whole lot 12 years. The return of the awards was announced yesterday in a press conference.

Many famous artists like Amina Sheikh, Mohib Mirza, Sahir Lodhi, Asim Raza, Adnan Shah, Mustafa Qureshi, film star Saud and Humayun Saeed were present at the conference yesterday. It was also revealed that the show will be hosted by Amina Sheikh and Mohib Mirza, who are undoubtedly very talented. Aslam Ilyas Rasheedi, son of late Ilyas Rasheedi who is instituting the awards revealed that the awards will have technical categories unlike last time, and will also acknowledge the young talent which is often ignored.

Nigar Awards were initiated in 1958 by Ilyas Chaudhry and were continued by his son Aslam Ilyas after his demise in 1997. The awards were discontinued in 2002 due to the less number of films produced each year. The awards are back to recognise quality films and performances once again, 47th Nigar Film Awards will be held on March 16, 2017

Nigar Awards, the oldest prestigious awards in Pakistan, are back after a 12-year hiatus. The awards are already making headlines around the country, but not for good reasons. First it was the nominations which received serious backlash from the audiences and now the latest controversy is that the organisers of Nigar Awards have been sued by proprietor of Lush, Osama Qazi on the pretext of violation of contract and betrayal.

According to recent reports, court has issued a stay order to stop the proceedings of Nigar Awards until some issues are resolved. Usama Qazi, has filed an application with the High Court against the Chairman of Nigar Awards, for breaking a ten-year contract with him and joining hands with another party for the ceremony.

However, according to the sources of Instep, it is not true and the contract with the businessman was terminated on December 4, 2016.

“The court hasn’t issued any stay order for the Nigar Awards and it’s just a way of pulling us down,” the source told Instep. “Those who were trying to bring the awards back for the last 2 years but didn’t succeed are doing it since we managed to do what they couldn’t. They are portraying it in such a way so that it causes damage to us; the court hasn’t asked us to delay it.”

The award ceremony is expected to be held on March 16, 2017. However, the source explained that due to the damage caused by rumors against Nigar Awards, there is a possibility that the ceremony maybe postponed. Let’s wait for an official statement from the organizers.

Nigah Jee is a contestant on ARY Digital’s new reality TV Show, Tamasha and he is sharing screen with many other artists from the industry. The upcoming actress Aaman Malick is also a part of Tamasha. While the chores of Tamasha Ghar were discussed, Aamna had asked Nigah Jee to wash his dishes in the kitchen. Nigah Jee found her style to be rude but he did not react at that moment.

Nigah Jee later said while he sat with Nouman Masood that even super stars like Mahira Khan do not speak to him rudely. Actors like Humayun Saeed, Fahad Mustafa respect him immensely and newcomers like Aamna ae nothing but he did not want to be rude so he did not answer her then.

Lately we have been seeing a lot of buzz related to famous host Nida Yasir whose old video went viral in which she wrongly interpreted Formula 1 car. Recently, one of the two guests, who were invited in the show, has spoken up about the incident.

The student’s name is Mohamad Shariq Waqar who said that he is one of the student who manufactured Formula 1 electric cars along with his team. He said that it was an unfortunate thing that Nida Yasir came into the show without homework because such shows require a certain research and home work. He also also said to fans that he has been following the whole viral scenario related to their interview and enjoying the comic memes. He said that all the satire that is done in good will is always loved and appreciated but when someone uses it in humiliating way, then it is condemnable.

He further said that he strongly condemn Indian channels and twitter users for using it in humiliating way. He said that Public should promote them ( F1 Team ) and talk about their achievements so that the world get to know about the real talent of Pakistan.
