Nadia Hussain, a distinguished Pakistani actress, has recently made headlines after print media reported on her husband’s arrest. According to the details, police arrested her husband Atif Khan who was involved in a Bank fraud.

FIA’s Corporate Crime Circle raided actress Nadia Hussain’s house and arrested her husband, Atif Khan, who was later taken to customs court. The judges also approved his four-day physical remand. According to FIA’s claim, Atif Khan is involved in a Rs. 700 million fraud with a private bank. He allegedly used Rs. 80 million from company funds for personal trading.

FIA started investigating after the bank’s Board of Directors filed a complaint. They found that Atif misused Company funds and illegally acquired Rs. 654 million from a third party. This money was later paid back using company funds with high interest. Due to his involvement in financial fraud of Rs. 540 million, he was presented in court, and his remand was extended for four days.

Nadia Hussain has revealed her diet plan in Good morning Pakistan when Nida curiously asked her about her unbelievable fitness she replied to that and said , “I eat normal food in morning I must eat fruits especially grapefruit and I take milk with banana, after that I do exercise basically my day starts with one or two bananas along with a glass of milk then I go for walk or exercise after that I eat grapefruit at 11 am and when I feel hunger pangs during lunchtime I take nuts mostly almonds and walnuts. Then I take a normal dinner but when I have to lose weight I reduce the amount of flatbread (roti) and then I add salad to it because you need the full amount of fiber to fulfill your stomach and I don’t eat rice also I don’t take sugar. Do eat a lot of vegetables because it will hydrate you as well, I do eat biryani too often because I cover it through exercise later on. I actually do a lot of work out”.

Nadia also said that ,”You have to do the gym along with a healthy diet and don’t starve yourself rather take a healthy diet. Once or twice a week, I take sweets as cheat otherwise I don’t intake sweets and deserts”.

Nadia Hussain was a guest at PTV’s Ramadan transmission hosted by Ahsan Khan and she shared some insights how her kids are learning Quran and not just reading it. She said her older two kids have already completed the recitation of whole Quran and she urges her kids to learn Quran with translation, be it in English as they are more comfortable in that language medium. She also revealed that she urges her kids to listen to a para everyday with translation.

Nadia Hussain spoke about how people in power, generally men, ask for favours from young people who want to get work. She said that after she was already an established star, she was once asked to host an event and they wanted her to do a “special dinner”. She was very straight forward while she rejected the offer and did not go to work. She has always been very clear about her boundaries.

She also spoke about how people have unrealistic demands from celebrity owned brands. She shared an example that there was a time that if there is no gas supply and the water heaters are not working. In such a case when an electric heater is not available, they will have to wash the client’s hair with cold water but the client will not understand this and say negative things about the salon. She added that the same client will be okay with this treatment in some other salon.

Talking about fitness and looking good in general , she said, “I never leave exercise, Yes, I am diet conscious. I try to control portions when I need to reduce weight, I eat in portions which is really important”

She further said, ” And about skin care I say to my clients that daily care is essential ”

She justified it with the example of car that people keep clean their cars and bikes daily, they clean it with cloth,they get them fixed monthly that’s why they look good. She said that if they will stop cleaning their cars, the cars will look dirty, like wise if they wont cleanse their faces,they will get dry, ugly and rough. So all the ladies and men have to cleanse their faces daily without a doubt.

While discussing the details of her role in this show, Nadia told that,”It was something different, that’s why I accepted to act in it. In this play, the girl belongs to a low-income neighbourhood, I am playing a girl from that background. She is seen as a flirtatious kind, who is making things work for her much-older husband and herself; I myself wanted to give it a shot and do it and that’s what I have done.”

She further stated, “This was a very challenging role for me. The production house asked me to bring my own collection of saris, but I didn’t have those kinds of  gaudy saris and eventually they had to provide me with them. The role itself is very loud, my make-up is loud, it is not polished; it has been done very roughly. I had to eat paan to a great extent. Paan, was something I hadn’t envisaged it in my dreams that I would be eating so much, but I did. Can you imagine? That too, with chaaliyah. ”

She said that if masses will like her role in the drama than she is ready to experiment with more different and interesting roles.
