These shows have gained this massive popularity thanks to the advent of social media. From Ishq Murshid on Hum TV to Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum on ARY and Kaffara on Geo, these all got millions of views per episode for their respective channels as an example.
YouTube is a lucrative platform for making money and these channels also upload all their content on the social media platform. Momina Mustehsan is a 23-year-old New York-based, Pakistani song writer and singer. She was co-writer and co-singer to Farhan Saeed’s very popular ‘Pee Jaun’ but shot to relative fame when she sang playback for the band Soch in the Bollywood film Ek Villian, on a song called ‘Awaari’. In addition, her rendition of the song Afreen kept everyone hooked and it wasn’t just because of the Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was in the duet. She has gained so much fame that now there is hardly anyone who hasn’t heard the voice of Momina Mustehsan and fallen in love with it.
Recently,she starred in L’Oréal’s TVC and though her hair looks great, we still are a little disappointed. As above started, there is no doubt that she is an amazing singer with one of the melodious voices of her time, but she isn’t that good when it comes to acting.
Her acting in the TVC seems very mechanical and expressionless. But, I believe that she can improve. We’ve watched our cricket players become excellent models and actors in the past years and acting and cricket seem further from acting and singing!

Momina Mustehsan uses her platform to talk about depression and anxiety. She previously posted a video where she shared her experience and the way she dealt with depression. Momina was again feeling low. She shared a message to all those people who can relate to her and thanked her loved ones who helped her go through the phase:

People are unhappy with the latest rendition of Ko Ko Korina by Momina Mustehsan and Ahad Raza Mir. They are expressing their opinions about the song all over the social media. Many celebrities also came out with their opinions on the song. Among these was our Human Rights Minister, Shireen Mazari. She was disappointed with the remake and called the attempt a massacre of the original classic. This is what she tweeted:

Yesterday we reported that the cast of Teefa in trouble has completed the Lahore spell of the shooting and is now heading to Europe to wrap up the film. Surprisingly, last night, Ali Zafar shared a picture of Momina Mustehsan on Instagram and raised dollops of speculations!
What are they up to? Does this mean Momina will be making her big screen debut soon?
Teefa in Trouble is an action-comedy movie, starring Ali Zafar and Maya Ali in the lead roles. The leads of the film gave a sneak peak of their chemistry at the Lux Style Awards.
