Mahira Khan is attending a lot of Morning Shows nowadays to promote her upcoming film Ho Mann Jahan. She was invited as a guest in Good Morning Pakistan in which she shared details about the shooting of the very famous song Shakar Wandan and the film in general.

Mahira Khan also talked about how she felt after working in India. Nida Yasir said that most Pakistani actors who work in India become arrogant. How did Mahira feel after working in India? She said,

“How can I be arrogant or proud of myself. I am proud of my country, very proud because whatever fame or respect I have today is there because I worked in Pakistani dramas and films. People recognize me because of the work I did in my country.”

Mahira Khan also talked about the threats she and Fawad Khan got from Indian extremist party Shiv Sena. Mahira Khan said,

“I have always stayed away from controversies. I have never resorted to controversial things to get fame because that would only create problems for me.”

Mahira Khan also shared that Sarmad Khoosat has this cute nickname for her which is “Gangu”. Mahira Khan is also known as “Mazdoor Khan” on sets because of her down-to-earth nature.

Talking about the shooting of the song Shakar Wandan. Mahira Khan said she had a fall and got injured a day before the shooting. She said,

“I rehearsed a lot for Shakar Wandan song and I was very sure that I was going to nail it but then you go to the sets and you fall on the second day of the shoot. Thank God I could come back on the set. The director said we will simmer the steps down. How could that be possible! It was Mehndi song, how could we simmer it down?”

Mahira Khan and all the others gave their best to this song. Even Shehryar Munawar fell while shooting for this song. Famous actress Nimra Bucha who is also a part of the film said Ho Mann Jahan is,

“The Rolls Royce of production!”

Mahira Khan, who is now known to be one of the most versatile actresses of Pakistan, gained popularity after playing the character of Khirad in drama serial Humsafar. “I’m working on a film directed by Shoaib Mansoor with an all new cast. After that I’m working on a really light comedy written by Vasay Chaudhry. I have also signed on a film with Azaan Sami Khan, so I’m going to be doing a lot of cool stuff.”

she also added that;

“I’d also like to produce and direct myself very soon. I just don’t know if I’d be able to handle actor egos. I wouldn’t make a film that’s too serious. I like commercial films, something to do with youth. Romantic comedies are my favorite.”

So the good news for all the Mahira Khan fans is that, they’ll see her in her up coming projects very soon.

Mahira Khan’s character in her upcoming Pakistani film is named “Manizeh”. Mahira has been invited to a lot of Morning Shows but she has never talked about her character in the film till now. Today Mahira Khan was invited to “Satrangi” in which she talked about her character in “Ho Mann Jahan” and what was the response of the fans when the team went to different colleges and universities to promote their film.

“Forget about my fans, boys are much more contained. Sheheryar and Adeel’s female fans are the ones who make all the noise and grab them in a way that sometimes I feel they will rip their shirts off. We let girls get away with a lot of things so they do many things which boys cannot dream of doing.”

Sonya Jahan has also joined the “Ho Mann Jahan” team in promoting the film. She was also there to talk about the film and her experience in the Morning Show.

There’s been a lot of buzz about Mahira Khan’s Bollywood debut alongside the King of all Khans, Shah Rukh Khan, but Mahira herself doesn’t talk much about the much anticipated ‘‘Raees”.

However, at the Vogue Beauty Awards, Mahira shared a bit about how she is feeling now that the release date is not too far. “It’s my dream come true to work with Shah Rukh and also I am very excited about Raees. But more than this, I am nervous too. It feels like I am under pressure to show my acting skills.”

She also shared a memorable moment shared with SRK. “The first scene, I thought I would be doing it smoothly, but as he (Shah Rukh) came in front of me, I forgot my lines. I will always remember that
incident.”

Mahira understands that being a Pakistani actress, she has a great deal of responsibility on her shoulders. “Being artists (from Pakistan), we have been trying to represent our country. I hope I can do a good job, because I feel only that country develops which gives respect to its
artists.”

When asked about the possibility of working with Fawad Khan again, “I know people loved our chemistry, but we both are busy with our projects. Therefore, it’s going to be tough.”

So, last year Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar fell prey to a major controversy when during a live interview he verbally abused Marvi Sarmad and talked ill about her on live television. In a recent show “Ghabrana Mana Hai” host Vasay Chaudhry read out the tweets of Mahira Khan. The first one in which she commented on Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar’s act and the second one was a follow-up and had some contradictions with the first one.

Talking about two of her contradicting tweets Mahira said: “The first tweet obviously there was very much anger and it was instinctive. But the second tweet was probably after I went through what people were saying. This is the biggest problem that if someone is abusing we feel like abusing in return. That’s why it is said that it is imperative that if we are talking about feminist rights and rights for women and equality because we have to talk about a very important subject. And it was a very big thing for me to say what I did about Khail Saab because I respect him as a writer I have done one of his beautiful plays and again I am separating the artist from the person. But can we do that, that’s the question, it’s a difficult call. And you know what happened when I tweeted, two sides were completely against me and I was like dude no one has the guts to even do this. And I did it because I truly believe that the kind of things he said wasn’t right.”

A talented filmmaker Sarmad Khoosat is receiving threatening phone calls and messages to stop the release of his upcoming film Zindagi Tamasha. Earlier, he wrote a letter to higher authorities to take action against the unknown groups.

Kaabil director, Sanjay Gupta stated how Rakesh Roshan had to take extra measures to ensure that the film wasn’t shared illegally. He said,

“Rakesh Ji endured torture and agony. With help from private companies hired to monitor piracy, he had taken over 3,400 websites where the film was illegally available within the first three days of its release.”

Jolly LLB 2’s Subhash Kapoor also explained,

“Whether it is the government or the producers’ bodies that need to act, they’re not doing enough. We need comprehensive policy introduced by the government. They don’t understand the seriousness of the situation, and how it’s harming the industry.”

Mahira was recently spotted attending director Abhishek Kapoor’s wedding in Mumbai. She reached the event along with another Pakistani sensation in India Ali Zafar.

In the pictures Mahira is making an effort to hide from the cameras but the pictures very clearly show that it is Mahira and no one else.

So things got awkward on Kux Style Awards 2018. Mahira Khan came on stage to receive her award from Javed Sheikh and Mawra Hocane. Yesterday the news broke the internet that superstar Mahira Khan is smitten in love with Salim Karim.

The big news revealed during the live web talk of designer HSY and Mahira Khan.

She also revealed that she considers Salim Karim as a reward from Allah of any of her good deed.

Mahira Khan also unveiled her wedding plans in the same show as well. Seems like a big wedding is in the pipe line.

“Marriages are beautiful and I think weddings are even more fun” said Mahira.

In 2007 Mahira Khan got married to Ali Askari, together they have an adorable son Azlan. In 2015 the couple parted their ways with mutual apprehensions. Since then Mahira is raising her son as a single parent.

Mahira Khan, UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador for Pakistan and an accomplished actress plus activist for various different causes, condemned the attack on PIC Hospital in Lahore by lawyers on Wednesday. The actress, who has also been vocal about a number of unpleasant incidents in the past, recently took to her Twitter to condemn what had transpired at the hospital and the number of causalities it had resulted in.

At least three patients were reported dead and more than 25 doctors injured when protesting lawyers broke into the emergency ward of Punjab Institute of Cardiology in Lahore. The chaos forced people out of the hospital and doctors alongside their paramedic staff was locked inside rooms and beaten, being made to leave patients, even critical, unattended.

She revealed that her parents were two very different individuals. They had very different ideas about life and this obviously led to many clashes. This, however, did not dim the light of her childhood. She and her brother Hissan Khan were growing up together and whenever there was something difficult, they would huddle together. The duo has been each other’s support throughout.

Mahira Khan called her childhood dysfunctional. She added that she hates talking about this because she is also sharing problems of other people. But she can now say that her parents’ were diametrically apart and their marriage was not happy. This is what she shared:

Mahira Khan is not only beautiful but also emotionally intelligent. When Miss Khan spoke at TEDx Lahore Women, she revealed that she has also been victim of cyber- bullying several times. She shared that she had been through very difficult times when haters posted offensive comments about her on social media.She took the opportunity of finally sharing her story at TEDx Lahore Women.

Mahira said, “I got trolled and trolled bad, every day I would open up my social media accounts and read something which would upset me”

“But one day I had a panic attack, I thought I would die, I couldn’t breathe”

She shared it was then I tried to get stronger and also realized that how negatively cyber- bullying is affecting her.

“What I realised was that I was looking at myself through the eyes of a troll. My face through the eyes of a troll. My choices through the eyes of a troll. My life through the eyes of one”

Soon she realized that she needs to block all the negativity as it was all a lie.

” And let me tell you one thing, it wasn’t pretty. But what it definitely wasn’t is that it wasn’t -real, it wasn’t the truth”

She also shared that how she was bullied at school and therefore how necessary it is to teach children to be compassionate towards other.

It is good to see that how these famous celebs. share their personal stories and allow the audience to learn from them. Recently Mahira have faced many negative comments on Instagram and twitter due to Indo- Pak controversy but she gave them excellent replies which were enough to make them quite.

If someone said Mahira Khan is the queen of Pakistani Entertainment Industry, I wouldn’t disagree with them because she has reached that stage. Everyone knows who she is, respects her work and accepts that she is a real gem of Showbiz.

Any news surrounding the Humsafar actress spreads like wildfire in a forest and manages to become the talk on town within minutes. However, it is not necessary that all the news you hear about her or any other showbiz personality is true.

A recent case of a fabricated news was spotted on the internet involving her and Pakistan’s older actresses.

The fake news was relating a feud that had happened between Mahira and Meera some months back. Meera had subtly criticised Mahira but Mahira had ended the whole ‘feud’ by saying that she respects Meera Jee a lot  and can never reach her level. However, this didn’t stop the news agencies from creating a fake quotation of  the actress,

Mahira Khan’s Bollywood debut film Raees is all set to hit the cinemas on January 25, 2017. The male lead of the film Shah Rukh unveiled two posters of Raees today. The first poster is intense and shows SRK in a emotional moment with Mahira. The couple in the poster is seen holding each other’s hands passionately and we just cannot stop staring at them.

Raees has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. It was caught up into various controversies due to Mahira Khan playing the female lead. Ever since the tensions between the countries, all the Pakistani actors are banned to work in India and the ban is still continued.
